This property offers many options when it comes to recreation and hobbies. There are three rivers all within 15 minutes, 6 natural springs, fishing, kayaking, boating, and swimming! Tent sites, campervans, and small self sufficient RV’s are welcome! Each site has plenty of space. The Florida trail head is just around the corner for hiking, biking, and observing nature. 4 state parks, 3 preserves, hunting and horseback riding are all available too. There are plenty of trails for ATVs, Jeeps, and Side-by-sides. It is recreational land! We are all about camping, bonfires, riding, fun- but we do require a liability waiver to be signed prior to your stay if you are bringing your toys. The graveyard and Ironhorse mud parks are within 20 minutes. You can leave right from the property and ride for miles. There is something for everyone! Sit back and take a break, sit by the bonfire and make memories! Getaway and come enjoy all of what nature has to offer. You won’t be bored or disappointed. The only rules are take out what you bring in and don’t trash it or be disrespectful. Just come camping and have good time!

We are very close to the blue springs state park swimming area with the largest magnitude spring in our area. You can access Blue Springs park with a short tube ride down river or drive around on the road in under two minutes. We have a low access point perfect for getting in the water to swim or launch your kayak directly on property. ATVs and side-by-side’s are welcome in our community. There are plenty of areas to ride around and explore. If you are bringing a boat, Lee boat ramp is a short drive away. You can easily drive your river boat up the river to the property. Excellent fishing awaits you. Our area of the river is sparsely populated and is relaxing and tranquil. We have a dry and high ridge area set up for camping in a tent or RV. Full 110v power hook up. Suwannee River Glamping

In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water. The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach. We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

There are many Springs along the over 240 miles of River as it empties into the Gulf of Mexico. The Suwannee River begins it's journey in the Okefenokee Swamp in South Georgia. We are an adventuring family of 8 who decided we love coming down to Florida every winter from our home in Minnesota, so why not create our own place to camp and while we are away, share it with other camping and outdoor enthusiasts like you! We hope you enjoy your rustic camping experience and get to enjoy the beautiful Madison Blue Springs State Park that is right down the road! You can swim, tube, kayak, cave dive, hike, play volleyball, and have a picnic in this hidden gem! It is also in a great central location for exploring either the gulf side of the ocean or the Atlantic, which both are about an hour to two hours away. Rainbow Springs State Park is about 2 hours south and has a lot to explore on the way! If you have any questions or problems during your stay, please contact us! Enjoy, The Bigelows Learn more about this land: We are slowly working the land and we were able to clear a driveway and parking. Please note that because it has been recently excavated, the driveway could be muddy after heavy rain. There is room for a couple RVs or a tent campsite nestled in the forest under a canopy of tall pines. There is also a fire pit, trees for hammocks, and a pit toilet. And our kids worked extremely hard on a fun nature playground with sand, a fort, balancing logs, tic tac toe, and a swing! Make sure to check out the photos.
