Jeannie & I loved Phil & Stormy's Place. It was quiet this time of year, and we were lucky to be the only folks at their Camp. They definitely had made it their own, and have great amenities. Firewood & Firepit, 30 amp service, a water hose , picnic table & dry kindling.. 2 Porta Potties on site, and a RV cleanout. Great Wooden games around the site for folks enjoyment. Phil is a world renown Game maker who makes Games and interesting items, which he makes in his shop on site. Sends it all around the world. Besides meeting Phil and Chit chatting, because we are both Hip Camp Hosts, Phil gave us a tour of his Shop and woodworking area. Pretty impressive. He was a great host, and is Passionate about Kubb, a Yard game that was originally played overseas, but because of Phi, brought the game to the US. He actually has his own playing field. We plan on visiting again, as we loved the vibe

You truly are sitting lakefront. I sat on a couple of boulders and just watched the waves. So incredibly peaceful. Instructions were clear and directions were easy to follow. One thing I will note is that you truly are rural - there is a grocery store and a few food options, but it's limited. Of you are an early riser, know that many of the food establishments open later. The site is absolutely gorgeous. I simply could not have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely awesome campsite! The location couldn’t be better—close to the ferry for easy access to Drummond Island, yet tucked away enough to feel completely private and peaceful. The views of Lake Huron and Strawberry Island are absolutely beautiful and make this spot even more special. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and an excellent communicator. Great spot to camp while on a long motorcycle tour. Ted was prompt with his communication. His site has everything you need. Power for charging your phone, an outdoor shower, a table with a couple chairs next to a fire ring and a clean porta-potty. If you don’t feel like cooking ride into Boyne City and go to Santé. The food was excellent.

Nice quiet spot. Only a few other campers around but still felt private at spot 16. Not great cell service but had no issues with our Starlink.

4 nights at Blissfest Festival Farm

A quiet day in paradise. Campsites are very large with fire pit and a bin of free wood is provided on site between the solar showers and portapots. So much beautiful land to walk and explore. If you like a crowd this is not for you. Most times I have been here, there were less than a handful of campers.

Weekend Trip to Schoolie Bus Camp & Camping Area

The school bus was great! We took our 2 year old on a long trip in Michigan and stayed at multiple 5 star hotels. What was his favorite? The school bus! We enjoyed late night fires and easy slow wake ups! Our son particularly enjoyed opening and closing the bus door manually. In summary, we made fond memories in the school bus!
