Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters.
Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay.
The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area.
Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here.

Weekend Trip to Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary
We were thrilled with our experience at Huck & Buck Farm! Michael and Andrea tended to us like family. The facilities - especially the bathhouse - was impeccable. This was exactly what we needed for a peaceful, restorative retreat. We’ve already referred friends and we will be back!

This was a fantastic experience and the tiny cabin was exceptionally cozy and so cute with sparkling lights, heaters, fire pits, and hot tub. Andrea's farm tour was incredible, I wish I lived closer as to visit more and help with the chores! Very eye-opening, they care about their animals so much and care for the community, which all in all made it a great bday trip :) Our dog was so excited seeing the animals, who were all so sweet and made us immediately want to get into the farming business! Thank you so much and we will be sure to visit again. [Also the surrounding area is very nice and close to a lot of cute and cozy shops; or even just a little drive south to Rehoboth or north to Wilmington!]

We loved our stay! Anne was very welcoming and helpful. The property is in a rural farming community, yet only 20 minutes to Kennett Square or Longwood Gardens. It’s very relaxing and quiet. Anne has a mudroom on her house that we were able to use that has a bathroom and sink. While the spot is in a carriage house driveway (we were also offered an option a little further away in a field), you still have a good sense of privacy. Anne left eggs and some veggies on our doorstep the first day. The entire trip was great and we’d definitely return. Anne is a lovely host who goes out of her way to make sure you are happy.

This camp site was great! Bathroom in their home was close by, as was prepared firewood. Chickens and horses greeted us in the morning, which was a great surprise! It was a nice, quiet spot. Would recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Andrea's instructions were perfect. The bathhouse was the nicest I have experienced. Andrea and Michael were very friendly, authentic, down-to-earth people who welcomed me like I was an old friend. I was able to purchase farm fresh eggs, which were amazing! Interacting with the animals was both enjoyable and educational. Michael shared his animal knowledge and answered all of my questions. I felt renewed and experienced peace during my stay here. I would definitely return!

Great spot! Tom and Anne are incredibly sweet hosts, and my dog Charlie and I really loved the site. We ended up staying at the RV site, which is a little further from the house and is enclosed by a gate, which allowed me to let Charlie run free. Very cool to hang out with the goats, cows, sheep, and chickens and watch the Amish buggies roll by.

Oh my gosh....What an absolutely fabulous little gem this tiny house is! Lovely and clean, with a microwave , fridge, heat and AC, and coffee maker. A cozy fire pit is nearby as is a hot tub surrounded by twinkling lights. Andrea was such a super helpful hostess and genuinely nice getting me set up. And of course , it was fun to go visit the goats and farm animals. It was just the getaway I needed and I will definitely be back! 😃🐐🐖🐎🐈🐕🐄🔥❤️

I love spending time at Craig's property. This was my second visit and somehow it was better than the first trip which was amazing. We weren't able to paddle bc the creek was down, and it wasn't impactful to our fun at all. Just book it! And if you can check out the nearby dirt race track BAPS, fun for kids and adults alike.

This site is on a lovely farm owned by a kind and friendly host. I had a peaceful night’s sleep with my pup. The bathroom facility is absolutely the best I have ever experienced at a camp. Highly recommend this stay.

What a wonderful place with fantastic hosts!!! I stayed in the tiny cabin with friends for two nights. It was TINY and absolutely heavenly. It's the attention to detail that made this a true luxury glamping experience. The bathroom, oh the bathroom!! Best campground bathroom I've ever had (and I've had a lot!). Our host, Andrea, was genuine, beyond gracious, super knowledgeable, and generous with her time. She showed us all around the farm and shared their story since the inception of the property. I have so much adoration, admiration, and respect for these guys. Between the fresh eggs and meat, interactions with the animals, the garden, firepit, and hot tub, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I give Huck and Buck a 10/10 and can't recommend it enough for car glamping. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

What a great experience! I can't sat enough wonderful things about Huck and Buck Farm. They saw to our every comfort: from providing wood for the campfire to clean bathrooms with fresh towels daily and even bacon! Make sure you ask for the Farm tour. We will definitely return. What a wonderful place!

Andrea and Michael were great hosts. My husband and I like farm work, so we pitched in and helped Andrea clean out her tunnel. The directions to our site were easy to follow. The site was smooth and flat for the tent and the bath house was immaculate. There were even towels and extra toiletries!

Only stayed one night as we were traveling through for a baseball game in Baltimore but we would 100% stay again, we had a nice quiet spot near the back of camp with plenty of room as tent campers. Bathrooms/showers were only a few steps away. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and made us feel safe and right at home. ☺️

This was my second time at Craig’s space and it did not disappoint! Great eating, beautiful scenes and amenities galore. Me and four other friends set up a tent down by creek and woke up to some of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve seen in a while. If you’re into birding, we heard and saw all kinds of amazing feathered friends.
Our dogs explored every inch of the property and we got a chance to kayak pretty far down the Conewago creek. Craig was a master host, incredibly responsive but gave us plenty of room to feel like the space was our own.
I can’t recommend this spot enough!

Had a really lovely visit at Sweetdale. It’s nestled in Amish farm country, surrounded by natural beauty and all around good vibes. The actual sight is extremely lovely as Anne has spent a lot of time beautifully landscaping their property. Anne and Tom were extremely hospitable and accommodating. The closeness of the bathroom to the campsite was a real bonus. I hated to leave and would highly recommend. PS some wonderful botanical gardens (Winterthur and Longwood) are within 30 minutes.
