1 night at Mini Acres Farm

Great place, friendly hosts. We brought our two horses and they love the pasture. We ended up camping under the trees and took advantage of the fire pit.

2 nights at Osprey Glade

Amazing stay with Kelci! She even volunteered to immediately call us when we had questions about the electricity. There are lots of mosquitoes, so just plan for that before you go. We had deep woods spray and a citronella candle and started a fire which seemed to decrease their impact significantly.

2 nights at Little Creek

Parking is in a dirt backyard next to a cornfield, which I thought was neat. It looks like they were in the process of planting new trees to add shade. There is a large common grass area with a fire pit that can be shared with other campers. They have a bathroom in a shed. That may sound off-putting, but it was very clean, nice, and unique!! Also, without hook-ups, it was convenient to have a bathroom on site. We were in the area to visit friends so we didn't spend a lot of time at the site during the day. It was quiet and peaceful at night. Kimberly made sure to call and check in on us after we arrived. She was super friendly.

Weekend Trip to All in Ranch

This was our first time visiting Idaho, and this Hipcamp site was such a beautiful place to stay for a one-night stop. The property was charming, and we loved getting to see all the adorable animals. The port-a-potty was very clean, which we really appreciated. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We were even able to buy some of their farm-fresh eggs before we left — we ate them the same day, and they were absolutely delicious! While it’s not the most private spot (you are set up behind someone’s house), it was a great, peaceful place to stop for the night. We’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a convenient and pleasant overnight stay.

Weekend Trip to Osprey Glade

We had a great two day trip to Osprey Glade. It was nice to have full hookups in the woods. It was in a neighborhood but it was very private like other reviewers have stated. We loved being so close to the Boulder Creek beach. We will definitely be back!!!

Great spot only 10 minutes off the highway. Great for us - only used it 1 night while traveling through the area. Houses somewhat nearby but lots of trees & shrubs for privacy. Fire pit, shore-power & well if needed. Easy walk to Boulder Creek Day-use area on the shores of Cascade reservoir. Closest grocery stores are in McCall or Cascade, so plan accordingly.

Weekend Trip to Garden Valley River Access Campsite

We loved this spot on the river! Gorgeous views and access to river. It is very close to road with noise, so might not be for everyone. The lower Campspot (not accessible by RV) was private and felt more secluded and less noise.

Great little spot! Drew was great, engaging and fun to talk to. Alpacas were cute and very interesting to watch them interact…even had a baby alpaca born while I was there…quiet and very welcoming… Will go back when in the area again

The site was gorgeous and right next to the river. Great communication from the host too. The site is close to a road so there was occasional noise from passing cars.

Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper.
