Beautiful views of the Idaho sunsets from the hill overlooking Glenns Ferry. 34 acres of peace and quiet to enjoy local wildlife, do stargazing, hike around, or just use as a base to explore the local area, go fishing, hunting, or visit the winery in town.  Learn more about this land: Campsite is a 4 acre pasture with a small grove of trees that holds a prepared firepit as well as a rope hammock and small sitting area. Lots of birds and wildlife are around (owls, hawks, hummingbirds, deer, endless quail and rabbits, the occasional coyote or fox) and with easy access to the town and I-84 for exploring.  Picnic table and horseshoe pit now located at campsite. Second firepit with cook grill now available for larger groups.  We are just a few minutes drive from town where there is a grocery store, several bars, a golf course, Y-Knot winery, and fishing on the Snake River. This is a great location for exploration of the area, birding, fishing, or hunting up near Bennett Mountain. Only 20 min drive from Bruneau Sand Dunes. We are also very conveniently located off of I-84 for road-trippers passing through. Depending on the winds, there are some constant interstate sounds. It is generally fairly quiet and makes white noise but is something to be aware of if that sort of sound bothers you. You may bring your car into the pasture (mindful of vertical irrigation pipes when driving in pasture) and camp anywhere you like in this pasture (recommend near the grove so you are close to firepit).  LGBTQIA+ friendly, Pet friendly.  We are a tent and car camping only site as we do not have facilities for a trailer and we the pasture is on a slight slope so will not be able to find a level spot for a trailer.  We do have 34 acres and the property is all available to hike on ... if you would like to hike up the hill (there is no direct car access up there) it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area and night sky but can be quite windy.  I have an observatory on the property and can set up the telescope for tours of the night sky available as an add on (weather dependent) as long as I have a couple of days notice. Shoot me a message if you are interested as I currently have this add-on turned off due to wildfire smoke blown into the area from Oregon. When it has cleared enough to resume sky tours I will turn the add-on back on. We have firewood available and will try to have a small supply at the firepit, but if you would like extra or want to guarantee some available please add it on. Friday Night Lights
Anna created a gem of a place to pitch our tent and pitch some horseshoes. There are little nooks carved out of willow patches, complete with a sitting chair here, a fire pit there. Hummingbirds visit the pedaled feeder and a wide hammock waited for us in another little nook, to relax in and gaze at the sky. The real treat was the high school football game that started not long after we arrived. The announcer called the plays and we watched from afar as the two teams battled it out with an admonishment of the importance of sportsmanship and collegiality. It was an j expected and fun extra in our stay. Thanks again Anna!

WOW! A beautiful hidden gem.
Perfect. Serene. Relaxing!!!! This is such a hidden gem. Our two dogs were able to safely roam the lush pasture while we worked from our campsite here for two days. They LOVED it.. Almost as much as us! The set up is so thoughtful and the hosts here are so kind! They answered every message within minutes and accommodated us in every way possible. We can’t thank this host enough! We had great cell service for working on the road and the stargazing was incredible as well- just the cherry on top. Would absolutely stay again! Thank you!

Camping with our dogs and van
We made a last minute reservation to stay at Anna's place. I am so glad we did, it was a wonderful place to stay with our dogs. We stayed in our sprinter van and there was a perfect sized, almost level spot to park! We leveled with some blocks and it was perfect! I would definitely stay again!

Anna and her family could not have been kinder hosts! Not only were they helpful and communicative, but they’ve obviously put a lot of love and care into this roadside getaway. For anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay the night on a road trip, this place was perfect.

Best mid trip camp spot ever used!
Absolutely perfect for a night’s stop mid trip. Same price or better than if we would have gone to an RV camp park right off the highway but with more amenities than I have seen at some campgrounds and no other people! Just minutes from the highway but also super close if you have time to go into town. That spot was absolutely perfect! They had a picnic bench, a fire pit, potable water jug, area to set up camp chairs in an alcove, a net style hammock in an alcove, and a little "toilet" (seat with trash bag and bins with toilet paper and more trash bags) privatish area. They even have a mister for hot days. After driving for hours in from Oregon laying on the hammock looking up at the stars in a cozy alcove of trees was positively glorious!

Sweet tent site in Glenn's Ferry.
Anna has set up a really cute camp spot in a little cottonwood tree Grove (I think cottonwoods). Picnic table, potable water, potty, fire ring. I was alone, and it felt very safe and private. Big sky. Directions were perfect and easy, Anna was very responsive. I would come back!

Anna's site is picturesque, with thoughtfully designed camping "nooks" and an outdoor bathroom that allows some privacy. Amazing views, and she kindly left water for me as well as checked in throughout my stay. Only downside is that there is some noise from the highway and trains passing through. Would very much recommend!

Beautiful space with nice views overlooking the town of Glenns Ferry and the Snake River valley. The site has a great thicket of trees for some shade and privacy. Great place to spend the night on the road, or stay a few nights away from the city. The night sky is pretty awesome as there is minimal light pollution. Anna is a great and responsive host!

Easy camping off the highway
Super cute, quick access of the highway, ample space, and amenities (hammock/flat spots/fire pit/games/bucket toilet). We would definitely stay here again while traveling through the area.

My kids loved this stop the most out of our 4 hipcamps. The camping area was well maintained and seemed to be a lot of cool spots to hang out. We had a great time. It had a small town feel and great stargazing! Thank you very much!

We parked our camper van here for the night and really enjoyed this spot! Her directions on getting to the site were very clear and we got in no problems. Like 3 minutes off the interstate- so convenient yet still felt very remote. So peaceful!

This was the perfect spot to stop for a night to break up road trip driving. It was conveniently close to the freeway and not hard to find. There is a cute little fairy garden, some fire pits, and a hammock nestled in the trees. I wish I had a more leisurely timeline so that I could have spent a few more hours just relaxing there.

Great stop just off I-84
Perfect stop on our road trip! A nice hammock, fire pit, and place to potty in private in the trees. Easy instructions. We enjoyed dinner nearby in Bliss and enjoyed the bakery in town on our way out. Highly recommend!
