Angell Creek Campground is located in beautiful Island Park Idaho. It has been in our family for over 50 years. We are surrounded by pine trees, and it is a quiet place to escape the noise of the world. It is a place to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Our campsite is close to West Yellowstone and only 30 mi. from Yellowstone National Park. Island Park has a lot to offer including: boating, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, trail riding and much more. All of these activities are within a few minutes away. We are in close proximity to highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. We have a very large parking area where you can park trailers and vehicles. We have about 3 acres and have 5 RV spots. We have a central sheltered picnic area and a big fire pit on each RV spot. Each pad is rented at $40 a night with provided 50 and 20 amp service with an adapter provided for 30 amp service. No water or sewer is provided. There is a porta potty on location from mid May until end of October. Must pack out all of your trash or be a accessed a cleaning fee per lot. Although wanting to keep this campground in a primitive state, we will be adding a few updates in coming years. Pets allowed on a leash only.

Know that by staying here, you are helping preserve this small piece of natural beauty in Idaho. It may not be the biggest preserve, but you have to start somewhere. Come stay a night! Learn more about this land: Come to our riverside getaway at Teton Corners. This 3 acre peninsula into the Teton River provides amazing trout fishing right from your tent door (licenses issued just 1 mile down the road). This gorgeous nature area is minutes from town, with easy access to HWY20 and HWY33. Deer, moose, bald eagles and osprey frequent the area year round, as well as beaver, waterfowl and night owls. RV dumps right down the road, as well as a 27 hole golf course, if that's your thing. Or just relax, dip your feet in the Teton River and listen to the water pass by. Just south of its older brother, this land spans Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho, and is a crucial spot for supporting caribou populations. None of the animals here are bashful: bison, moose, deer, mountain lions, falcons, elk, and even black bears abound! Beautiful to snap shot from a distance. Just south of the forest, Bear Lake is a fun spot to take a dip after you hike one of Caribou’s dozens of peaks (Mead Peak and Hawks Peak have gorgeous views, as does Big Elk Mountain at the northern tip of the park). At the south end, you’ll find campgrounds, fast flowing creeks, and the Minnetonka Cave at St. Charles Canyon. This is a site to see, but it stays 40 degrees down there all year so be sure to pack a coat, even if you’re sweating above ground. When you’re done, stop in the charming small town of Montpelier, surrounded by rolling hills and full of retro grocers and kitschy eateries. Yum!

The A-frame was cute and cozy with a beautiful view of the river. It was nice to have the port-a-potty on site. Keep in mind the cabin is not heated and Utah was quite cold in October, but there was plenty of warm bedding inside. Thomas was a helpful and communicative host. I would recommend this stay !

My husband and I where on our way to WY and it was getting late. All of a sudden it started to snow, we need a place to go for the night. I found Angel camp and it was so beautiful, and to our surprise it had electric hook ups so we even had heat thru night. I did need to call to ask a question and the host answered first ring and was very helpful and kind. This is such a wonderful camp sight. I would love to stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Teton Corners. Thomas was very helpful and gave detailed directions. He responded quickly to all out questions. The campground is not large, but it's a very pretty little out of the way spot right next to a little river. It was well kept and the portable toilet was clean and stocked. I would totally stay here again. :)

Wonderful site with wonderful hosts. My partner and I stayed here 2 nights at Site 1. We were greeted by our host, Terri. She was amazing to talk with! She directed us to the spot we’d be staying at. It was a pull through spot, and it was a level spot. All of the spots are very cared/maintained. Good spaces in between sites. Although we didn’t use many of the amenities, there was cornhole, volleyball courts and other things to enjoy at the campground. The hosts and the campground exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back and stay to explore more of the surroundings area.

2 nights at Yellowstone Lakeside RV Park

Tent camping sites were clean, in the shade, and well maintained. Power and water was available and convenient. Parking was easy. Close to the bathhouse/hot tub, laundry mat, and playground. Very peaceful except the occasional kids walking through the campsite (which management addressed without me saying anything when they noticed) or late night camper driving over to use the bathroom (headlights shining into tent). Bathrooms were nice and exceptionally clean. Sherrie and her team do an excellent job and clearly take pride in their work. Better than most hotels. Laundry facilities were also well kept and decently priced. Initially the power at my campsite was not working and Terry immediately went to work rectifying the issue, furnishing an extension cord for my work laptop until the problem could be found. Ended up being a quick and easy fix, but regardless felt very taken care of as a guest and feel that he went above and beyond to make sure that I was provided good service and had a comfortable stay. Both Sherrie and Terry were outstanding staff members. I enjoyed my conversations with them and felt that they are kind people that care about the park, its guests, the quality of experience and services provided, and taking pride in their work. I’ve worked as a campground host for forest service and maintenance for state parks and can honestly say they not only did their jobs well, they exceeded expectations. Would come back and stay just to visit with them.

Absolutely stunning campground. Wish we could have stayed longer. About an hour drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone. The hosts were so friendly and even had change for us when we needed to do laundry. Bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Thank you!
