I wonder if when standing on the sprawling in upstate South Carolina, just a short hour trip from Greenville, Ed and Kitty Land heard a small still voice say, “if you build it, they will come.” While there isn't a baseball field on the property, that's about all that is lacking. Chattooga Belle Farm began as an event building set on acres with a small seasonal retail store. Soon people found their way to the soon-to-be full-fledged farm and they felt it; that feeling that you've found a very special place. Peaceful, majestic and unlike any other, Chattooga Belle Farm is quite possibly the perfect place for any event and most certainly an ideal place to pledge your heart and life to another.
Since the Lands opened their doors in 2010 they have come. There have been families, couples, groups, the media and fruit pickers who have all visited the farm; and they return year after year. Having been written up countless times across the southeast, US and more recently featured on The Today Show, the farm just keeps growing and getting better. With a history of growing sweet juicy apples, the soil in this part of the world has proven to be excellent for peaches, muscadines, scuppernongs, and blueberries. The farm also grows exotic fruits like persimmons, paw paws, Asian pears, figs, and more!
The landscape is picturesque and the mountain views are truly breathtaking in every direction. The farm hosts farm to table dinners that sell out year after year. Their U-Pick fruit opportunities evolve throughout the season with something always coming in from early summer through fall. A list of available fruit is updated often on their website, upcoming events and information about cabin rentals on Horseshoe Lake.
The recent addition of a distillery on the farm means the fruit is grown, fermented, distilled and bottled on the farm. The distillery is open year round Monday – Saturday. ged in oak barrels and aged to produce some of the finest liquors made in these mountains.
The farm store is complete with fresh produce (in season), canned jams, jellies and bottled ciders. Grass-fed, natural, antibiotic-free Black Angus beef is sold in the store. The cattle are raised on pasture which produces some of the healthiest beef you can buy. Using only natural, humane and environmentally sustainable practices, the Lands and their staff raise beef as nature intended. Bringing the best to your family has never been easier.
Belle's Bistro at Chattooga Belle Farm serves salads, sandwiches, burgers and soups made with the freshest ingredients possible. The bistro is open for lunch Tuesday – Sunday from April – October. Each RV site is gravel, shaded, and sits along the peaceful Coweeta Creek. The campground property has a large field for games (kickball, soccer, volleyball), as well as a flat 1/4 mile loop which you can view our mini homestead farm. We have chickens, bees, vegetable gardens, and a small fruit orchard. Turkey Foot Trail is a 1/2 mile trail that takes you through the wooded area to the peak of the property.
The campground is only 15 minutes from Franklin, NC and 20 minutes from Clayton, GA with plenty of shopping/restaurants. Once you are at the campground you won't want to leave the beauty of the creek!
Strong Wifi is available at all sites. Network password will be provided before arrival.
Property History: Coweeta Creek Campground WAS a 20 site, thriving, family/church oriented campground from the 1970's that was later sold, then neglected. My family purchased in 2022 and opened a few camping sites for a more family friendly, intimate setting.

- Communication: Or rather, lack thereof! There's no cell service on the property so it's a great time to get away from it all. There is limited Wi-Fi available near the Pack Room and an emergency landline available.

Come join us at this unforgettable camping spot at Historic Castleberry Bridge where the Gold Rush happened, the Indian fish trap still exist, the birth place of Denver Colorado and the hideout of Jesse James just some of the history that happened at your campsite on the Etowah River. Look for the gate at 851 Castleberry Bridge Rd (right where the bridge crosses the river) and drive through the gate and George (owner) should be there. He will open the second gate for you where you will be able to drive through and park at your site - weather permitting. To the left of the first gate is the community area with toilet, grills, picnic tables, etc. Remember, your phone might not work near the river. There's so much fun waiting for you to explore! Tubes are available for a $5 charge per day. If you're feeling extra adventurous, there are rope swings that let you swing over the river, and there are super cool places to splash around and swim, part of which, is in the Indian Fish Trap.
When your tummy starts rumbling, don't worry. We've got you covered with grills in the community area where you can cook delicious food. So you can have a tasty meal with the sound of the river flowing in the background. Also we are within 5-10 minutes to stores, restaurant , etc.
But wait, there's more excitement! If you're looking for an even bigger adventure, this is the perfect spot to begin an awesome kayaking trip if you brought your kayak. Castleberry Bridge is where people from all over the country come to experience going through the Miner's Tunnel.

I wonder if when standing on the sprawling in upstate South Carolina, just a short hour trip from Greenville, Ed and Kitty Land heard a small still voice say, “if you build it, they will come.” While there isn't a baseball field on the property, that's about all that is lacking. Chattooga Belle Farm began as an event building set on acres with a small seasonal retail store. Soon people found their way to the soon-to-be full-fledged farm and they felt it; that feeling that you've found a very special place. Peaceful, majestic and unlike any other, Chattooga Belle Farm is quite possibly the perfect place for any event and most certainly an ideal place to pledge your heart and life to another.
Since the Lands opened their doors in 2010 they have come. There have been families, couples, groups, the media and fruit pickers who have all visited the farm; and they return year after year. Having been written up countless times across the southeast, US and more recently featured on The Today Show, the farm just keeps growing and getting better. With a history of growing sweet juicy apples, the soil in this part of the world has proven to be excellent for peaches, muscadines, scuppernongs, and blueberries. The farm also grows exotic fruits like persimmons, paw paws, Asian pears, figs, and more!
The landscape is picturesque and the mountain views are truly breathtaking in every direction. The farm hosts farm to table dinners that sell out year after year. Their U-Pick fruit opportunities evolve throughout the season with something always coming in from early summer through fall. A list of available fruit is updated often on their website, upcoming events and information about cabin rentals on Horseshoe Lake.
The recent addition of a distillery on the farm means the fruit is grown, fermented, distilled and bottled on the farm. The distillery is open year round Monday – Saturday. ged in oak barrels and aged to produce some of the finest liquors made in these mountains.
The farm store is complete with fresh produce (in season), canned jams, jellies and bottled ciders. Grass-fed, natural, antibiotic-free Black Angus beef is sold in the store. The cattle are raised on pasture which produces some of the healthiest beef you can buy. Using only natural, humane and environmentally sustainable practices, the Lands and their staff raise beef as nature intended. Bringing the best to your family has never been easier.
Belle's Bistro at Chattooga Belle Farm serves salads, sandwiches, burgers and soups made with the freshest ingredients possible. The bistro is open for lunch Tuesday – Sunday from April – October. Each RV site is gravel, shaded, and sits along the peaceful Coweeta Creek. The campground property has a large field for games (kickball, soccer, volleyball), as well as a flat 1/4 mile loop which you can view our mini homestead farm. We have chickens, bees, vegetable gardens, and a small fruit orchard. Turkey Foot Trail is a 1/2 mile trail that takes you through the wooded area to the peak of the property.
The campground is only 15 minutes from Franklin, NC and 20 minutes from Clayton, GA with plenty of shopping/restaurants. Once you are at the campground you won't want to leave the beauty of the creek!
Strong Wifi is available at all sites. Network password will be provided before arrival.
Property History: Coweeta Creek Campground WAS a 20 site, thriving, family/church oriented campground from the 1970's that was later sold, then neglected. My family purchased in 2022 and opened a few camping sites for a more family friendly, intimate setting.

- Pack Room: Where the adventure begins! A cozy hub where all guests get local information, view maps, and grab some local seasonal groceries. Also available to all campers are washing sinks with hot water, toaster oven and microwave.
- Communication: Or rather, lack thereof! There's no cell service on the property so it's a great time to get away from it all. There is limited Wi-Fi available near the Pack Room and an emergency landline available.

Come join us at this unforgettable camping spot at Historic Castleberry Bridge where the Gold Rush happened, the Indian fish trap still exist, the birth place of Denver Colorado and the hideout of Jesse James just some of the history that happened at your campsite on the Etowah River. Look for the gate at 851 Castleberry Bridge Rd (right where the bridge crosses the river) and drive through the gate and George (owner) should be there. He will open the second gate for you where you will be able to drive through and park at your site - weather permitting. To the left of the first gate is the community area with toilet, grills, picnic tables, etc. Remember, your phone might not work near the river. There's so much fun waiting for you to explore! Tubes are available for a $5 charge per day. If you're feeling extra adventurous, there are rope swings that let you swing over the river, and there are super cool places to splash around and swim, part of which, is in the Indian Fish Trap.
When your tummy starts rumbling, don't worry. We've got you covered with grills in the community area where you can cook delicious food. So you can have a tasty meal with the sound of the river flowing in the background. Also we are within 5-10 minutes to stores, restaurant , etc.
But wait, there's more excitement! If you're looking for an even bigger adventure, this is the perfect spot to begin an awesome kayaking trip if you brought your kayak. Castleberry Bridge is where people from all over the country come to experience going through the Miner's Tunnel.

Babbling Brook RV Site is a beautiful haven tucked away from the rest of the bustling world, allowing you the peace and quiet you deserve. The one acre property, spanning across the gorgeous forest, has private access to 200 feet of creek waterfront, allowing for you to fish and relax in the water to your heart's content. The creek is about knee-deep, meaning it is shallow enough for you to properly unwind in and enjoy the calming sounds of the water running around you. Deer has also been known to cross across the property and can be observed as much as you wish.
This spot is only 5-10 minutes away from downtown Blairsville, a quaint little town with many shops for you to browse and activities to try out! Additionally, Meeks Park is only 8 minutes away with nature trails, sports fields, a dog park, swimming pools, and many more! Lastly, there are several waterfalls nearby and many recreational activities, such as horseback riding, that you can enjoy as well.

There are 3 treehouses present on these 5 acres of land tucked into the National Forest. A stream runs past 2 of the treehouses down to a pasture with a small assortment of animals. The property includes friendly, free roaming, outdoor cats that will likely keep you company during your stay. Do note there are dogs at the main cabin. While on your glamping trip, there are several places nearby to hiking, fishing, swimming, and if you're brave enough, even biking the ups and downs of the mountain roads.
Parking, as well as a bathroom with running water and electricity, are at the main cabin, which is a short walk from the treehouse.

The glass house is great. We enjoyed the wood stove and star gazing from inside. The site is relatively private and well maintained. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers are hot. It’s the perfect site for glamping.

We loved everything about our stay at Winding Stair Farm! The farm was beautiful, bathrooms clean and well stocked, and the camp store was so handy for essentials. We enjoyed walking by the river and visiting the farm animals every evening. Such a peaceful place and we cannot wait to stay again. Couldn’t recommended more!

This cabin was the perfect mountain escape—quiet, tucked into a ravine, and surrounded by winding roads and beautiful views. We arrived late Friday, please note when arriving in the dark it may be a bit hard to find but for us it just added to the laughs. There was no signal out near the cabin, so it took a bit of teamwork, but we got it figured out.
Saturday was all about the outdoors: breakfast at Bear Necessities Café, then hiking Amicalola Falls (about 40 mins away, but again we appreciated the drive through the mountains and we're not rushed to do anything). We tackled the 425+ stairs at the falls, and tag-teamed carrying our dog, who absolutely refused the metal steps 😂. Sunday’s rain slowed things down in the best way—gold mine tour, incredible Mediterranean food at Pharaoh’s Feast, then soaking in the hot tub and ending each night with a campfire. Peaceful, cozy, and dog-friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Cabin - Lake Hartwell
We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with all the amenities for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals easily, the WiFi worked great, jacuzzi was a nice bonus and the cabin itself was spacious and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to Mountaintop Fantasy
Everything was perfect!
Peter and his wife were so welcoming. They gave us excellent recommendations, and were so accommodating. Molly was so funny too. Love to see them again!
Amazing views. Best view is from one of the bedrooms. It's basically a home away from home.
A beautiful place for our first trip together.
Bring dog treats. They have plenty of blankets for the winter temperatures!

1 night at Tiny Home Way
This was a perfect weekend getaway! We only stayed a single night, but this tiny gem is equipped with everything you need. Beautiful setting, even in winter.
We weren't concerned but we were wondering how well heated the cabin would be. When we woke in the morning it was 24F, feels like 9F, and we had had a toasty night. Blankets provided were perfect. Space heater was excellent. The floor and bottom level were cooler, but the heat rising to the sleeping loft necessitated turning on the fan to circulate and ease a bit of stuffiness, as crazy as that is.
And the hot tub was blessedly HOT, even in the freezing weather. Towels provided. We thoroughly enjoyed a bit of stargazing even with the string lights lit.
We wished we had remembered our firewood. The fire pit by the creek is so inviting, with log formed benches and a bar height one for ease with refreshments. It was still a great coffee spot in the morning.
Jodi and her team are excellent communicators. I was able to consult with them about some of the forest roads in the area as we wanted to do the short day hike to the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. MAJOR TIP: approach the parking lot from the north/west direction on the forest service road.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! We had an amazing time. Amy was amazing and so kind. The animals were friendly. We camped right next to them and they were quiet. Everything was clean and the owner outdid herself with the decorations. Everywhere you turned there was a different whimsical item. We will definitely be going back. My only wish was there was a bathroom closer to where you park the RVs. It’s super close to the cabins though.

Epic! Best place property we’ve visited. Stayed a week and it seemed like a minute and the week was gone. Michael is the best there is, with some folks you just know. Plenty of dried, cut, stacked, covered wood to burn. All secluded back on your own little peninsula with equipped BBQ and picnic table. And that dude is one cool cat! Met us exactly as we pulled up told us everything we needed to know then disappeared lol it was perfect. We’ll be back.
