We are a small 50 acre ranch in the panhandle of Florida. Most of our property is pasture. Our mile-long driveway is lined with Oak Trees. We also have a few acres of Mayhaw trees in a seasonal pond. We raise Miniature Tennessee Fainting Goats to sell as family pets. We pasture a half dozen sheep for wool, live with several Peafowl for beauty and entertainment, and a couple dozen Guinee Fowl for pest control and more entertainment. A hundred and twenty-five chickens supply us with plenty of eggs. A dozen ducks offer up a few eggs a day as well. You can pet the goats and Baboy, our Potbellied pig. Walking in the pastures offers a glimpse at the local variety of flowers, birds, and insect life. Stay away from the dozen bee hives we watch over. This is a very quiet and welcoming place. We do have three Great Pyrenees gradian dogs roaming the property at night. They are mostly quiet but can occasionally spend a bit of the night barking and chasing predictors. Coyotes, foxes, and raccoons are better just off the property. Hang out, relax, read, and feed the goats. Monticello has some great restaurants, antique shops, a well-equipped sporting goods store, and a hardware store. If you are a cyclist, there are hundreds of miles of clay roads through the North Florida and South Georgia countryside. There are very few cars and lots of views. We have some routes to share. The clear-water spring-fed Wacissa River is nearby. Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent one from one of the businesses at the head of the river. The Aucilla River is also nearby. This cabin is spacious, warm and safe. We were in need of a place to stay. Stacey has many different options to pick from rent and RV spots to even a pioneer campsite. Now that's rad. We were also provided firewood that we were not charged for because it was raining. Stacey is a great host.

We only overnighted but loved this wide open field…. For the more adventurous (driving on a farm lane! Felt like I was at my Grandparents!) The gate pictured is the entrance. I did not pick up on that when I booked it so my dusk arrival had me worried. There is a well marked lane then you turn toward the green barn. No worries for turning around, plenty of space. We let our dog run free and had a great time. The electric is 50 amp so if you are a 30, be sure to have your adaptor.

Anna was very kind. The property was cute with several different animals to see. It was not a well groomed property like you see at the state and national parks, but that is part of the cozy ranch style camping. Hook ups were very easy to access.

I loved the privacy of this beautiful spot. Being able to pull in and be undercover and simply plug-in was a luxury. Having the place all to myself, seeing the deer and the stars late at night made for a peaceful respite. Walked the trail on the property in the afternoon and simply relaxed. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing stay! Super quiet, large property, and felt extremely private. The bathhouse for showers and bathroom were literally steps outside the door. Stacey was amazing and took care of any issues (adjusted the AC for us while we were out), brought a camp stove, AND set us up each day with pine needles for a campfire (every 12 year olds wish!!!). Best of all, we caught two fish when out fishing and could not find anyone to filet them for us. Stacey came and grabbed them from our cooler and then kept an eye on my message when I was ready for them. Honestly 15 out of 10 stars. I checked out the RV site for future visits and will be back! It is a perfect pull through, easy to access.

Had a wonderful time on Pamela’s farm! I was able to pitch my tent right near a horse pasture and had a lot of open space for camping. Pamela was very attentive and provided water, a restroom, as well as access to the barn to spend time with all of the animals. The donkeys especially were so sweet. It was a very unique and exciting experience that I will forever appreciate!

Our second visit to Golden Acres. The kids love roaming around with the animals, exploring, visiting with Bobbie in the Country Store. In the midst of an emergency at a neighboring campsite, Ken kept in touch and made sure we were all safe. There is no place better to spend a weekend.

Tent camped on the farm. Platform for the tent was a nice bonus. I rode my bike on the local roads straight from the campsite. Great mix of gravel and red clay in this area. Farm animals were abound and the two large dogs are friendly teddy bears. If I come back for more cycling I will be staying here again.
