My grandparents, Donald Clayton Russell & Jewel Geneva (Davis) Russell, purchased this little piece of heaven to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati life. Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

It's a mountain or some may say a hill. We call it a mountain because of the rock bluffs, cliffs, and dramatic nature of this spot. As such, there are cliffs you could fall off, trails that are difficult and dangerous at times depending on your hiking skill level. It is a great place to write, paint, read, do yoga or just rejuvenate and "get right" with nature. Get the best sleep of your life on a Nectar mattress with the sounds of the creek drifting through the window. NEW this year - 125-yard golf driving range available. Golf balls provided. Bring your clubs! Guest access Guests have a private cabin all to themselves. They may feel free to wander around the property, venture onto the walking paths, walk in the creek, etc. The only space that is off limits is my cabin down the creek. Of course, if there is some kind of emergency, feel free to come find me. Other things to note While pets are allowed, there will be a $25 charge per day/per pet, paid to hosts upon arrival. I have a very friendly dog of my own on the property who free-roams. Also, if guests leave their pets in the cabin while they are gone, the pets must be crated. Inside the cabin, the bathroom is equipped with an Incinolet toilet. I find that it is quite efficient if used properly. Instructions will be given upon arrival and are included on the wall in the bathroom. We can only accommodate TWO guests at a time in the cabin due to the Incinolet's capability.

This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

We loved staying at Kozy Haven Cabins!! It’s cute, quaint, clean, and so comfortable🙌🏻🙌🏻! We stayed in Cabin 5 and when I say it was such an unexpected surprise how nice it was! Pictures don’t do this place justice. 10/10 recommend staying here for a wonderful getaway!! We will definitely be back again and plan to book future trips with our family and friends ❤️❤️❤️

I loved the place, Patrick and Angelica are very nice people, I felt pretty comfortable since the beginning. They helped me to change the cabin right there paying the difference, the mattresses are surprisingly comfortable, WIFI worked perfectly fine in my cabin. I was a little worried of getting the no-door cabin because of bugs and safety, but I din't have any problem at all, I slept perfectly fine, you should use repellent though. The bathrooms are very clean and they have hot water (in case it's cold) The place is really close from Cumberland Falls, I realized late that Patrick offers Kayaking, Canoeing and other stuff, so I booked on another place beforehand and it was more expensive, I had to drive far and the Kayaking was on the same points than Patrick offer, so feel free to do it with Patrick, is cheaper, you leave your car at the campground and you save a bunch of time. I'd definitely come back to this place without thinking it again.

I can not say how impressed I was with this cozy little cabin. There was everything that I could have needed. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. I loved all the small things like plenty of lights above, with additional lamps on the tables, towels, toiletries like shampoo and stuff, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc. The beds were so soft because they were memory foam and included sheets, pillow and comforter. I had brought my own bedding so theirs was not needed. AC was nice and cold, hot water was hot! The management was so nice and responsive also. Also loved how close we were to everything. I will 100% be staying at this little get away on my next trip. I highly recommend you staying here.

We had a fantastic stay! Patrick was an incredible host—warm, welcoming, and full of helpful tips. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a family getaway. We especially loved exploring the Hero Trail with our little one—he had the best time adventuring through the woods. It was a memorable experience for all of us. If we find ourselves in Kentucky again, this spot will definitely be at the top of our list. Highly recommend!
