You can enjoy a small fire (weather dependent) or listen to the crickets and frogs under the starry night. Actually, you can do it all. We offer trail rides on the horses as well, (extra charges). You can even book a trip to the state park to ride the horse trails, which is only 15 minutes away. There is a great fishing lake less than 1 mile from the farm, so bring your poles and kayaks. The place looked great when we arrived, especially lit up at night. Inside, it had that familiar campfire-and-wood smell that made it feel comfortable right away. The heated blanket was the saving grace of the stay. It was in the 30s, and the small radiator heater struggled to keep up, so most of the evening was spent bundled up together under the blanket. The cabin is very small, and the property itself isn’t large either, so you can hear some street noise. Being close to town was convenient, though. We grabbed Chinese carry-out and it was surprisingly good after a cold day. Leslie was thrilled to meet the alpacas, which added a fun moment to the trip. There are several areas set up for groups, and I would definitely come back with friends. The space works well for hanging out and enjoying a simple, low-key getaway.

Wow. What a spot. Everything about our stay was perfect. Such a beautiful place, created by beautiful humans. A creative & cozy place for anyone looking for inspiration & connection! The yurts were heated for our late fall / winter stay and the alpacas were the cutest!!! Thank you Melissa & Jason!

We had to have a place to make the s’mores the hosts so graciously provided!

Brian has an exceptional campground! Each site is different, well separated and surrounded by his beautiful forest. The stars are amazing at night, and if you pay attention, you can see deer, wild turkey, and owls.

We had such a blast, a little chilly 🥶 however that made the fire much more appreciated!! Absolutely loved loved waking up to the chickens & alpacas!!! 🦙 definitely would go back. Also, loved the area as well! Be sure to check out, Standard Farms when ur there!

It’s such a cute little place! Perfect if you want to camp, but don’t want to pack all of the stuff that goes with it! And…perfect for you-never-know-about-the-weather weather. Adorable garden and the alpacas are so darn cute!!! Nice a private!!

We camped in the front of the camp site We had a nice spot and quiet. We took a trail and met other campers they were super friendly. The trails were really nice . We went to use the outhouse and a squirrel was in there, I ran so fast back the site I ran out of my shoes. I tried again later and a chipmunk ran across my foot . Needless to say we have a great story Host was awesone when bad weather was approaching. He even checked on us . Great visit and we will be back again.😆 🤣

I really loved it! It was a lot like regular camping but without having to go buy a tent. Plus the tent was amazing inside and out. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go again!
