Beautiful historic home located under large live oak trees. Home was originally constructed in 1865 and has appeared in a five Major Motion pictures! Nostalgic charm galore awaits you at Cathy's Corner. This is a must see stop along a well traveled highway, only 23 miles from downtown Savannah. Saturday's and Sunday's are very quiet. Monday through Friday has a bit of traffic during rush hour periods. Country location offers lots of peaceful charm and parklike atmosphere. We have a brand new public toilet too! And 30 amp hookups with excellent quality well water included. Class A, B and C Rvs and vehicle campers are welcome, we have enough electrical hookups and water for all. Portable fire pit and wood are available too. Outdoor fire area also available next to one space. Plus free range eggs are also available. Supermarket is just 4 miles away. Gas station and dollar store are less than a mile. And there's a few excellent restaurants in downtown Guyton too. We look forward to seeing you here. Aloha

Learn more about this land: Remember this is a primitive camping area. No electric. I can bring you fresh water for drinking and cooking, or you can get it from our spickets at the greenhouse and garden area. You will have 3 choice's to camp Next to a small pond in a shady place (we are cleaning up from some storms, it may not be ready for camping however you can still explore on foot and fish) An open grassy field next to the garden, this space has spickets to hook up for water and a regular outlet for electricity but not to run a camper. Under a large oak tree. You can drive right to this area. Very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 spots by the pond, 2 spots in the grassy area and 1 under the oak tree. Water is available for all at the open grassy areas.

We knew our property was a special place when we found it during our search when we decided to move our alpaca farm from FL to GA. We have raised alpaca for last 17 years. They are a fiber producing animal (similar to sheep) as well as just a beautiful animal, have great personalities and it is amazing to watch the herd dynamics. We have 2 very spoiled donkeys (sister and brother-gelded) - have had them for about 18 years. We are committed to provide the best care possible for our animals and love to educate people about alpacas (and donkeys). There is a large covered deck overlooking the alpaca pastures - come hang out with them. We have a farm store onsite with various items for sale made out of the alpaca fiber (socks, scarves, sweaters, hats, plushies, etc). As part of your stay, we provide a short alpaca farm tour! There is a 2 acre pond on our property which is adjacent to the campsite area separated by a fence. The campsite area is located away from our main house and the alpaca barn. There is a picnic table available. We have a bathroom facility onsite (and in the future a shower) - a short walk from the campsite area. Weekend Trip to Magnolia Hill

I loved tent camping here! Me, a buddy, and my doggo camped under the trees here for 2 nights. The place is great and well taken care of and the host Lorine was a dream Super Host! She let us use her spring water to top off our containers, sprayed the grounds with anti-bug spray, and checked on us occasionally to make sure we needed anything while also giving us a tour of her grounds! Loved sharing stories with you Lorine! Will definitely be back here again.

Catherine was very accommodating. The water, electricity and outdoor shower worked well. Our spot was flat. The dogs barked when we got there but were quiet throughout our stay. The noise from the road could get loud but did not bother us at all with our airconditioner on. 30 minute drive to Savannah

This was a great place to stop overnight. Lori was a great host, she even built a fire before I arrived and gave me a stack of firewood. My dog loved running around on the land, and there was plenty of privacy. 10000% recommend!!!
