Enjoy a stay at Heritage Farm and experience all the exhilaration that an Indiana farm has to offer. Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, several goats. The newest addition to the farm is a pair of small breed Kune Kune pigs! If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm. Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens!
Heritage Farm has several options for overnight lodging. One of the most popular places to stay is in our authentic 1850's log cabin. And it's certainly special to us as well. The cabin represents a valued part of our heritage. It reminds us every day of our agricultural roots, solid values and the importance of faith and family.

Nestled on nine wooded acres conveniently located just one mile off I-69 in Daleville, Indiana, this relaxing and peaceful property also features a five-acre, spring-fed pond. Whether you prefer a secluded retreat or a communal gathering, rent a single spot or the entire 8 acres for your outing. We strive to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Throughout the year, our property is home to chickens, a cow , usually a few pigs, and a couple of dogs, offering a glimpse into rural life. Join us this weekend and gather around the fire pit for warmth and camaraderie. We provide 10-20 primitive sites tailored to your needs, from secluded spots to a communal area where multiple families can camp together and share stories around the fire. Each site includes picnic tables, fire pits, and trash pickup. We also offer firewood, but kindly request that you refrain from bringing wood from elsewhere to preserve the health of our woods for future visitors.
For your convenience, we have a small camp store stocked with essential items often forgotten at home. Additionally, children can enjoy our small playground while adults relax in nature. Whether you pitch a tent or hang your hammock from a tree, we welcome you with open arms. Don't have camping gear? Give us a call, as we offer tent and hammock rentals, along with various other amenities. If you prefer indoor accommodations, we have a camper ready for you.

Each site is in a wooded, shaded area with a flat area on the ground to place a single large tent. Each site has its own fire ring and a small wooden table. There is wood on the ground you may use for firewood, and ample twigs etc on the ground for kindling (do not cut any trees or branches off trees). There is a covered firewood shed with dry firewood as well. There are maintained trails with river access for kayaks. There are 2 porta potties near the campsites with a handwashing station, that is open year round. There is a single bathroom with flush toilet and sink with running water that is a short walk away (open May-Oct depending on weather) There is an outdoor on-demand hot-water shower at bathroom, with a water hose available as well. On-demand hot water heaters provide hotter water at a low water pressure, and cooler water at full blast.
We do provide a large trash bin near the porta potties for trash disposal. DO NOT throw trash into fire pits or burn barrels in the woods.
Campsites are a short walk (100-200 feet) away from parking area (you CANNOT drive directly to or park at your campsite). Foster Park is a short bike ride away where you will find greenway trails that run throughout Fort Wayne (ride your bike to downtown!!) Our property backs up to the St Mary's River, bring you kayaks and fishing poles!
(We reserve the right to assign you to a different (but equally beautiful) campsite in the case of property maintenance concerns, recent rain or weather conditions etc). All guests must be part of a registered group!

This was my friend and I’s first time camping ever and we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we might have needed during our stay and we felt very safe. The area was beautiful and I felt comfortable exploring alone anywhere. Such a peaceful experience and very beginner friendly. I definitely will be back!

This is my second time staying here and first time with family. Just love this place. The access to the pond is amazing, the area is taken care of very well, and just is a great way to disconnect. We booked the Hollow and Round Top and it couldn’t have went better. Highly recommend!

Another lovely weekend at Camp David. Put the new expanded kitchen area. to use and enjoyed the new lights. It wasn't good weather for a river float but we did a little exploring and stopped at the local creamy whip for a tasty treat. David is a wonderful host and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Weekend Trip to Fairytale Camping
The Grape Escape is one of the most magical whimsical fairyland-like "treehouses" you will ever experience. It truly is one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. Let's start with the fact that we requested to stay last minute super late and the host made a huge accommodation for us and even welcomed us by setting up the entire back area with candles. How romantic! The treehouse itself is the coziest and cutest thing ever. The decor. The journal. The bedding. The BED. BEST SLEEP EVER. The signs posted and the map? Helpful! There's also a pond area and the most friendly beautiful trio of horses there too! And everything is done/made by hand. How amazing!!

This place is incredible.
The cabin itself- The kitchen is very well equipped, little things like a great selection of spices to cook with were a great surprise. Everything is very comfortable, and with some high end finishing touches.
The surrounding land and farm are what make it truly special though. Going and watching Alpacas graze during the sunset is truly an experience here. Going out near the pigs and watching them be cute is something you can just do. Being able to wade in the creek on a hot afternoon is a great way to cool off, and being next to it at nighttime while a campfire is going brings everything it should.
The hosts are wonderful people and seem to truly love being able to share their farm with others.

Marla was an amazing host from booking to arriving at location. She helped to upgrade me to the cabin as I wasn’t sure of the weather, then said hello & checked in w me when arriving.
The cabin was a comfortable site with more than enough amenities. This was one of the most beautiful campgrounds I’ve ever been to - with wild but nurtured nature surrounding and a short walk to the river. I felt safe being there on my own. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Camp David
Camp David is one of my favorite places to be! I seen so many birds, it was so peaceful to hear all the wildlife. Making dinner over the fire, with the adjustable grate. Love the new enclosed kitchen that provides us with a space to store food and prep! So many options to choose from to sit and relax, nothing is more relaxing. A much needed reset! The dogs absolutely loved the area, and enjoy swimming in the river. Can’t wait till the next trip!

Camp David was a very cute cabin on the river. David the host was very friendly top notch hospitality. We highly recommend staying here we enjoyed the fire pit and cooked our dinner over the fire pit that was awesome 🔥😊 Definitely bring mosquitos 🦟 repellent once we applied ours they left us alone.
