Destination Sunset was all that we expected and more. We stayed 5 nights with a 32’ camper. The large cement pad gave us room to set up the camper and really stretch out for outdoor movies, relaxing, and enjoying the view.
The lot is secure where we felt safe to let our 3 mini-schnauzers roam and explore without losing sight of them.
They had plenty of room to run and play. The host was very kind and helpful. There was firewood already split for us to use for a small additional fee.
The lot was easy to find and absolutely beautiful. There are mature trees with Spanish moss hanging everywhere. There is plenty of shade. String lights and a security light provide just the right amount of light once the sun goes down.
This was by far the nicest site we have ever stayed at. The sunsets are breathtaking. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit is the perfect place to watch the sky light up over the water. We had a great vacation and will definitely stay here again in the future.

What an amazing camping spot! Better than we even expected and we’ve already booked our next trip. Many more visits to come! Super easy to find as well.
The space was great, full hook up for the camper was great, the fenced in acre yard for the pups was great, the views are incredible, ability to fish, paddle board, relax on the dock, launch a boat if you have one or use the canoe and kayaks they have! The peaceful mornings, days and nights by the campfire plus firewood access. Literally everything was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things!
To top it off, Tim and his wife were very kind, accommodating and helpful in every way needed. There’s also access to a Publix and other shopping that’s not too far away if needed. This will be our regular camping spot. Keep in mind..the pictures in my review aren’t filtered. The views were just this perfect! Thanks again for everything Tim! We can’t wait to come back!

This location is truly a hidden gem and a peaceful paradise! We enjoyed the a spectacular sunset and cannot wait to visit again. The place was perfect for dogs, easy to access, and enjoyed the relaxing set up (very comfortable chairs!!).

Couldn’t ask for a better campsite! A true gem of a hipcamp - Private lot in a lovely quiet neighborhood right on the water. Level concrete parking pad, full hookups, incredible view, fantastic fishing, insane wildlife, and even a ridiculously friendly neighborhood cat. We had many dolphin sightings, caught whiting and red drum from the dock, and even were shocked by a river otter one evening while we were enjoying the stunning sunset. To top it all off, the host Tim was so kind and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and book!!

I will be back. The site was well maintained. Firewood is easily accessible if you pay for it, which was also super convenient. Very little to no light pollution or sound. Spaces are wide enough to feel private and the site is easy to find. The owner is very responsive. I definitely look forward to our next visit.

Only stayed one night, but it was perfect. The property was spotlessly clean, (especially the portapot), very private, and wonderfully quiet. Highly recommend buying the excellent firewood—burns great and made the stay even cozier. Would definitely return!

Nice secluded site with a great view of the stars. If you want silence this isn't your spot as the interstate is very audible but if that doesn't you then I highly recommend this location.

I loved the tent area!! They were clearly posted and easy to find. The Lagoon is beautiful and there was plenty of firewood available. Definitely would recommend, and I look forward to coming back.

If I could live here, I would. As it is, I’ll just visit while I can! The IGA is 6 min away but when you’re there it’s 600 miles away. There is wildlife and neighbors. My only complaint is I’ve discovered I’m allergic to no-see-ems and they live here. So strong bug repellent, but if you have a problem with that, camping isn’t for you anyway :D

We had amazing time tent camping here. We got to meet Steve and April as they brought wood to our campsite when we first arrived and they were very kind and answered all our questions.
They told us all about the budding vineyard visible from the campsites and how it will soon support a winery that will be opening next year. We were lucky enough to be able to try a few of their wines and they were all delicious. We'll definitely be coming to visit the winery once it opens up!
The camp sites were all well mentioned and felt safe and secluded. There was plenty of firewood available to purchase and the porta potty was clean and centrally located.
My wife and I explored the property a bit with our dog and it was very nice. The sunset view of the marsh at the far edge of the property was absolutely gorgeous and it was really cool to be able to walk around the vineyard and check out that area of the campsite.
We will definitely be coming back to camp here regularly!

Quiet, private and excellent hosts. Great for a guys weekend, family or just to get away and relax. The weather was 70s in the day and 40s at night and the bugs were only out for a couple hours in the morning and in the afternoon. Firewood was dry and well stocked, for 10$ a night. Great place, great hosts, will save the location for future getaways.
