Tucked away on 178 peaceful acres, our historic 1785 Vermont homestead offers a true back-to-the-land experience—just 15 minutes from downtown Brattleboro.
Wander old logging roads and wooded trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and quiet forest bathing. Cool off in the clear swimming holes along Broad Brook, listen to birdsong, and keep an eye out for deer, owls, and other wildlife. Ancient stone walls wind through the property, telling stories of the land’s long history.
Bring your horses—there’s plenty of room to roam and miles of trails to explore together. At night, settle in under some of the darkest skies around, where the stars truly put on a show. We have three Nubian goats, No No Nannett, Mario, and Luigi, an English Springer Spaniel named Oliver, and A French Guinea hen named Hercules.
Feeling a little adventurous? Try your hand at gold panning in Broad Brook—campers are welcome to borrow equipment and give it a go.
This is a place to slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy the simple beauty of Vermont.
