There are dogs, community Cats, and a Cat Sanctuary Rescue called The Black Sheep Cat-tuary. There is plenty of parking for small RVs and Camping Vans, Cars, etc. There is fresh delicious, clean and tested well water, 2 fire pits (lots of wood available for purchase, or just pick up some sticks around the property from the shade trees) There is a creek for wading in, lots of cats to love on, and places for hammocks, Electric outlets available to charge a cell phone, or other devices, and a simple compost toilet. Always a great stay at Havendale Farm. I've stayed many times in the car camping spot and this time stayed with a friend, so we booked two spots. Truly there's no bad location when you stay here! You can park in the shade of a tree and enjoy the rustle of leaves for the night. Dave is great and always very welcoming. This is my favorite place to stay when I'm in the Indianapolis area. Highly recommended.

A wonderful quiet farm stay as I was passing through. Lovely setup and I wandered around talking to the horses and the chickens and the turkeys (they didn’t answer back!) I would definitely stay again, and for longer if I was going to see some of Indianapolis. Thanks for a nice stopover at your farm!

Great camping spot! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Spot is beautiful and private! We stayed by the pavilion & pond. The property is big so I imagine even if others are there, there would still be plenty of privacy. The bathroom (on the back side of the barn) was nice to have - 3 min walk. Kids fished & caught/released a bunch, hung the hammocks, made dinner/breakfast using the grate over the fire. Would love to come back again!

Tina and Ron are awesome hosts with a great location - just far enough off the beaten path, but still convenient for travelers passing through for one night on a road trip. I was a same day reservation and communication was top notch. I knew before I arrived that I had made the right choice. Ron met me upon my arrival and directed me to my site. Had a wonderful night’s sleep in a peaceful location. I will definitely stay here again when I am passing through this part of Indiana. Thanks for a great stay!

This spot is easy to find and ~5 minutes off the interstate in a quiet neighborhood. My husband and I and our two dogs stopped here for an overnight rest on our cross-country drive. The camp spot was nice and level for our rooftop tent. Port-a-potty is very clean and it’s nice to have a spot to wash hands. It was peaceful and calming to watch the horses graze as the sun went down. Dave is extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. We could hear some noise from the interstate in the distance but it was not intrusive and we were very comfortable here. Would recommend and would stay again!

We had a great time at Havendale Farm. Dave was very friendly. The land was flat and perfect for pitching a tent on. The portapotty was exceptionally clean and the handwashing station was a nice touch. I would recommend this location!

Dave and Tara were exceptional hosts. Very communicative and spot on with the directions to get to their place. The property is just lovely, and the weeping willow lined lane was so welcoming! We parked on a level gravel spot and hook up to 30 amp was easy. Plenty of land to walk our dog, and there was a neat trail in the woods at the end of their property. We ordered a blueberry cobbler and oh my goodness was it ever good! Highly recommend their place!
