We’re a FARMHER owned micro-farm in Northeastern Tallahassee within a few miles from I-10. The farm is a back-to-nature wellness glamping facility, in the city. We believe in enjoying the abundance of nature, with a few creature comforts.
THE FARM- The farm started in the late 1800’s and has remained untouched since 2012, when the family farmhouse burnt. The farm's infrastructure is still present today, and we’ve started to uncover it after 20+ years. Purchased in 2023, Our new farm will provide a place to learn about sustainability as we practice being a good steward of the land.
The backbone of the farm. We aim to serve the growing interest in ECOtourism & AGRItourism, by educating the public with farm tours.
We will practice *Permaculture * Food forest *Low carbon footprint *Regenerative Farming & Rotational Grazing with *HERITAGE animals.
Most of our HERITAGE animals are “MINI” and part of our traveling therapy program (zoo). The farm animals aid in the conservation efforts and create awareness of historic farm animals going EXTINCT, due to industry practices. (livestockconservancy.com)
Every acre of the farm is a unique experience and our “special places” create lasting memories. Our favorite is “The Manger”. We plan to restore the old cattle shoot, holding pens and “manger” structure. In the future it will be a historical therapy petting zoo. We love our animals and they all serve multiple purposes on the farm.
The farm’s one of the last larger parcels, undeveloped, in the area. Two miles from I-10 interchange, NEW Tractor Supply, Wendys, Amazon, and a new Gas station. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farm stays to day visits. It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. To support that endeavor, we sell chicken eggs, specialty cottage goods, Our goal is to provide a perfect balance of peaceful connection with self and nature coupled with a connection to community.
FURRY FRIENDS OVERNIGHT **Most of our rentals will offer private paddocks for their horses- limited spaces while we expand.

Horse transporters, competitors, staycations, evacuees, anyone traveling I-10, or nearby, will have a place to stay with your horses. Transporters can come in LATE and leave EARLY, after horses can stretch & rest. Horse staycations allow a chance to vacation with horses, or seek shelter from a storm. Horse competitors going to local show barns need horse boarding too. COME SEE US.
Dog competitors and owners- Dog owners preferring not to stay at a hotel or relatives, when visiting. Dog competitors coming to Tallahassee or traveling through can come where there’s space for dogs to run.
**WARNING** We are a new WORKING FARM. We are now open to the public but please understand we are working everyday to make improvements. Its not perfect but we think you’ll love it. You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats and we have animal experiences available to bottle feed them. It's always a big hit and makes great photos. Come and de-stress by snuggling our goats. These bouncing bundles of joy are guaranteed to make you smile!
There are chickens and guinea fowl that are all personable and love to be fed. We also have two mini therapy certified horses, and two mini ZEBU cows that love to eat from your hand. We offer farm tours!!!
There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they BARK lots at night... **Again we are a REAL WORKING FARM.
SIGN UP for the animal feeding experience. It’s an upclose experience to help hand feed the whole herd, collect eggs and learn all about our special animals and see all the unique personalities we have here on the farm. If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!!
LOCATION- We are located in northeast Tallahassee and only about twenty minutes from FSU stadium - straight shot! We love to host parents and students! Great weekend getaway!
***We also offer primitive camping sites as well in The Orchard area. No electric at campsites. WATER is available.
*Need room for more occupants?? See optional add-ons for rental tent/screen rooms we will set up to allow for additional occupants at our units. Or pay small tent fee to bring your own and place near your site.
KITCHEN- *We have a small outdoor kitchen area with grill, griddle, stove, utensils, and picnic table. Basic cooking supplies are provided in your unit (oil, salt, pepper, etc) basic cookware, utensils, disposable and washable cups and plates. You are welcome to pick from the garden when its complete. There is also a common area, to eat and hang out. We will soon have a community fire pit for all to enjoy.
BATHHOUSE- In the Homestead area we have a small rustic community bath house with a hot shower and a running toilet. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and fresh towels provided. The Primitive Orchard area has cold water faucets and compost toilet. Both bath houses are close to all overnight areas.
CHECK IN/Check-out time may be flexible depending upon concurrent bookings! We ask that you clear your campsite by 11am, but you are welcome to spend the remainder of the day hanging out with the goats, riding or just relaxing. Check in time is 2pm or later. Unless you are a returning guest please arrive before 7pm. (ALL late arrivals must be approved ahead of time, unless emergency.) Late arrivals interfere with our chore routine and it’s hard to stop and show you around. Thank you. Feel free to message if you have questions! The herd looks forward to meeting you!!
PARKING- Temporary UNLOADING/LOADING- Parking for one vehicle near site.
Must park in nearby guest parking afterwards. It is for the safety of our animals. We have too many free roaming animals. Thank you for understanding.
BUGS- Please be aware that beginning in mid-May for about six weeks is yellow fly season in north Florida! Mosquitos are around all the time but heavier near wet areas. Note: This is Florida and a rustic farmstay. There are bugs and spiders on the property. One may even end up in the domes or tents. Please understand this before complaining about bugs. I want to make sure everyone knows it happens! We love our domes and tents, but you should know this isn't an apartment in the city :)

Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest.
The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees!
The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly.
Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions.

A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water.
The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach.
We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

We are a family of 14 who LOVE to travel the US! There’s Mom (Brooke), Dad (Cam), two older teen boys, six dogs—Moose is a deaf elderly Frenchie, Lulu the bossy Bichon, Frankie the sweetest Lhasa, Ruby the world’s best Sheepdog, Po the Toy Aussie who only loves his human mom, and Miles the running Aussie—plus two cats (Hank and Charlie are the fattest, laziest, most spoiled cats), and Magpie and Hennifer the Silkie chickens.
We sold our giant home in MA and our successful hot yoga studio in NH to buy three acres of land here in Madison, FL, where we spend most of the year. We still travel back to our small home in Maine for part of the summer just to escape the heat!
During our travels in 2025, we rescued a Walker Hound named Daisy in MS. She was very sick with heartworms and kidney failure, and was 30 pounds underweight. She spent seven weeks with us, seeing the oceans and bays from MS to AK, TN, LA, and AL, and all up and down the Florida coast.
When her kidneys eventually took a turn for the worse, we had to say goodbye. We loved her and miss her every day; she was the spark that ignited our desire to rescue abandoned dogs, cats, and chickens.
We bought our tiny farm paradise at the beginning of 2026 and are improving, adding to, and updating this camper/animal rescue every day!

This is a nature lover's paradise. All paths and clearings are maintained by hand to minimize disrupting Florida's natural woodland habitat, so you will be completely surrounded by beautiful native plants such as pines, saw palmettos, oaks, hickories, sweet gums, maples, and hollies. A winding footpath leads you from the road to the campsite, which sits on a 0.25 acre wooded lot surrounded by vacant wooded lots of similar size in every direction, so there is lots of privacy with no other adjacent campsites.
This is a primitive campsite in the wilds of Northern Florida! There is no running water, bathrooms or electricity. You'll need to bring everything you need, and take everything you brought. There is a fire pit with table & chairs, dog hammock, and a picnic table.
There are two spaces for pitching tents, a 12x15 ft clearing adjacent to the picnic table & fire pit, and a 8x10 ft clearing tucked a little further in the woods and connected by footpaths to the picnic area.
DRIVE HERE: The campsite is located 20 minutes north of I-10. Once you get off Co. Rd. 141 the area is entirely dirt roads, but there are street signs for navigation. Parking is available in front of the property with space for 1 vehicle.
HIKE HERE: We are a 7 min walk from the trailhead of Suwannee River State Park's Big Oak Trail which connects to the Florida National Scenic Trail.
RIVER ACCESS: We are a 3 min drive to a public boat launch for the Suwanee River, so bring your kayaks. Several miles downstream is the confluence with the Northern Withlacoochee River. Public parking is available at the boat launch and trailhead to Big Oak Trail.

We’re a FARMHER owned micro-farm in Northeastern Tallahassee within a few miles from I-10. The farm is a back-to-nature wellness glamping facility, in the city. We believe in enjoying the abundance of nature, with a few creature comforts.
THE FARM- The farm started in the late 1800’s and has remained untouched since 2012, when the family farmhouse burnt. The farm's infrastructure is still present today, and we’ve started to uncover it after 20+ years. Purchased in 2023, Our new farm will provide a place to learn about sustainability as we practice being a good steward of the land.

We will practice *Permaculture * Food forest *Low carbon footprint *Regenerative Farming & Rotational Grazing with *HERITAGE animals.
Most of our HERITAGE animals are “MINI” and part of our traveling therapy program (zoo). The farm animals aid in the conservation efforts and create awareness of historic farm animals going EXTINCT, due to industry practices. (livestockconservancy.com)
Every acre of the farm is a unique experience and our “special places” create lasting memories. Our favorite is “The Manger”. We plan to restore the old cattle shoot, holding pens and “manger” structure. In the future it will be a historical therapy petting zoo. We love our animals and they all serve multiple purposes on the farm.
The farm’s one of the last larger parcels, undeveloped, in the area. Two miles from I-10 interchange, NEW Tractor Supply, Wendys, Amazon, and a new Gas station. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farm stays to day visits. It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. To support that endeavor, we sell chicken eggs, specialty cottage goods, Our goal is to provide a perfect balance of peaceful connection with self and nature coupled with a connection to community.
FURRY FRIENDS OVERNIGHT **Most of our rentals will offer private paddocks for their horses- limited spaces while we expand.
IF YOU HAVE A HORSE TRAILER, ASK ABOUT SITES OR PARKING. *All horses staying overnight must pay overnight board fee.*Ask about available paddocks/round pens. * Trail/schooling fee not included.
Horse transporters, competitors, staycations, evacuees, anyone traveling I-10, or nearby, will have a place to stay with your horses. Transporters can come in LATE and leave EARLY, after horses can stretch & rest. Horse staycations allow a chance to vacation with horses, or seek shelter from a storm. Horse competitors going to local show barns need horse boarding too. COME SEE US.
Dog competitors and owners- Dog owners preferring not to stay at a hotel or relatives, when visiting. Dog competitors coming to Tallahassee or traveling through can come where there’s space for dogs to run.
**WARNING** We are a new WORKING FARM. We are now open to the public but please understand we are working everyday to make improvements. Its not perfect but we think you’ll love it. You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats and we have animal experiences available to bottle feed them. It's always a big hit and makes great photos. Come and de-stress by snuggling our goats. These bouncing bundles of joy are guaranteed to make you smile!
There are chickens and guinea fowl that are all personable and love to be fed. We also have two mini therapy certified horses, and two mini ZEBU cows that love to eat from your hand. We offer farm tours!!!
There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they BARK lots at night... **Again we are a REAL WORKING FARM.
SIGN UP for the animal feeding experience. It’s an upclose experience to help hand feed the whole herd, collect eggs and learn all about our special animals and see all the unique personalities we have here on the farm. If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!!
LOCATION- We are located in northeast Tallahassee and only about twenty minutes from FSU stadium - straight shot! We love to host parents and students! Great weekend getaway!
***We also offer primitive camping sites as well in The Orchard area. No electric at campsites. WATER is available.
*Need room for more occupants?? See optional add-ons for rental tent/screen rooms we will set up to allow for additional occupants at our units. Or pay small tent fee to bring your own and place near your site.
KITCHEN- *We have a small outdoor kitchen area with grill, griddle, stove, utensils, and picnic table. Basic cooking supplies are provided in your unit (oil, salt, pepper, etc) basic cookware, utensils, disposable and washable cups and plates. You are welcome to pick from the garden when its complete. There is also a common area, to eat and hang out. We will soon have a community fire pit for all to enjoy.
BATHHOUSE- In the Homestead area we have a small rustic community bath house with a hot shower and a running toilet. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and fresh towels provided. The Primitive Orchard area has cold water faucets and compost toilet. Both bath houses are close to all overnight areas.
CHECK IN/Check-out time may be flexible depending upon concurrent bookings! We ask that you clear your campsite by 11am, but you are welcome to spend the remainder of the day hanging out with the goats, riding or just relaxing. Check in time is 2pm or later. Unless you are a returning guest please arrive before 7pm. (ALL late arrivals must be approved ahead of time, unless emergency.) Late arrivals interfere with our chore routine and it’s hard to stop and show you around. Thank you. Feel free to message if you have questions! The herd looks forward to meeting you!!
PARKING- Temporary UNLOADING/LOADING- Parking for one vehicle near site.
Must park in nearby guest parking afterwards. It is for the safety of our animals. We have too many free roaming animals. Thank you for understanding.
BUGS- Please be aware that beginning in mid-May for about six weeks is yellow fly season in north Florida! Mosquitos are around all the time but heavier near wet areas. Note: This is Florida and a rustic farmstay. There are bugs and spiders on the property. One may even end up in the domes or tents. Please understand this before complaining about bugs. I want to make sure everyone knows it happens! We love our domes and tents, but you should know this isn't an apartment in the city :)

Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest.
The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees!
The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly.
Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions.
Pets: Pets on leashes are allowed on the property. Guests with aggressive animals will be asked to leave.

A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water.
The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach.
We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

We are a family of 14 who LOVE to travel the US! There’s Mom (Brooke), Dad (Cam), two older teen boys, six dogs—Moose is a deaf elderly Frenchie, Lulu the bossy Bichon, Frankie the sweetest Lhasa, Ruby the world’s best Sheepdog, Po the Toy Aussie who only loves his human mom, and Miles the running Aussie—plus two cats (Hank and Charlie are the fattest, laziest, most spoiled cats), and Magpie and Hennifer the Silkie chickens.
We sold our giant home in MA and our successful hot yoga studio in NH to buy three acres of land here in Madison, FL, where we spend most of the year. We still travel back to our small home in Maine for part of the summer just to escape the heat!
During our travels in 2025, we rescued a Walker Hound named Daisy in MS. She was very sick with heartworms and kidney failure, and was 30 pounds underweight. She spent seven weeks with us, seeing the oceans and bays from MS to AK, TN, LA, and AL, and all up and down the Florida coast.
When her kidneys eventually took a turn for the worse, we had to say goodbye. We loved her and miss her every day; she was the spark that ignited our desire to rescue abandoned dogs, cats, and chickens.
We bought our tiny farm paradise at the beginning of 2026 and are improving, adding to, and updating this camper/animal rescue every day!

Reconnect with nature and escape the light pollution at this completely private primitive campsite near Suwannee River State Park. Northern Florida offers some of the darkest skies in the state providing amazing star-viewing opportunities on clear nights, so pack the telescope!
This is a nature lover's paradise. All paths and clearings are maintained by hand to minimize disrupting Florida's natural woodland habitat, so you will be completely surrounded by beautiful native plants such as pines, saw palmettos, oaks, hickories, sweet gums, maples, and hollies. A winding footpath leads you from the road to the campsite, which sits on a 0.25 acre wooded lot surrounded by vacant wooded lots of similar size in every direction, so there is lots of privacy with no other adjacent campsites.
This is a primitive campsite in the wilds of Northern Florida! There is no running water, bathrooms or electricity. You'll need to bring everything you need, and take everything you brought. There is a fire pit with table & chairs, dog hammock, and a picnic table.
There are two spaces for pitching tents, a 12x15 ft clearing adjacent to the picnic table & fire pit, and a 8x10 ft clearing tucked a little further in the woods and connected by footpaths to the picnic area.
DRIVE HERE: The campsite is located 20 minutes north of I-10. Once you get off Co. Rd. 141 the area is entirely dirt roads, but there are street signs for navigation. Parking is available in front of the property with space for 1 vehicle.
HIKE HERE: We are a 7 min walk from the trailhead of Suwannee River State Park's Big Oak Trail which connects to the Florida National Scenic Trail.
RIVER ACCESS: We are a 3 min drive to a public boat launch for the Suwanee River, so bring your kayaks. Several miles downstream is the confluence with the Northern Withlacoochee River. Public parking is available at the boat launch and trailhead to Big Oak Trail.

This was such a great stop; we were just passing through, but would have loved to stay longer. It is a great location in downtown Tallahassee, yet feels very remote! We were able to see a little bit of Tallahassee night life during our stay. Danny is a great host and the amenities are super handy.

Easy overnight stop for us and we really enjoyed the farm life for one evening. Watching the ducks, pigs and folks fishing in the pond was fun. Having a campfire and watching Anna ride and give her horse some exercise was impressive. Give it a try if you dont mind a rustic environment.

Absolutely loved camping at this spot! Directions to get there are spot on. My daughter and our older dog stayed here for the weekend. I needed to disconnect from the world and I am so glad I picked Suwannee Glades. From the owls, bald eagles, and turkeys, to the stars and moon lit up so bright you could lay back for hours and stare at the sky. The path to the water is a little steep but I went down to fish for a little bit and it was so peaceful and serene. I recommend staying at this property 100%. Only thing I will say is that these are dirt roads leading to the property, so the vehicle you drive can matter. I had no issue with my Kia Forte but my car is low so I will just take a higher vehicle next time or a truck. But please take the advise and book here now!

What an absolute gem, both Danny and the site/stay. Danny has a natural oasis that he has opened up to others and it’s beautiful. It’s a nice quiet escape and you forget you’re in the city. We had a lovely fire, cooked dinner, met Danny, slept under a foggy, moonlight sky and took an amazing hot, outdoor shower that rivals any shower I’ve ever taken. We loved staying here and definitely will pass along to friends and hope to stay here again in the future.

This is a great property and opportunity to visit old Florida. It’s a perfect rural setting with little to no ambient noise while also within 30 minutes of all you could need and also a general store within 15. This a place to bring your family. Visit any of the amazing natural springs in the immediate area and don’t forget all desirable state parks along the Suwannee River Valley. Of most importance, Mr Stacey is an excellent host. He’s very flexible and can make just about anything work. He’ll make himself available as much or as little as you might need. He’s very crafty as well. Some of the projects he has going in for upcoming lodging is very impressive. Would like to give a special shout out to the shower house and toilet facilities—makes camping a ton better as my crew gets pretty dirty. We just live a few hours away hoping to return multiple times!! We live the river life!

My entire group loves this property. In the woods, yet a bike ride away to the capitol building, where the mountain biking event we are in town for starts! This is my third time booking this space, and it 100% my go-to in Tally. I am about to go ahead and book next year right now. ha!

Such a fantastic place! The privacy was amazing, and our dog absolutely loved having so much space to run around for hours. Tony was incredibly kind and hospitable. The fruit trees were such a cool bonus—we even picked a few. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!
