Twin Brook Chalets offers an off-grid camping and cabin experience. Nestled on a mountainside above the majestic Upper Pack River and Jeru Creek, guests can enjoy the sounds of rushing water, watch eagles soar overhead, and relax on decks or hammocks beneath the cedars. We offer two campsites, one RV site with no hookups (water is available from our artesian mountain spring), and two cabins. Starlink internet is also provided. Amenities include an outdoor shower and soaking tub, an outdoor kitchen, and fire pits at every site when burning is permitted. Fishing, hiking, swimming, foraging, hunting, and birdwatching are all accessible from the property. Come unwind and relax!

There are two rentals on the property with a shared outdoor kitchen, fancy outhouse, and firepit. Recreation is at your doorstep with kayaking, fishing, hiking, berry picking, hunting, gold panning, and just all-around adventure. This charming dry cabin features: Cozy Living Space: Relax on the comfortable sofa or enjoy a meal at the dining/gaming table on the main floor, perfect for gatherings and family fun. Loft Retreat: Upstairs, the loft offers a serene queen bed for restful nights, along with a cozy child sleeping nook that features a full-size mattress, ideal for families. Convenient Amenities: Water access is conveniently located in the outdoor kitchen, and our luxurious outhouse is just 50 feet away, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Pack Cabin @ Twin Brook Chalets is a cozy retreat located 25 minutes north of downtown Sandpoint, nestled in the Selkirk Mountains above the Upper Pack River and Jeru Creek. This off-grid, fully solar-powered cabin is ideal for nature enthusiasts. The property features two rental cabins, with shared access to an outdoor kitchen, shower area, and a unique outhouse. perfect for fishing, hiking, kayaking, swimming, hunting, fishing and relaxing. The space The Pack Cabin: This cozy retreat features a small kitchenette, refrigerator, sink, and a large sunny deck surrounded by a beautiful garden. Inside, you'll find a wood stove for warmth. The cabin operates on solar power and propane, making it eco-friendly. While large electrical devices won't function here, the accommodations are comfortable, sleeping two in the loft on a queen-sized mattress and an additional two on a queen-sized futon downstairs. Other things to note Please be aware that the Jeru Cabin at Twin Brook Chalets is located uphill, making access a key consideration for your stay. We recommend a vehicle with SUV, all-wheel drive, or four-wheel drive for the best experience, as standard cars may struggle with the terrain. No car has ever been unsuccessful in getting to the property. Rest assured, we have just purchased a dozer, and our driveway is always in great shape now, ensuring a smooth journey to your serene retreat. Enjoy your off-grid adventure with ease!

Quiet and Well Kept!
Jeru Cabin in the Upper Pack River Valley
The Jeru cabin was a fantastic stay. Super quiet, cozy, and tucked away, with a beautiful cabin and a genuinely impressive common area - a very clean and well-stocked outdoor kitchen along with outdoor shower, tub, and outhouse (with funny artwork on the walls). Solar and running water were a plus. Another couple stayed in the other cabin on the same night as us, but we had plenty of privacy and it didn’t feel crowded. It also looked like a really fun idea for a larger group to rent *both* cabins on the site and have the whole place to themselves. Directions were clear, amenities were well labeled with usage instructions, and we had no issues navigating or checking in and out. The only thing was that there seemed to be WiFi but we couldn’t figure out how to connect and couldn’t find a password posted anywhere… but maybe we just missed it. No cell signal, so we just spent the night off grid. Great spot, we certainly recommend it, and we’d love to return someday!
