Amazing and welcoming host. Best nook that I have found to truly give me trees away from the beaten path. Had a great time in such a peaceful and comfortable environment. The set up for comfort was great!

Weekend Trip to Happy Hollow Homestead

We had a great time camping at Happy Hollow Homestead. The weekend we went was during the neighborhood's Summer Solstice party, and even though we didn't attend, it was a good time. (We were invited to the party, just chose not to go because we were honeymooning.) There is practically no cell service in the whole area of Marengo, but Kerry has wi-fi over the whole property, so we were still able to be reached if needed. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be back.

Our family of 5 had a great time camping at HAPPY HOLLOWS! The property is very unique and had many features that stand out from other campgrounds. Kerry was very attentive and had many great stories to tell. The dogs on the property were all so sweet, and a great surprise for our kids. We would gladly come back in the cooler months

Weekend Trip to Old Camp At Bear Hollow

Nice, well-maintained spot on the side of a quiet dirt road. The beautiful tall trees blocked Starlink, but we didn't mind.

While we couldn’t make the camp site due to weather, the host was very nice in communication. She promptly refunded the cost without me even asking. We will try to stay here again if we are ever passing through the area.

What a treat! If you find yourself in the area, this place is exquisite. One of the best hipcamping spots around. Butch and Laura are wonderful hosts. The creek holds treasure.

1 night at Honeysuckle Ridge

We were a bit hesitant as we had a 38ft motorhome with 3 slides towing a jeep. Jared was very upfront with the tightness of of the driveway. We decided to give it a go and all went very well. We did drive very slow an watched my satillite dish on top and didn't had any issues except for some smaller limbs. It was tight coming and going, but made it without any jogging back back and forth. Our MH is 12ft 6in tall. Like I said, slow and wide turns and it was fine. My Wife I loved the parking spot,,, Fire flies/lightening bugs and Banjo Frogs crocking through the night, Very cozy and private, host were very accomadating

Great site with all the amenities promised. Even had some trails cleared to walk around the property some and close to some really good hikes.

I camped here with a group of friends, and we had a wonderful time. The land is beautiful and teeming with wildlife, Kerry was very friendly and helpful, and we got to mostly disconnect from the outside world for the evening. Recommend!

This place is just fantastic! Excellent sites and amenities, the property was beautiful and well-maintained, and it was very peaceful. The pictures really don't do justice to how beautiful it is. The owners were very helpful and welcoming, but give you your space as well which is always appreciated. I'll be back with my kids soon!

It was beautiful and the unique. We got the 5 bundles which was perfect to have a fire through half the night. Kerry is a great host. You tell him what you’re looking for in a spot, and he will find you the perfect spot. Lots of trees and fire pits. We will be back!

Come explore our land and relax in the "Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end). We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people. We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. The farm is located 15 minutes west of Indiana Universities Memorial Stadium. The property is nice and private. The farm adjoins the 75 acre Stranger Hills Organic farm, the oldest organic farm in Indiana. Our 1899 Farmhouse is the only residence on the entire farm. There is a 3000 acre farm to our south. The area is quiet and very private. The campsites are in a grassy walnut grove by a small creek that runs along the eastern border of the property. We have a white deer creek cabin tent on a platform there and 3 or 4 nice level campsites to the north. There is a shaded RV site at the top of a small hill with 30 amp service. We can accommodate a large RV on packed gravel with 50 amp service. the farm is located 15 minutes east of McCormicks Creek State Park. There is a composting toilet and an on demand hot shower in a small building adjacent to the campsites. There is a YMCA about five minutes East of the property. \\\

This grass camping spot is always mowed and clean. Two large pine trees provide some shade for this northside camping spot. You can enjoy nearly panoramic views of the night sky! This spot is alongside a country road. It is considered less private than the SOUTH SIDE SPOT. The SOUTH SIDE CAMPING SPOT, is for tent campers only with a smaller vehicle. It is very private and completely surrounded by woods. This spot can accommodate two tents and one or two cars. There is no view of the night sky since you are in a dense forest. Patoka lake is less than 10 minutes away ( boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, biking). Holiday World ( an amusement park) is about 30 minutes away.
