At night your ears will be greeted by the forest with sounds of coqui frogs. More to be uploaded, check back often! Our tours include off the beaten path adventures ranging from sunrises and geothermal Kings baths, to prawn hunting to hikes that lead to waterfalls! Beach gear such as surf boards, boogie boards and snorkel gear is also available. There is a detailed welcome packet with a variety of mostly free but some paid must see/do activities on the island! There are a total of 4 cabins on the one acre lot. The owners are on property, other guests may or may not be here as well. There is a dog Valentine, two outdoor cats named Ghost and Tomi, and chickens/ducks. Each cabin has a queen mattress. We rent both cabins out for larger groups. It is about a 30-40 minute drive from us 🌊 ☀️ 🌋 We are at 1880ft elevation so it can get chilly at night. Winters are also rainy season so if traveling to the Big Island in the winter, I suggest some light layers for warmth, a raincoat and rain boots.

Sea Spray Garden is a little piece of tropical paradise, beautiful 7 acres right on the ocean. We enjoyed fresh bananas and avocados daily off the trees. It really offers all the extra amenities you are lacking when traveling around in a camper van. A luxurious pool, hot tub, clean bathroom and lovely shower. Thank you so much for being such gracious hosts and sharing such an amazing space.

This property is stunning! This was such an amazing way to see this part of the island. Beautiful tropical grounds with designated areas for camping or rving. Private driveway leads you to the pool and hot tub with the most breathtaking views. The location was convenient to South Point, VNP and Hilo. We enjoyed the sounds of the frogs at night and slept peacefully under the stars. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for an extra night. The host was so kind and friendly, would definitely recommend.

Our favorite place to escape to! Beautiful landscape with fruit trees and flora. The 5 pups running freely might be our favorite part, we have yet to memorize all their names. It’s so nice to bring our pup along with us as well. Shaun and his family are the sweetest hosts. Everything is cleanly and well kept. New trees to see with every visit. We left with two giant avocados and smiles all around. Our family calls it heaven on earth. Till next time! Aloha

Super cool place to stay for the night or X amount of days, loved how open the place was and the bathroom plus shower was amazing. The rear side of the house had an awesome cliff overlook to watch the waves crash against the rocks, would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if I visited big island again.

We live on island and are always looking for great places to camp with small kids. This place is it! The property is well maintained and large that even with a couple other groups camping the same weekend we had our own space and didn't notice neighbors. Our group loves dogs and it was so fun to play with and swim in the pool with the 4 friendly dogs on the property. Bring firewood as there are firepits in each spot. We met Donna and Shawn and they were so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We are definitely planning on coming back, thank you!
