What an awesome experience this place was! The property is gorgeous. Matthew and his family came and greeted us upon arrival. Very nice people! There were paddle boards to take on the lake, firewood all stocked up, and even had a black stone hooked up to the grill. Property was clean and well kept. Definitely will be coming back as we got engaged here!

Weekend Trip to Chocolate Moose Marina and Chapel
The pictures don’t do this location justice, it’s simply perfect. The closeness of the water, the docks, the paddle-boards and raft— the fire pit- they’re all incredible. But what really makes this spot amazing are the owners, Matt and Tamara. They’re amazing! Super friendly, incredibly helpful, and you can tell they genuinely care about your experience. They greeted us when we arrived, helped us get settled, and made us feel right at home from the start. Everything about this location is exactly what you’d want in a getaway. We’ll be booking our 3rd trip next year!

Truly quiet and peaceful. Restrooms and cabin were clean and all set up. My son and I slept in a tent down by the water and the girls slept in the cabin. Plenty of shade and a nice fire pit stocked with wood. We will be back again soon!

A beautiful property...it was the perfect location for us to try our first 'boondocking' weekend. Very quiet and serene, completely off-grid. Corlene and her husband were gracious hosts. The only thing I would say is, ask Corlene or her husband where the best place is to pull in...suggested areas weren't marked and we were worried about swampy areas. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area.
