It is peaceful here, but also an active farming community. As an organic farm, we put alot of effort into soil building and as such, there are soft places that will be damaged by the weight of a vehicle. Staying on the driveway is best. We will guide you to where you need to go. Our road is paved, but bumpy. Each cabana is screened in 360º with views, two bunkbeds (sleeps 4), air mattresses, (Bring your own Sleeping Bag/Pillows) shelves, clothes lines on outside and lockable doors. There is no electricity in the cabanas but there are power strips available in the common area. The common area consists of a large deck with picnic tables, Wifi access (pw: pickalltheweeds), power strips for charging electronics, canopies for when it rains, a 2-burner hotplate for cooking, pots, pans, plates, utensils, cups, dry food storage and a full sized fridge with freezer. Please keep the area clean. We also offer morning Breakfast Basket options: Small basket $ - 2 Papayas, 6 bananas, 2 cups of coffee. If you are athletic, you can walk, but it is 4 miles down and 4 miles back. I recommend going early in the morning and take water. Hot water shower is propane. Bring ice for your ice chest. Bring drinking water. There is plenty of coffee and tea in the kitchenette. Boil hot water in the kettle, put cone filter with a paper filter and ground coffee inside and on top of thermos. Drip. It's delicious! This is off the grid solar and there can be days without sun, or other glitches. No wifi. I use ATandT and I understand that Verizon and Tmobile work also The panoramic ocean view is spectacular! Very peaceful and relaxing! The back 15 acres is an old Ohia forest with 500 year old trees and lots of birds. You might even see a wild goat or a wild pig. There are small caves and gorgeous rock formations. It backs up to Manuka Forest Reserve. We have beautiful furnished cabins with beds, so you don't have to pitch a tent. Pillows, blankets, fresh towels provided.

The lower 15 acres consist of many different gardens, a green house (please do not enter), multiple Food Forests, 8 Cabanas, 2 classrooms 4 showers, 3 composting toilets and a kitchen with common area. Each cabana is screened in 360º with views, two bunkbeds (sleeps 4), air mattresses, (Bring your own Sleeping Bag/Pillows) shelves, clothes lines on outside and lockable doors. There is no electricity in the cabanas but there are power strips available in the common area. The common area consists of a large deck with picnic tables, Wifi access (pw: pickalltheweeds), power strips for charging electronics, canopies for when it rains, a 2-burner hotplate for cooking, pots, pans, plates, utensils, cups, dry food storage and a full sized fridge with freezer. Please keep the area clean. We also offer morning Breakfast Basket options: Small basket $ - 2 Papayas, 6 bananas, 2 cups of coffee. Large basket $ - 4 papayas, 10 bananas, morning coffee during your stay. Please keep in mind the fruit may vary depending on what is ripe. Coffee In order to preserve water we utilize clean non-smelling composting toilets. We also have 4 hot water showers, 2 sinks and vanity areas. Please keep showers to 5 min or less, Mahalo. If you come with a 4-wheel drive vehicle you are welcome to drive farther up on to the property and park closer to your cabana, just follow the Parking signs. We loved this location. So close to lots of the activities we had planned around Kona. Also not far from restaurants and a laundromat. The room was close to the parking area. We had a little decking where we could dry our swimwear. The room was nice and spacious so we could spread out our suitcases. Didn’t explore the farm much because it was raining but loved patting the cat that liked to sleep on the decking. The room also felt very private and the farm is behind a locked gate. Definitely recommend

What a wonderful stay- even though we didn’t get much time there! Almost as soon as we parked the host came out and let us know the volcano was active- so we left and didn’t get back til most 4am. We loved being able to pet the cats and dogs on property and feast on the fruit/nut trees. I did get bit by a centipede while walking in the fruit grove right before we left so keep an eye out! Lovely visit!

We loved this luxury yurt, we wished we spend more time here. Everything is just so nice and lovely. They had an amazing bathroom with extreme pressurized shower, which my bf loved. They made us breakfast sandwiches with fresh papaya and coffee. You also get to pet 2 lovely dogs and a cat, with a very stunning views of the ocean by their pool! We were so spoiled! If you made it this far, book it!!!
