Enjoy a tranquil weekend at Winimusett Farm, a 28 acre retreat on a flower farm with 4 ponds, many streams and rolling fields. In addition to our cozy cabin we also offer a stay in the bunk house attached to the barn. This space offers 3 rooms, a wood stove, microwave, 2 queen beds and 2 twin bed, a spacious living room and dining area. The bunk house is on the lower part of the pond, making it more accessible as parking is right at the door.
There are private camp sites for guests who prefer to pitch a tent or park their van or RV. There's a portable toilet on site seasonally for guests staying on the lower half of the farm.
We can accommodated small respectful groups of campers looking for a quiet stay in nature. It's a great spot for local Scout Troops to pitch their tents and explore nature. Message for more information.

Salamander Hollow is a private, evolving honeybee and human being
sanctuary on 17 acres of land abutting Massachusetts State Forest. We
currently have a one-room, wood stove warmed, cozy sleeping loft for one or two - with two benches below on either side of room - for two sleeping bags; plus, a separate 22 foot Sioux tipi with two cots. There are two chairs in the tipi, which if removed at night, make floor room for four other sleeping bags.
'Forest Bathing' for miles!
If you're a larger group booking Salamander Hollow main camp with its Sleeping Library, Tipi & Slovenian Beehive House, you might consider renting this additional Tiny Cabin want to entertain all in glamping style, utilizing its amenities; as well, providing another bathroom/shower and guest bedroom for those who prefer being indoors while in the great outdoors.
Note that Kula Bata Tiny Cabin abuts the wheelchair accessible larger bathroom/shower which is available to those at the Salamander Hollow main camp, yet you are secluded with your own private entry points and private bathroom.
A ten minute drive takes you to the parking area to hike up Tully Mountain. There is a grill, wood fired pizza oven, two fire pits and a hygienic Incinolet electric toilet on the property for night convenience, with small camp sinks for washing & teeth brushing.
Take a short hike off the property to organic Chase Hill Farm for milk, eggs, seasonal veggies, grass fed meat and other goodies. Say hello to their cows, chickens, pigs, goats, pups and kids. Nestled across the road from Salamander Hollow is Timber Haven Farm, where you can schedule your pickup of bacon and eggs, while loading up on delicious Owl Energy Bars for your adventurous excursions. For those interested in the glamping side of camping, you will enjoy a remote rustic experience with a few creature comforts to keep you well read, clean and fed. Please bring your own bedding - pillows, sleeping bags, comforter, teddy bears.There is a wall mounted blue tooth car radio/CD player in Sleeping Library, so bring your pre-digital favorites. Classical CDs to listen to. Lots of eclectic books to peruse.Walkie talkies, a set of 4, are available upon request. Chess & poker sets, too.

Bring fire-starters/newspaper for tinder. We suggest if you are staying more than a night or two in winter, you bring supplemental wood or we can direct you to a nearby stand. Next season, our own cut and split wood will be seasoned and available on site. We ask that you carry out trash and recyclables.
An established Western facing four point sacred Medicine Wheel site being established on Askari Ridge - our name for the slope starting with the two fire pits - 'Askari' being Swahili for night guard.
Here is where we envision a great touch-point area for those leading groups to be for a base-camp by day or night, where eventually a multi-use tenting platform/performance stage will be constructed for outdoor entertainment, creating an authentic 'stadium style' seating on the hill.
You will see on your way up to Salamander Hollow main clearing - the Kula Bata Tiny Kabin on the left of the dirt road- now available to rent with its small guest room for two, infrared sauna, hot shower, kitchenette, dishwasher and laundry.

Listen to the gentle brook and barred owls while nestled into the woods of Ashfield, MA on a small herbal homestead. The forest hut is a screened in platform that is lovely for camping on a warm summer's night. It has large windows and screens to keep out the bugs while enjoying a cool mountain breeze. There is a newly built composting toilet on site and small fire pit. This is not a cabin, no electricity, running water or plumbing. It is not well suited for winter camping unless you’re well equipped.

Pachaug is Connecticut’s largest state forest, clocking in at twodozen acres. Oh wait, excuse us, two-dozen-thousand acres! That’s 24,000 for the non-bakers here. Long story short, it’s going to take a loooong time to explore this whole place.
Pachaug is derived from the Indian term meaning bend or turn in the river. Unsurprisingly, the Pachaug River is one twisty son-of-a…headwater, probably. Fox Farm is located on 8 magical acres in eclectic Brattleboro, VT. Pitch your tent in a sacred private white pine forest or closer to the trail-head with access to a charcoal grill, a huge fire circle and a picnic table. If you prefer a roof over your head, check Fox Farm Cottage @ Fox Farm. Located ideally on a trail-head that leads to the West River Trail (a 36-mile scenic trail through the West River Valley – eventually linking Brattleboro, Dummerston, Newfane, Townshend, Jamaica and South Londonderry) and the West River, offering opportunities to hike, fish, swim, ski, snow shoe and bike. The Marina Bar and Restaurant is a 2 mile hike or bike ride from the camp site (via the West River Trail) and is a fun way to see the beauty of Vermont and partake in some excellent indoor/outdoor dining with views of the water.
Currently there are two areas available to campers; The Pine Forest and the Council of the Elders.
The Pine Forest is a shaded circular area that is very spiritual and quiet.
There are currently 3 camp sites in the Pine Forest.
The Council of the Elders is a more open (again circular) area that abuts The Pine Forest and has a large fire pit as it's centerpiece, surrounded by the Elder Pine trees. I have had up to 2 campers and an occasional van/camper at the Council of the Elders.
I have most recently had requests to book the entire Pine Forest for guests who are traveling together and want privacy- and Ido my best to work with people to accommodate any needs.
Please bring your own firewood if you intend to have a fire. I offered wood to guests in the past when I was able but found that tricky to manage as there are times I myself am out of wood. There is plenty of felled wood all around as the property is surrounded by a dense forest and guests are welcome to gather that to supplement fire making.
In my experience as a host, I have noted that folks come together and build mini-communities, share food, fires and is generally a positive vibe.
Some come for privacy and solitude, which has not been an issue thus far.
All in all the energy is upbeat and folks make friends along the way- me too!
Brattleboro is a funky, hipster town with many excellent restaurants and much to see and do.
For winter enthusiasts Mount Snow is a 30 minute drive and folks can cross country ski and snowshoe right from their camp sites to the 36 mile trail.
The Hipcamper can expect privacy yet easy accessibility to the homeowner for tips and ideas to support a positive experience.
Campers may be greeted and visited my friendly Bernese Mountain Dog's, Loki Bear and Levi!

I had a lovely stay at the Forest Hut. It was a cold and rainy night but just the retreat I needed. The stay was just as Hannah described it in the listing. I also purchased a tincture at the apothecary shop! I enjoyed exploring the nearby area too including Three Sisters Sanctuary and the Bridge of Flowers

The cabin is incredibly cute and comfortable, on beautiful land. It is well stocked - including nice touches like a hooded cotton robe, comfy bedding, a tiny coffee maker, a headlamp, and a tarot deck :) I could imagine that the loft could be difficult for some people to maneuver in and out of if they have any mobility issues, but I found it super cozy.
My favorite thing was the outdoor shower. Wow, so lovely. And the outhouse is even pretty and tastefully decorated! A lounge chair near the cabin would have been really sweet, but overall the stay was absolutely wonderful.
The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend AtLand and hope to return!

Healing ï's a great word. I take sleeping pills and it's become an addiction but I didn't need them here. We rented the whole property and I would highly recommend this if you need to think or relax and just have privacy.

Weekend Trip to Wapack Trail Cabin
This cabin is something special. The property is quiet, the bed is super comfortable and Jon was an amazing host. The cabin is situated in the woods on an old road. There is a fire pit, electric kettle, tea, coffee and some paper plates, bowls, utensils, etc. Outhouse is clean. There is a 3 mile hiking/ mountain bike trail 1/4 mile from the canin. Coyotes serenaded me at night as did the gray wood frogs and barred owls. The doors open in the rear of the cabin with a huge screen that faces the forest. Everything about this place was magical. You won't find a better host than Jon. Super cool and very accommodating. If it's available, book it.

Beautiful tiny cabin. They’ve done big things with a small space. The little touches were clearly thought out including a heater and fan, ear plugs, and plenty of utensils/kitchen ware to eat and make coffee. They also have a new outdoor bathroom! Rustic but cozy, functional, and clean experience. Would do again.

Wonderful spot for bird-watching! Expand your life list. Feels like you are far away from everything on the island, but you can be back on land in 10 minutes. Hosts Mary and Ingo were super accommodating. Ingo kindly even helped me to get the canoe back to the island after capsizing in a wind gust! Good news—I was a much better paddler by the end of my stay. It was raining a good bit of the time, but it didn’t slow the birds down and was a great background for reading actual printed books! Also, lots of games and activities in the cabin. Being early May, it was cold. An extra layer of clothing and a good sleeping bag made all the difference. I live nearby and have been jealously eying the cabin for 40 years. Thanks to Mary and Ingo for bringing the dream alive!

Weekend Trip to The Cabin
What a beautiful spot — with a breathtaking view. Very quiet, and a perfect place to write. Watched a bluebird hunt insects right outside my window. Then I woke up early to listen to the dawn birdsong, one of those things I’d always wanted to do, Wood thrushes and hermit thrushes among the many singers — those are my absolute favorites. Julie is the most wonderful host!!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The cabin was so cozy, a perfect size for two (and a dog), and had great amenities. The sauna was our favorite part! So much to do too! You can spend your time relaxing around the cabin, exploring the surrounding trails and farms, or visiting the nearby town. We will definitely be back!

This was a great visit for my first use of hipcamp! It exceeded our expectations. Jon was very responsive to messages and helpful with getting set up for our night here. Everything was clean and cozy. The peace of the woods was wonderful. Highly recommend and we will be stopping by here the next time we're back in this area!

I had a great experience at Jon's cabin. Jon was very responsive to any messages, and gave my dog and I a very warm welcome when we arrived.
The cabin itself is clean and spacious, the bed quite comfortable, and the wood stove effective and easy to use for both cooking and heating. The final stretch of road from Jon's home to the cabin will only work for cars with good ground clearance, but if you don't have that it's a pretty short walk from the driveway. The Wapack trail is, quite literally, right outside the cabin door, along with easy walking access to several other hiking trails. My dog and I were able to complete a very fun 5 mile hike without having to drive anywhere, and it could've easily extended to another 3-5 miles for anyone with more ambitious hiking preferences.
The cabin has electricity, several options for lighting, a space heater to complement the wood stove, and plenty of little games/activities sprinkled around the cabin for you to enjoy. Though an easy walk from Jon's house, the cabin is quite private.
I'll definitely be staying here again in the future!

We had a lovely relaxing getaway. Quiet mornings on the back porch sipping coffee while our 16 month old wandered around - following the dog. We would forest bath/hike in the afternoons & enjoy sessions in the sauna while baby naps. Fires & wine warmed us as we reflected about our days under the moon lit sky. This place is so cozy and are grateful for our time spent here.

Had a wonderful weekend on Mary’s land! The Kula Bata Cabin was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our pup! Mary is a great host and has cultivated a beautiful, peaceful space.
