Kahuna Banyan View Private Bath
Truly a sanctuary
Our stay at Banyan was one of our favorite parts of our time in Hawaii. We adored the attention to detail in the space, which was beautiful and relaxing. There is an incredible view from the sanctuary and the lanai. The pool and common areas were pristine and welcoming, and we enjoyed wandering the grounds. Everyone there was so kind and accommodating. I hope we get the chance to visit again.

Highlight of the trip!
The Manta Ray suite was perfect. It had everything you could want or need, and more. Including a hot tub, pool, sauna, spacious outdoor kitchen & living room, perfect balcony, and welcoming hosts. Even more so, it’s situated in a nice secluded road, surrounded by lovely people, houses, and environment.

Loved the ocean view and privacy from my lanai.
Wonderful suite with a huge shower.
Great amenities, salt water pool, spa and infrared sauna with the outdoor shower was awesome.
Community kitchen and living spacious and everything you need.
I will be coming back.
Oh, the Farm Tour with Benjamin was fun, educational and tasty.

Soul Replenishing ♥️
The moment we walked through the doors at the banyan tree sanctuary, our spirits were filled with peace and contentment! The beautiful bright colors filled our hearts with happiness. The other guests and residents (including the kitties) were welcoming and enhanced the environment. Benjamin played Beatles and Grateful Dead songs for is while we made meals in the refreshing and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed mouth watering fresh fruit from the farm, cooled off in the pool during the day, and star glazed from the hot tub at night. We strolled around the farm and took in all the beauty. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't pass it up!!

Banyan Tree Sanctuary is a gem. It is quiet, peaceful, and homey. It is just 15 minutes away from the airport and yet we felt like we were deep into the province. We felt so at home. Rae and Ben were so welcoming from the moment we arrived. Will definitely stay again.

Tree Sanctuary - soul connecting
Our stay was short yet incredibly sweet! Exceptionally warm and welcoming hosts. Rae ensured all the details were in place for our late check in. Being this was our first time to Hawaii that was worth its weight in gold to help us feel secure! Our room was vintage style, clean and equipped with essentials of home away from home. Beach equipment was available to use on our outings which again so wonderful as we didn’t know where to rent.
There was fresh coffee, fruit and veggies off the land and macadamI nuts to snack in-I’ve never eaten a banana so sweet and avocado so buttery!
Some of the people we met are there for longer stays and helped welcome us also-Janice was so sweet and helpful 💕
The property was exceptional, from the view off our private lanai and from every spot you walked or sat in! The hot tub was perfect under the moon and stars. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool however it was lovely and clean. The atmosphere was peaceful, serene with amazingly good energy which was exactly what we needed after a long battle against COvid as a frontline worker.
Lastly, Benjamin touched our hearts and souls when he sang and played his guitar during our last morning’s breakfast. Somehow he knew just what to sing which brought tears of joy and gratitude for both of us. Beautiful people beautiful property - soul correcting and connecting!

Amazing!!!
This place is exceptional. Our stay wasn’t nearly long enough and I would definitely book here again. The property is amazing and fully stocked with everything you could need. Rae even popped by and shared some delicious fresh fruit from the property with us. I can’t recommend the Banyan Tree Sanctuary more highly.

Manta Ray Suite Private Bath Lanai
Relaxing natural sanctuary
The Manta Ray Suite at the Banyan Tree Sanctuary was a beautiful, relaxing place to stay during our time in Kona.
The property is gorgeous, as is the room. Everyone we met on the property was kind and welcoming.
A few minor notes for future guests -
1. Ubers have a hard time finding the property, we often had to walk out a bit from the sanctuary to meet up with them
2. While there is no air conditioning in the room, the fans and windows provided comfortable temperatures in the room pretty much all day.
3. The suite does have windows which overlook onto community spaces, so if the blinds are not drawn there's not too much privacy in the room. We didn't have any problems with privacy during our stay, but were a bit surprised to find windows where they were when we first arrived.

Manta Ray Suite Private Bath Lanai
Quiet and secluded oasis near Kona
We felt very welcome, quiet, and relaxed- stayed only two nights in the Manta Ray room, very clean with private bath and queen bed with a nook off to the side with a small twin bed and mini fridge. Loved waking to the start of the day in the hot tub and swim in the pool. Fresh fruit was generously provided from their organic gardens, and we purchased some veggies to eat. Full kitchen for guest use. What a great atmosphere they generate with artistic touches everywhere, beautiful end of road spacious property, aloha and holistic energies... we would be happy to come back again and again. Mahalo to Ray for making sure we felt well cared for!

Magical stay in restful space
Fantastic place! Rae, and Benjamynn are fantastic hosts. The guest house, grounds, and area are simply beautiful and relaxing. It's clear they've spent 18 years pouring a lot of heart and soul into the spaces. Our kitchen pantry and fridge spaces were well organized, and there were lots of spices to cook with in the open air kitchen. There was always fresh fruit. Rae even helped me to gather fresh aloe for my sunburn, Bejamynn helped me find items I had misplaced in the kitchen, and sang us songs. The room was peaceful and the bed comfy. We would absolutely stay again.

Better than the pictures!
Better than the pictures.! They really put a lot of love and care into the property. The room had everything we needed (and extra sunscreen and aloe just in case) We were able to borrow beach equipment like snorkel gear and boards. They provided beach towels so you dont have to waste space with your own when you pack. Fresh food from the grounds every day! 10 out of 10.

It is so amazing here! The people are fantastic and so genuine and sweet. We were gifted an upgrade because of a misunderstanding online. Rae was 100% accomodating and more than fair! We spent our first Christmas away here and it was truly special. We will never forget it and I would love to stay again! Recommend to anyone!
