The small county park next door offers a riverside boardwalk full of natural flora and wildlife for morning strolls or the delight of a fisherman who likes to be 1st on the water! Kayak and Canoe Rentals are also available on sight, best to reserve in advance. Hiking trails nearby offer a great way to explore the Allegan Forest or the lakeshore sand dunes. We are 7 miles east of Saugatuck and 5 miles north of Fennville, our site makes a perfect escape from the nearby lakeshore shopping and dining district while keeping you in close proximity to local wineries and other attractions. The property is shared by (2) full-hook up RV sites and a cabin. If available, the cabin and sites may be rented together however the owners, Jim and Maria, use the cabin much of the summer leaving just the RV sites available.
The property is at mile market 13 of the Kal-Haven Trail - the midpoint. The Kal-Haven Trail is a biking, cross-country skiing, walking, running, snowmobiling - you name it, the trail that goes 34 miles from Kalamazoo to South Haven. Literally steps from the property and you are on the trail.
But you may not need to leave the property, with 6.3 acres of woods and field, with trail cut through PLUS the added public lands butted up to Tincan's property line, giving almost 20 acres to roam.
Each RV site - far enough apart to be separate, close enough if you and friends/family want to camp together, has a fire pit and fireplace. Each RV site offers water, 30|50AMP electrical and septic.
The dock may have availability for keeping you boat - please inquire. There are kayaks and some bikes (mostly teen and adult size) that may be used. These are shared amenities for the cabin and campsite guests and offered on a first come, first serve basis.
There are surprises galore around the property; big foots to be found tucked around the property, games, and overall just a fun place to be.
This was a run-down fishing cabin Jim and Maria lovingly brough back to life as a second home and they delight in sharing it. Jim often referred to it as "The Tincan" while working on it as it was - indeed, a tin shack and the name stuck.

If you're intrigued by the “tiny home” trend, consider staying in one of our cozy rental cabins. These rustic accommodations are equipped with power, air conditioning, and a mini-refrigerator, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of outdoor fun. Please note that while you’ll need to bring your own bedding, pets and smoking are not permitted in the cabins. Each cabin can accommodate up to six guests, featuring one full-size bed and two sets of twin-size bunk beds.

The camp spot on Luke's farm was lovely. While we requested the kayaks for their pond, we did not end up using them. The space was very private. We had a little trouble getting to the space as the direction listed in the booking did not land you immediately into the space, but more like adjacent. We arrived late and it was dark out so we had a tough time knowing where to turn, there was very little signage to indicate where exactly to go, and we did not have the best cell service. We made it to their farm and we were given a map.
Overall, i would stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful time out in nature. The views of the autumn foliage were abundant. Thank you!

We loved this camp. We travel with our 3 dogs, and this is the perfect place for them to have their space to romp around. Firewood was at the campsite when we got there, a beautiful lake, and seclusion. We came to area to mountain bike the dragon trail, this camp is a great home base for bikers.

Weekend Trip to Riverside Respite at New Richmond
We loved our time at Trestle Bell! It was so nice to arrive to our site and have firewood waiting for us, as well as potable water. We really enjoyed the riverside location near Fennville and it was a short drive to Saugatuck and Douglas.

My children and I had enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Provision Family Farms! Luke was friendy and helpful, and the Treehouse campsite was beautiful. We ended up sleeping in tents because my kids were convinced that the sound of acorns falling in the roof of the tree house was some sort of malevolent forest creature.
Highlights for us: We enjoyed seeing the farm animals, and the composting toilet station was beautifully designed and maintained.
