The yurt was erected in 2022 and in 2023 we added all the rooms and beautiful woodwork inside. It is on a Kiln Dried Tongue and Groove decking. Yurts are designed to withstand cold winters and this one is no exception. Temperature Control: The decking is insulated underneath to help with the cold winters. When the sun is out on a warm day the yurt will heat up nicely through the dome and can be cooled by opening the windows, the dome, and running the ceiling fan. Also keeping the outside windows up keeps the heat out if you get to hot. the yurt is equipped with a mini-split w/remoted, allowing personalized temperature control. Kitchen: We have everything you need to cook a meal at your home away from home. Refrigerator w/freezer, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, Keurig, and toaster oven. Have all the basics from napkins, plates, silverware, cooking supplies, spices, flour, sugar etc. Don’t feel like cooking then head down to the local bar & restaurant for a nice meal, drink, and meet some locals. Living Room: Inside is a quaint living area with a couch where guests can gather, unwind, and enjoy the yurt!. There is no TV but feel free to use the wireless internet for your own devices. Great place, mama kitty gave us a great warm welcome and even spent the night with us in the tipi. They do have a propane heater for the tipi but you have to light it with a lighter so keep that in mind for cold nights! (We didn’t bring a lighter and wished we did because it got pretty cold)

Spot was a beautiful little oasis in the middle of Idaho plains. Was so cool to be nestled in farmland next to a streamer and actual green grass. Tyler went above and beyond to accommodate me and when we did get a chance to meet he was genuine, kind and gave me tomatoes and an onion from his garden! You can tell he loves hosting and sharing his beautiful space. Seriously grateful that I got to stay and experience it. Feels cinematic really. Thanks Tyler!

Cute, safe spot for a quick overnight stop. No issues finding the location and setting up on the designated tent spot. We were able to squeeze a 4 person and a 2 person tent on the ‘designated’ established site. Super clean bathroom. Host was very respectful and courteous. Other reviews say the highway noise wasn’t noticeable but it was for us. Still didn’t take away from our experience.

the site was gorgeous!! it was easy to find, close to the freeway, but not close enough to be kept up all night by the sound of cars passing by. tyler was very easy to contact, and met me outside to show me around. the porta potty was very clean, and stocked well with toilet paper.

The yurt was super clean and had everything you could need! Maybe bring some chairs to sit outside to look at the stars, but otherwise amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer and explored more. Just know everything is a minimum hour drive except Idaho city. Will not regret staying here!

Great spot! Good views of the city and the sunrise, with clear stars at night. It looks close to the interstate on the map, but because the site is on the other side of the tower hill, I could barely hear any traffic out there. Our first night there it was windy, so bring stakes for your tent (we did and had no issues), and the second night was very peaceful. Tyler was a good host and made sure we were set up for success.
