The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. The campsite is perched up near the large pond about 1000 feet off the main road (which you may see 5 cars a day on or the occasional horseback rider). And not to worry, there is a decent driveway that will bring you within 100 feet of the campsite, a pickup or 4 wheel drive is not required. ! The pond is an oasis for passing ducks and geese and other wildlife. Once you've established yourself enjoy a nice walk around the pond, cast a line off the pedal boat (catch and release), or enjoy a picnic on the island with the ducks and geese. Peace and quiet is all to be had here (other than the occasional bull frog croaking.) But if adventure is what you seek, adventure you will have! Known as the gateway to Hells Canyon, there are many things to do within 5 minutes to 1 hours drive. Drop into Midvale to hit the Weiser River Trail via hiking, horseback, or mountain bike (electric bikes too). Embark on an off road adventure with your UTV/ATV, or motorcycle up the nearby mountains to Sturgill Peak Lookout where you can see 100 miles in every direction. Schedule and excursion in Hells Canyon (deeper than the grand canyon) or take a dip at the local Mundo hot spring. Fishing and floating can be had at the near by Weiser river or boating at Crane Creek Reservoir. Or maybe you're looking for a base camp for hunting season. Again, the recreational possibilities are endless! Bring your supplies and stay at camp or take a short bike ride/drive into town for some food at the Coffee Cabin or a drink at the local tavern. You can ride recreational vehicles on most of the local roads if you choose to bring them, just be respectful of the local laws and courteous to the neighbors who live on dirt roads by keeping the dust down when you pass by. No riding off trails/roads, especially on our property! Please bring life jackets or appropriate floatation devices for children who plan to play or swim in the pond. Explore the property and feel free to pick up wood and branches from the ground for the fire pit, but please do not remove or cut down any trees, and keep fires contained in the fire pit and do not burn when it's windy. Bill’s property and the surrounds are great and the location is truly fabulous! Plentiful parks and open spaces adjacent and nearby. Great place, mama kitty gave us a great warm welcome and even spent the night with us in the tipi. They do have a propane heater for the tipi but you have to light it with a lighter so keep that in mind for cold nights! (We didn’t bring a lighter and wished we did because it got pretty cold)

The space was super clean and well maintained. It was nice location to hang out in the evening. I think we came a little late in the season for the pond, as it was quite low, but my son still had a bit of fun on the paddle boat. We did head down to Mann Reservoir (15min away), so we could bust out our paddle boards for a bit.

This was my second time here and it’s just as clean, quiet, and beautiful as last time. My dog loves the smells and freedom to roam. The place has so many little extras like the solar lights for paths at night that make it even more special. I came to try to learn some night sky photography and it didn’t diss along with stars! Spot was a beautiful little oasis in the middle of Idaho plains. Was so cool to be nestled in farmland next to a streamer and actual green grass. Tyler went above and beyond to accommodate me and when we did get a chance to meet he was genuine, kind and gave me tomatoes and an onion from his garden! You can tell he loves hosting and sharing his beautiful space. Seriously grateful that I got to stay and experience it. Feels cinematic really. Thanks Tyler!

Catherine is a very Fine Host. And her place is accommodating and roomy. She also has a water hose that's long enough to reach your Trailer. Which was nice. Although not level, experienced RV'ers,(unlike me) can remedy that. It's close to the street, which doesn't bother me a lot.(LA Traffic) She has a Beautiful Place. And was very close to where I had something to do. Thank You.

We enjoyed our stay here with a few caveats. It was easy to find, had gorgeous views and Kelly was very informative and responsive. Now, the caveats. The space felt a bit neglected.. Lots of weeds that needed cleared out. And, although he mentions it in the description, we didn’t appreciate the camera on the site. All that being said, we would likely stay again if we are back in the area.
