Lizardsniffer is a working horse farm with a variety of rental cabins and RV slips.
We DO allow tent camping.
Each RV slip has water, septic, 50 amp service and Wifi.
An Amenities Cabin is provided for use by all RV site guests. The cabin includes a full-sized washer/dryer, a full bathroom with bidet, and an oversized jacuzzi tub. Guests must sign-up for a 4-hour timeslot. The cabin is available for use between the hours of 8am-8pm.
Many of our RV sites feature private fenced paddocks for people bringing their horses or dogs. Horse visitors require all current paperwork (Coggins, etc.). Dog visitors must be social and friendly and thus are allowed to explore the farm with their owners off-leash if desired.
The property includes miles of trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Bring your own horse or experienced riders may be able to ride one of ours (subject to weight/experience matching with a horse).
There is a small private stocked lake open to all guests of Lizardsniffer for fishing and swimming. At the lake you will find an amenities cabin called Glowy Bobber that has a full bathroom and outdoor shower as well as Kayaks and floats for guest use.

We had such a great stay at Lizard Sniffer Horse Farm! Our dog absolutely loved running around the property—it was a dream for dogs. The RV spot was beautiful and very private, with plenty of space and dedicated dog runs. Having access to a washer, toilet, and bathtub was such a huge bonus and made the stay even more comfortable. Peaceful, well set up, and clearly dog-friendly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The Charlotte's Web theme was adorable and we were so warm and cozy. Full kitchen(pots, pans, cups, ect), flat screen TV, comfy couch, comfy bed with a view, cool led lighting, and a jacuzzi tub. Wasn't far from hiking and other parks. Randy was so very kind and helpful and we appreciate him so very much and look forward to booking again! 🕷️🐖

We loved our weekend at the Lizard Sniffer Ranch!! We stayed at the Wilbur site. This horse farm is a little slice of heaven. Although we camped, they also have cabins available. It was the perfect place for star gazing and relaxing. The owners were very nice and always a text away. We will definitely be back!!

We loved every moment at The Lizard Sniffer Ranch! It far exceeded our expectations! There were surprises around every corner of his beautiful property. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the many paths and trails. The lake was so relaxing and Randy had every Amenity you could ever imagine! Kayaks, floats, fishing gear. The bathroom at the lake was wonderful with an outside shower that I could stay in for hours! The horses, donkey, geese, dogs and lizards were something else. There are so many beautiful little cabins for rent. Randy and his family certainly put much time and love in their vision! Randy was the most gracious host ever! We can hardly wait to return!

We booked this on the busy 4 of July. Par two was the perfect get away. My wife felt very comfortable with the farm and the place where she could do her morning walks. The directions using Google maps were perfect and the signage inside the property were perfect. It was a full hookup site. We spent 2 glorious days there and would recommend it. It’s just about 10 minutes from interstate 20.

Our time was too short. We only stayed 1 night but it is really a great place. So great to be able to let our dogs (4) have a safe place to run around and work off energy. The paddock is a great asset to an RV site. The owner is very friendly and we could probably have talked for much longer. Clean, quiet and very relaxing. Cannot wait to go back. Oh and you can bring your horses as they have cottages with paddocks also!

We had an amazing time at the Lizardsniffer camp! A friend of mine and I stayed for some mommy and me time and our expectations were over exceeded. We got to experience one of the cabins which was very comfortable and luxurious as well as tent camping. We were happy with the tent site as it had everything we needed very close together. Although it was early in camping season our kids still enjoyed swimming in the lake and going out in the kayaks. The land is large and beautiful with plenty of space. We also enjoyed seeing the horses and donkey. Overall we were extremely satisfied with the trip and felt spoiled by Randy and his staff, how can you not with every toilet having a bidet. Thank you for a great time!

My husband and I stayed for three nights with our pet, and it was exactly what we expected—it met our expectations! The place was very peaceful ; and it was calm and quiet. The owners were very friendly and helpful and you can tell they care about their guests. Our site was also perfect for bringing your pet. The beautiful lake, the corrals with gorgeous horses, and the cleanliness of the place are truly commendable. We had a great time.

We just returned from a RV camping weekend with our horses. As great as the reviews are, the reviews undersell it and our expectations were far exceeded. Randy and Lisa are extraordinary hosts and great people. Their hospitality is unmatched. There were unexpected surprises around every corner. Take the Amenities cabin for example. What RV park offers guests wifi, jacuzzi tub, a bidet, and laundry machines? Need firewood? They have it for you. Want to explore their 160 acres, they will loan you a golf cart. We had a chance to check out their cabins as well. Indescribably cool. Your friends, family, horses, and dogs will love it here. I know we did.

Love this place! I was only able to stay for a night (I was just passing through) and regret that it wasn’t longer. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay. The property is amazing and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed spending time with them while I was there, as well. The property has signage to help you find your way to your cabin or RV site. There is also a Hobbit home for you to visit. The owners have plans to expand and they sound like they will be fun and interesting sites to stay. The trails are great for a horseback ride or just for walking. The pond looks like it will be a great place to hang out at once the weather warms up again. 10/10 recommend this place for a longer stay.

Weekend Trip to Lizardsniffer
We traveled to Lizardsniffer with our teenage daughter and two pets. Both Lisa and Randy are exceptional hosts, stopping by with firewood, checking in to make sure all is well after we set up, and letting our daughter visit with and even ride the horses. It was actually our very first trip as campers with a travel trailer and we couldn't have had a better experience. There are sweet animals to watch, fun trails to explore, and every amenity you need to feel at home. We will definitely travel to Lizarsniffer again to relax to enjoy a leisurely walk along with the excellent hospitality that Randy and Lisa provide.
