The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, coffee pot, dishes, and misc. utensils. *Please bring your own linens, pillows, and water. On the backside of the cabin, you'll find a peaceful sitting area with a firepit. When nature calls, there is a well-built outhouse that is available. There is also a large outdoor shower with heated water and a dressing area. There are trails that meander through the property for those who enjoy walking, biking, snowmobiling, or four wheeling. You won't find a more peaceful, tranquil property to relax in and enjoy the wildlife. Only 1.3 miles into Manton with several bars and restaurants. Within 3 miles you are able to gain access to State property, the Manistee River, and Chase Creek. From the trails in this area you can go as far as Houghton Lake and Fife Lake. Great area for hunting, fishing, four wheeling, dirt bikes, and hiking. This is a great getaway you don't want to miss out on!

Locally there is tubing and canoeing at the Cedar River in Gladwin and kayaking at Pinconning Park on Saginaw Bay. Guests can explore many antique shops as well as Pinconna and Northwoods Outlet store. Many of our campers never leave the property but choose to relax and watch the life of the forest. Weekend Trip to The Crow’s Nest Forest Camp

This was probably the most special cabin experience I have ever had! We got to the cabin after sundown, it was still very easy to find as Jeff had texted us detailed directions as soon as we began driving from home. The boardwalk that leads to the cabin was lit up in blue, waking up was both amazing and very safe. The cabin itself was so cozy and comfortable, the decor was really cool. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great. Sheila provided a lot of great extra stuff: coffee, firewood, toiletries, dishes , linens and lots of other things. You really just need to bring food and clothing. The trail around the property was beautiful, we loved the signs. We loved the garden and dock. All in all, it was a restorative and wonderful time at the Crows Nest and we would easily come back. We want to thank Sheila and Jeff for everything they do here and their deep hospitality. The world is that much better due to their hard work :)

This spot is incredible! The rustic cabin is perfect for unwinding. Literally the dream, a peaceful spot in the woods. Tim is a super nice dude and way accommodating. The cabin has a lot of stuff that one may have forgot. Some games, some firewood, things for cooking, a little coffee maker. It was nice to take the family camping without hauling all the gear. Thanks again dude!

Weekend Trip to The Crow’s Nest Forest Camp

Sheila went above and beyond to make our stay special for our honeymoon. The cabin was cozy and well supplied and had some nice trails around the property. The boardwalk leading up to the cabin looked very cool with the LED light illumination. Would definitely come back!

My partner and I went here to celebrate our 5 years together and had such an amazing and cozy time! Sheila was a fantastic host and even set up balloons and chocolate for our celebration which was so sweet! The site was easy to find and was just as described! We also really loved the short trail with positive messages! It was such a cozy stay and made the first leg of our anniversary trip so meaningful! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and cozy getaway!

I just got back from an awesome stay at tree hugger. I cant say enough about this property. Perfect. Cabin was great, beautiful trails to hike and everything you could need for a peaceful relaxing weekend. Highly recommend for anyone that enjoys getting away and enjoying nature. Weekend Trip to Beehive Air Therapy Cabin

I had a really peaceful and productive writing and reading solo retreat weekend here. The smell and sound of the hive is incredible and difficult to describe; the outside space around the cabin is also very nice, and I spent a lot of time there, but I kept finding myself going back in to hang out with the bees. It was a hot weekend, but the window and a small fan kept it really comfortable, and the fan was quiet enough I could still hear the bees. The outdoor kitchen is perfectly set up, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. I'm definitely looking forward to another visit.
