There are no hookups. There's lawn chairs and a fire pit and BBQ. Non-barking pets are ok on leash only. Please back into assigned site 1, 2 or 3. The 132 Main St. property is accessible from the alley. Enter alley from North 1st St. Sites are half way down the alley. It's the gravel lot with the boondocker sign.

The Sawtooth Monkey is a fictional character who lives in the Sawtooth mountains in Idaho, this creature is a crossbreed of a salmon and baby Bigfoot. Breeding and divine intervention took place circa 1989 when the 1989 fire hit the SF region of the Payette river. Baby Bigfoot had no where to go but the river, he was saved by a school of salmon who by Deus ex machina and the Idaho river God, Beeraspirits transformed Bigfoot and the Alpha 15 pound papa salmon into the Sawtooth Monkey. When SM hit puberty he developed a skin condition and an appetite for coconuts. He is currently friendly but a nuisance, because of his skin problems he is known for stealing ointment, lotions and sunscreen. Also, because of his love for coconuts, he is known for steal those too. Should you confront or come in contact with this elusive creature, please don't feed him anything but coconuts.

Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house.
So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really.
Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. Camp Tamarack is located 2 miles south of Tamarack Resort, where West Mountain Road turns into gravel. From your grassy campsite, enjoy the views of Lake Cascade to the East, and the Summit of Tamarack Resort to the North. Close to National Forest, hiking, boating, fishing, mountain biking, hunting, birding and wildlife watching. Nestled among a nice recreating neighborhood, the sites have a fire pit for your use. This dry camp is perfect for self-contained campers- bring water and whatever you need. Take it all out with you when you go. No restrooms, power, or water are available. A free sewer dump is located at West Mountain Campground 2 1/2 miles away. Tents allowed only if being used in conjunction with a camper, or a self contained toilet is brought. Well behaved pets allowed, please clean up after them. Quiet time after 10pm. There is no wifi, but cell service works well for most carriers. Each site can accommodate up to 6 guests and 3 vehicles. A towed trailer is considered a vehicle. Plenty of room for your toys. If you have a larger group, consider reserving another site. There is a third overflow site that will be opened during peak times or as needed for large groups. Contact the host to reserve the whole campground for large groups, reunions, or weddings. Enjoy all Tamarack Resort has to offer, launch your boat at nearby Poison Creek Marina, and explore the quaint town of Donnelly. A little further drive will get you to Gold Fork Hot Springs, Jug Mountain for golfing and mountain biking, and to McCall. Reach out with any questions.
