A cozy night for two (or four) in a tipi! A family reunion, or an outdoor wedding. We are able to offer three sioux-styled tipi's. Rent one tipi or rent the entire village for a birthday party or gathering. Outdoor wedding packages are available! These are 18 foot tipi's surrounded in a nature setting. We have picnic and grilling areas on-site along with a full bathroom and kitchen located at The Tipi Village office, located in a small log cabin. Each tipi has it's own sitting area and firepit, suitable for cooking. The village also has a community firepit where everyone can gather. Renting the entire campground is a great way to have a party or celebration and having exclusive use of this micro-campground. This is a glamping-type of experience with limited heat and AC, beds, carpet, and of course an electric fireplace!

Weekend Trip to Barren River Magic
The peace pipe is a campers refuge! I loved the lower level sitting area, brought along flowers and a tablecloth and it made for a beautiful meditation/yoga sanctuary. The upstairs sleeping loft was a reprieve from the heat and had the best views of the land! Mostly, we spent our free time star gazing and strolling the river. It was an amazing getaway and we can't wait to come back!

Patrick's Point is absolutely incredible. If you're visiting Cumberland Falls, this is the spot. Patrick and Angelica are such wonderful hosts. We felt like family, and I look forward to bringing my kids back to explore some more!
Things of note: no major bug issues in the shack. We didn't need mosquito nets. Bathrooms are clean and plentiful. Showers are hot. The chickens are amazing...as are their eggs. Lots of on site activities and the most wonderful hosts.

My husband and I had the most amazing time this past week. From the views of the river to the views of the sky everything was perfect. We heard the owls at night which made for a great evening by the fire. We stayed in the river shack and woke up to the sight of the Cumberland river every morning. Bugs are minimal. Clean bathrooms and showers. Although I did not get a chance to use the second set of outdoor showers I did check them out and looked very inviting. We stayed for 5 days and was not looking forward to come back to civilization.
