Blue Dragon Hot Yoga is a Private Membership Association offering preparation and support for the transformation of a lifetime! We offer daily Hot Yoga classes, 1-4 week Yoga Immersion programs, and yearly retreats.
As a retreat space, we often host guests who are on cleanses and/or dieta, so it is of utmost priority to keep the energy on the land pure and clear. Therefore, there is no smoking of any kind, alcohol consumption, or taking of plant medicine while on site. We ask that you show up with your full presence, without the influence of any other energies. We have quiet hours before 7:30 am and after 7:30 pm to honor the retreat atmosphere. Wi-Fi hours are from 7 am to 8 pm; please let us know if you need the Wi-Fi outside of these hours. We encourage you to leave your devices off as much as possible to receive from the healing frequency of the Earth.
Blue Dragon Hot Yoga is an also permaculture homestead featuring many hugelkulture garden beds growing staple foods like taro, pumpkin, cassava, sweet potato, and local greens. We have many young fruit trees in the ground and are blessed to have some mature trees currently producing banana, papaya, rollenia, & avocado. In addition to growing food, we are also raising many animals and two children! You will see the girls up early in the morning playing with our three temple cats.
We are committed to living in harmony with the land, and as such we are mostly off-grid and catch our own water. We sort all of our trash meticulously for recycling. Currently plastic is NOT recycled on this island, so our Kuleana (responsibility) is to buy as little plastic as possible. We use only biodegradable and eco-friendly soaps, shampoo, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. It’s a great experience in taking small actions to show our love to the ’āina (the land).

The cabin is a single room with a queen sized bed. There is a covered outdoor minimalist kitchen that includes a refrigerator, propane camp stove, hot and cold sink, filtered bottled water and outdoor seating. Please note that we are off-grid, so there is no microwave oven. Attached to the cabin is an outdoor hot shower on one side and a private composting toilet on the other side. Solar provides electricity for the refrigerator and lamp only. There are no outlets available for high energy use such as hairdryers. Our house is approximately 200ft away with palms and mango trees growing between our house and the cabin.
Electric fencing surrounds the entire driveway and building compound. It keeps our local feral pig friends from destroying our driveway and garden area.
Parking is provided next to the cabin.

We have electricity and lighting indoors, but there are no streetlights, because our neighborhood values stargazing, which is amazing here!

Jeff was an awesome host sharing his 'living the dream' spot. He was flexible about timing, super generous in his hospitality and refreshingly ecologically and socially conscious. It was wonderful to witness and experience being in such a low throughout mini homestead with all the needed amenities. In the morning it was sweet to share meditation time and fresh orange juice from his trees. I recommend meeting this wise, kind, and humble resident of the Island full of good cheer, great stories, and offering a peaceful spot from which you can hear ocean waves all eve. Thanks for a grounding place to sleep for our last eve on the island Jeff!

Simone was a warm, welcoming host. She was flexible about my shifting time of arrival, explained all of the ecologically conscious systems, gave a tour so I understood the layout, and was super friendly. What is happening at this site is really good medicine and I wholeheartedly recommend this place for folks looking for an ecologically and socially conscious place to stay when visiting Hawaii.
