Each cabin and glamping tent sites have electricity, minifridge, queen size bed and heat. Portable toilets and a community outdoor shower on 700ft of riverfront. Access to some of the best trout fishing in the U.S. is just steps from your stay. Mountain views with nesting Osprey. Elk and deer also wander the property. Horseback riding and boat rentals are available nearby. One-hour drive to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Teton Park, and two hours to Yellowstone. Also attractions in our valley are Falls creek falls, an assume view just steps from your car you can stand on top of a wide spread waterfall dropping into the snake river. Just a couple miles from camp is Palisades creek trailhead, a wonderful hike along a wide creek through the forest with multiple foot bridges crossing the creek and leading to 2 mountain lakes. we have seen a family of moose at the lower lake 2 out of 3 times we hiked it. A trail to the right just before the lake brings you to an out cropping of rocks giving you an elevated view. And of course Palisades reservoir, a 20 mile long stretch of water is just 3 miles from camp. The dam keeps the water flow of the snake at optimal flow all season.

Two 20' diameter year-round yurts with themed decor-- each sleeps 4 in one queen and two twins with all bed and bath linens, plus a very well-stocked kitchen, and a firepit, pergola, picnic table and Char-griller charcoal BBQ outside.
Camper trailer-- 16' vintage camper Little Buffy that sleeps 2 and has a mini-kitchenette and guests use the Loo-uvre Restroom/Shower House close by.
New to the Lodge is Adirondack-style "The Bunkie" that sleeps 6 or 7 plus has a desk, microwave and fridge.
All bed and bath linens are provided in all of our rooms. Firepits are a-plenty!
Our Inn also has great tent sites, plus both 30 amp and 50 amp RV/Camper sites with water and electric, a firepit and picnic table each, plus a fee dump station. We are currently planning/building another shower/restroom house and a laundry mat. There is a fee dump station on site.
With over ten acres of property to play at and stroll, your stay will be one of fun, peace and quiet. Our RV & Camp is fun! We have our famous Borrow Barn with loads of complementary activities including a 9 hole disc golf course with maps/disc/scorecards, free pedal boats, Little Free Library #69967, volleyball, tetherball, badminton, board games and more, plus our cruiser bicycles in our Bike Corral are for guests to enjoy on property also. Children must be watched always and very closely-- enjoy being with your children on the property.

We are located in the Heise-Kelly Canyon of southeast Idaho with fabulous sunrises and sunsets.
We are very close to hiking, hot springs, rapelling, 200+ miles of ATV and SxS trails, golf, mini-golf, a driving range, skiing, ice cream parlor and two restaurants, and the mighty Snake River corridor right across the road. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and less than two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). We live on 48 acres out in the country, but we are only 12–15 minutes from the town of Orofino. We have five beautiful sleeper cabins (with TVs and mini splits), and a bathroom/shower house located 10–20 feet from the cabins. There is also a game area with horseshoes and an archery lane, as well as a timber-framed gazebo for gathering and relaxing. These 5 cabins fit 10 ppl. If more people are in your group, we have a few other options to add more accommodations if we have enough time to prepare; ask for details!
The cabins sit on approximately 4–5 acres of the property.
We use these cabins for about nine months out of the year, so they are only available during the summer months of June, July, and August.
So welcome to your stay—we’re glad you’re here.
Each cabin offers a comfortable space to rest, while the shared outdoor areas give you room to gather, relax, and enjoy the surroundings.
This is a place where the sunrises and sunsets are incredible, the air feels different, and the pace naturally slows down.
It’s common to see wildlife throughout the property—deer, elk, and wild turkeys often pass through, especially in the early morning and evening. Keep an eye out and take it all in—it’s part of what makes this place special.

Granite Creek Ranch is a 4th generation working cattle and horse ranch established in 1921 operated by the same family for over a century. Meadows, crop fields and forested mountains cover the ranch. 230 pairs of cows and two dozen horses call it home along with herds of Elk, Mule and Whitetail Deer, Moose, Coyotes, Redtail Hawks, Bald Eagles, Cranes and many other bird species. This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek.
This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is no longer off grid, but if the power does go out, it's a great place to be.. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)!
Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi.
There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever!
We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire.

It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake.
I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid!
If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

Spend your days exploring nearby Farragut State Park (7 miles), Round Lake State Park (15 miles), Sandpoint (20 miles), Coeur d’Alene (30 miles), or Silverwood Theme Park (9 miles). There are multiple dining options from breakfast to dinner within 7-10 miles.
We are generally available and on-site 24/7 for any issues, questions and or problems that may need solved. In the case you forget anything at all……we can find it, fix it or provide it. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Some exceptions could be accommodated for additional tent campers in the same group on a case by case basis. Please reach out if you have a special circumstance. If you see dates that you want that are blocked out feel free to get in touch, we block out some dates because we love to go camping too, we have no problem opening dates up for guests :)

Situated between Big Sky Country of Montana and the vibrant evergreen fields of Washington (which seriously look Photoshopped to the naked eye), this forest holds more than half the state’s surface waters, and wilderness vibes are guaranteed by the deer, elk, bear, caribou, and wolf populations who call this spot home. Moist maritime air comes in from the Pacific coast, and historic cabins dot the landscape. Near Spokane and the border can get busy on the weekends, but with this much acreage you can always find seclusion here. Make sure to check out at least a portion of the bikeable and walkable Hiawatha Trail—weaving 15 miles through tunnels and across high steel trestles in the Bitterroot Mountains, it’s been called one of the most scenic stretches of railroad in the country.

You could say Boise National Forest is in the tri-forest area. It is surrounded on all sides by Payette, Salmon-Challis, and Sawtooth National Forests, it is situated conveniently close to both urban fun in Boise, and limitless wilderness adventures everywhere else. Alpine tundra is dotted with evergreen forest in the green rolling hills here, topped with snow, and anchored by sparkling valley waterways. The Payette River is great for rafting, while Banks Beach and Beehive Bend are just some of the prime access points on the forest’s 250 lakes and reservoirs (Arrowrock Reservoir has surprisingly primo salmon fishing for central Idaho).
Hikers will find 500 trails, including some that lead to 360-panoramic views at fire lookouts. The ambitious should try 10,000-foot high Trinity Mountain, while more liesurely trekkers will get just as good a view at Silver Creek. As if that’s not all enough to keep you busy, there are also endless mountain biking trails, including a scenic route along Shafer Butte. You’ll have your hands full at this intersection of so many great parks!

The Space
This cabin in the woods of North Idaho is located on 5 acres of pine forest between the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountain ranges. Explore the property on leisurely walks through the pines, relax on the covered deck with outdoor space heaters and plenty of seating, or watch TV from the spacious outdoor deck.
Enjoy the west deck for nighttime stargazing and fresh mountain air while overlooking the "Swinging Moose" BBQ area.
The backyard is enclosed with chain-link fencing, allowing pets the freedom to enjoy the outdoors while you're away. The fenced area also helps separate pets from the BBQ area and the front (east) deck, so you can enjoy meals and relaxation without interruption.
Both bedrooms have direct access to the decks, allowing you to come and go without disturbing anyone else.
Guest Access
The entire upper floor of the cabin is available for guest use. The garage area below is currently unavailable; however, there is abundant parking at both the upper and lower access points to the cabin.
Other Things to Note
Guests are welcome to use the firewood provided on the east deck for both the upper and lower fire pits.
The upper fire pit is located next to the main (east) deck and offers a more intimate setting, along with the convenience of being close to the cabin.
The lower fire pit accommodates larger gatherings and is located next to the lower lawn and an enclosed, bug-free picnic area for outdoor enjoyment. We call this area the "Social Networking Site."
There is abundant space to enjoy the great outdoors on the property, with nearby opportunities for hiking, swimming, skiing, and even floating the Pack River in early summer.
The Blue Heron Restaurant is within walking distance (0.8 miles) and has a reputation as one of the best prime rib restaurants in the county.
The restaurant also features an impressive permanent stage and grounds that include playground equipment, horseshoe pits, and fabulous views of Walsh Lake and Roman Nose Peak in the Selkirk Mountains.

Little Hawk Landing is minutes away from prime hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and snowmobiling locations. The town of Deary is five miles away with a grocery store, gas stations, two coffee shops, a bakery, wine bar, and several restaurants. We are 45 minutes from the University of Idaho, and an hour from Washington State University and Lewis-Clark State College.

I had a great time with me and my dog, each day was like living in a fairy tale with critters, hummingbirds, and butterflies living their best life. If Snow White with a gaggle of gnomes walked out of the woods I wouldn’t have been surprised. Perfect place to get away from the chaos of July 4th but most importantly no service (except at the lodge) so I just turned off and watched the wind rustle trees and ran around the woods. 10/10 and will be back to try out all the season.

Weekend Trip to Twin Brook Chalets
The Jeru cabin was a fantastic stay. Super quiet, cozy, and tucked away, with a beautiful cabin and a genuinely impressive common area - a very clean and well-stocked outdoor kitchen along with outdoor shower, tub, and outhouse (with funny artwork on the walls). Solar and running water were a plus. Another couple stayed in the other cabin on the same night as us, but we had plenty of privacy and it didn’t feel crowded. It also looked like a really fun idea for a larger group to rent *both* cabins on the site and have the whole place to themselves.
Directions were clear, amenities were well labeled with usage instructions, and we had no issues navigating or checking in and out. The only thing was that there seemed to be WiFi but we couldn’t figure out how to connect and couldn’t find a password posted anywhere… but maybe we just missed it. No cell signal, so we just spent the night off grid.

1 night at The Aspen Grove Inn at Heise Bridge
I stayed in one of the cottages and I really enjoyed it for a relaxing sleep with comfortable beds. It was a good break from car camping. You are pretty far out from restaurant options, etc., so I would just plan to bring what you need for food there. They have prep places and refrigerators, etc.

Beautiful tiny home. Loved the magical river just a walk through the forest away. If you look towards the forest, it feels very private. There is a road beside the site that has neighbors driving throughout the day. There's some logs propped up for privacy but there could be more logs. There is no parking...unless it's meant to be on a slant of the side of the road but it's pretty steep and I didn't want my car in a ditch so I parked sideways half on road half on slant. Besides parking and privacy, I loved this space. Centrally located to lots of outdoorsy stuff too.

Beautiful quiet location not to far from the main road. We loved being able to have our doodles with us and they felt welcome. We loved the peaceful beautiful area. I grew up in the Rathdrum and CDA area and have loved the Careywood area and Cocolalla Lake. Lots to do nearby and still have time to relax in the cabin. The hosts make you feel welcome and answer any questions you might have. There were lots of towels, blankets and pillows. We built a fire the night we were there because it was cold outside and the cabin was warm and cozy.
