The property features a 1 1/2 acre pond stocked with catfish and bream and has a nice little dock with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the water.
There are animals! I have a beloved Scottish Highland cow named Genia and she is joined with two mini bulls and two mini cows. Various numbers of Nigerian Dwarf goats join them in the pasture. There are also a few chickens.
Small garden beds and a fruit orchard are on the property and I usually have at least a half dozen projects of one sort or another going on.
Several acres are wooded and there is ample space for a nature trail that I try to keep maintained. Several of the usual types wildlife can be seen.
Are you an artist or a writer? This is a great place for comtemplation and inspiration. I myself have 40 years experience as an art teacher and professor. If you would like to have a mini workshop, let me help.

I really really enjoyed tent camping at River Ranch! The land is beautiful. There are a few trails that you can walk along the river and see the wildlife. Doni and Laiza ,were very responsive to any questions that I had during my stay and made suggestions on where to walk and what to look out for as far as wildlife. My experience was a 10 out of 10! I will definitely be back soon.

The river right next to the site was so nice. It was great to have the deck and the covered area that we used as a camp kitchen. We put up two tents around the fire ring and had plenty of room. Access to the river is direct and easy. There was an area the dogs were able to use to get in and out as well. It wasn’t muddy and we didn't have any trouble getting to the site in our 2wd trucks. The provided directions were very clear and easy to follow. The neighbors do have a driveway that passes near the site, but they weren't disruptive or traveling in and out after quiet hours.

Beautifully peaceful location! If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend with a gorgeous view, boat rentals and quality fishing look no further! The owners were super nice and very helpful! The other campers and day fishers there were really kind and super respectful of each other! They have electrical hookups for rv/camper use and a clean bath house for use! I truly enjoyed my weekend and 10/10 will definitely be going back often!

We had a great time at Camp Joey! The kids loved watching the animals. Baby chick's hatched while we were there. The pool was so refreshing. Cooking was easy with access to a stove top and fridge for storing cold food and drinks. We were given fresh squash and zucchini from the garden. My son even caught a fish at the lake and enjoyed some ax throwing at a target board that was set. We will definitely be back!!

My husband &I totally enjoyed our stay at River Ranch. We stayed in our travel trailer under the covered concrete pad surrounded by total beauty. So quiet & peaceful. This campsite was exactly what we were looking for. Tent camping with upgraded amenities that made it easier with two kids under three.
Tent was clean, there were games and outdoor toys available for the kids, the grass was well maintained and we spent our entire weekend barefoot.
Air conditioning was available if needed, but we didn’t use it.
We were 7 minutes drive from the Georgia renaissance festival. Our entire weekend was magical and our boys’s first time camping and first renn fest was absolutely spectacular.
