We had a wonderful time at Jill’s property for an overnight trip with our camper. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoy the peaceful countryside while exploring the pond and beautiful tree covered driveway. Jill’s communication has been the best we’ve experienced this far!!

My niece goes camping twice a year and I hijacked this fall trip. I selected Yates’ site because of the quiet and tranquil surrounding and we were not disappointed. Tucker, Yates’ cousin, met us at check-in with the sweetest dog. We found site 3 easily and setup went smoothly. Site 3 is shady and offers views of the Patuxent River and a nice swampy area below. Loved the sounds of birds, fox…night life. I wasn’t expecting all the Daddy Long Legs and various other spiders. Thank God my niece was there to save me, lol. We brought our own wood, but there was kindling/small branches at the site that we also took advantage of. We played it forward and left the same for the next camper. I would definitely stay here again, just not at Site 3. I think Site 1 is open without the abundance of trees and prayerfully less bugs.

I stayed here with my two dogs and we had such a great time. It’s incredibly peaceful. No traffic noise, no people, just nature. Being able to let the dogs off leash without worrying was AMAZING. They ran around, swam, sniffed everything… they were living their best lives.
We explored some of the local hiking spots during the day and did some fishing. At night the sky was unreal. You can actually see the stars and moon without any light pollution. We even saw the international space station. Super quiet at night too—just frogs and wind.
Yates, the owner, was really nice. He told me ahead of time that his sons would be driving by early in the morning so I wouldn’t be surprised, which I appreciated. Other than that he totally gave us space and let us do our thing.
Overall just a really relaxing, low-stress place to camp. If you want quiet, space, and a chill vibe (especially if you have dogs), this place is perfect. This is going to be my new go-to spot.

Great site and beautiful property overall! There was plenty of space for our fifth wheel to turn around and park. Power and water is conveniently located, and easy to use.
The location is convenient to Cambridge and Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.
Great site and friendly host - we will be back if we are in the area again!

Judi and Berry are kind and generous hosts, and their property is beautiful! I was so grateful to enjoy gorgeous sunsets from their quiet campsite rather than endure a chaotic Labor Day weekend in a packed RV park. I was provided a level concrete pad with electric (50/30A and 120V), water, and a view of the harbor. I was also able to use Judi and Berry's pier with a cute tiki hut, picnic table, and chairs surrounding a firepit. Frequent guests included a family of ducks, a family of swans, a heron, and an osprey. I had a great weekend!

Nice property. Our dog loved it. Stayed at site # 4. Plenty of space on the grass to pitch a large tent and then a serene tree covered hang out with a picnic table and fire pit. We hung a couple hammocks for a relaxing area to read a book and take a nap. As other reviewers have mentioned, pay attention to the tide if you plan to make use of the dock.. there is not much water there at low tide. However at high tide there the water is plenty usable to kayak or paddle board.

This campsite was absolutely beautiful! The self check-in process was quick and easy, and we had no trouble following the map to our site, which had stunning water views. We brought inflatable kayaks and, while the water was a bit shallow during our stay, we were still able to get out and explore. We also enjoyed a lovely walk around the property and met some fellow campers, all of whom were very friendly.
The water pump was simple to use, and we really appreciated that firewood was provided. One of the best parts was how well-spaced the campsites were—giving you the option to enjoy privacy and quiet whenever you wanted. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Weekend Trip to Circe The Airstream
We had such a wonderful stay at the Circe! It was such a lovely getaway for slow mornings, sipping on coffee, reading and enjoying the views. Our favorite thing to do was cook dinner and eat outside under the stars. Mark was a great host and Colonial Beach is just 4 minutes away. We will definitely be back again!

This was our second time at Harbor View and it was just as delightful as the first. The spot is perfect and the views are unbeatable, it feels like being in a nature sanctuary. Our son loved being able to swim in the water and we all loved watching the swans, herons, ducks, and osprey. It is hard not to be relaxed while staying there and we will definitely keep coming back! Barry and Judi are the best hosts out there.

First off, Judi and Berry are wonderful hosts who have many years of RV’ing experience. They made us feel right at home. And then, there is the view from the RV. We watched the swan family (mom, dad and 2 cygnets), the mallard duck family and when they weren’t around, the great blue heron came to visit. Of course, you can also walk down to the dock, enjoy a cold brew and watch the sunset. We will be back :-)
