You can fish and float the river. There are no trails so a moderate level of fitness and comfort in the forest is needed. You can follow the water ways but it is wilderness. Camping there is primitive but available or you can camp or glamp at Earthwalk Ways Retreat. We are also adjacent to a 50 acre farm on the other side of the creek that is available for hiking. The cabin was so comfortable and exactly what I needed. I spent probably half of my weekend enjoying the bug-free front porch, listening to music (and playing!), and just having a totally empty brain. The people, though - they really made the stay! I was welcomed into conversations as though I'd been part of the community for years. There was room to explore! The pool was a welcome surprise - I only say that because I'm not much of a pool guy. This was where folks gathered to talk, read, snack... whatever! What a wonderful community!
