It was originally the water source for the surrounding properties prior to the city installing a water system. It is completely private and unspoiled nature, with about a mile of walking trails throughout. The Mountaintop is a 3 acre high elevation site bordering 140 acres of undisturbed woods and is also very close to the Toccoa River. The bathhouse is a shared facility between three of the treehouses. It features two showers and two bathrooms (all separate rooms) and is fully climate controlled (warm in winter, cool in summer). It is cleaned daily, sometimes multiple times a day depending on usage. In the shower rooms, guests can find shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available for their use. In the bathrooms, there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and hair dryers available as well. The treehouses have been furnished with you in mind. All linens are provided (all bedding, kitchen towels, bath towels, etc) and additional linens are available upon request. Each treehouse has a kitchenette area, complete with sink, drip-pot coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar provided), toaster, microwave, and half-size refrigerator. Enjoy a unique stay in the middle of Atlanta. This tiny home is located on an urban farm. The space is simple and comfortable, with a full bathroom, loft, Tempurpedic mattress, dining table, cooktop, TV and internet. There is a full closet for hanging clothes and several shelves. On the farm, you will find rows and rows of beautiful wildflowers. Within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops & zoo. The space We're right in the middle of the city, a short distance from many attractions. But when you set foot on the farm, you'll feel like your miles away. The tiny house sits behind a concrete block facade that remains from an old house. The space in front of the house may look empty, but it has been used by the farmers for seed starts. In the future, we will be converting the space to a patio with seating and ping pong. The water heater is small - pretend you’re glamping! You can get about a 5 minute shower or a good excuse for skipping it altogether. Guest access You may wander the farm, but please stay off the beds and be mindful that these guys work really hard! The farm is pretty quiet January and part of February. Other things to note There is also a vintage Airstream on the property and is also rented out on Airbnb. I loved the tent of Gary’s land. It was winter, so we could see the mountains, while still feeling secluded. The breakfast was amazing and Gary gave us great ideas of places to visit. His puppies even came to say hi!

You are definitely in the mountains now! shelter is hand crafted from all rough sawn locally sourced wood from the site or from Fannin County forests.

Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Saw several deer and hawks. Lots of stars and quiet.

We loved the bathhouse so much, so clean and pretty. The whole site is the most unique piece of art you could find. Lisa and Winton are exceptional communicators and so incredibly sweet and accommodating. Perfect for rugged camping but with shelter & a shower! Feels secluded, but you still have cell service & civilization nearby in case you need anything. Also lots of historical sites nearby. Caught a few fish in the pond & enjoyed cooking over the fire. Cabin & bathroom were clean and owners were extremely nice! Would love to come back in summer so I can enjoy the flowers!

This is such a gorgeous and relaxing spot. The cabin is clean and roomy and the outhouse is pretty nice lol! One of the best parts is that the dogs got to be off leash around the site. It was a perfect way to spend a few chilly October night. We had everything we needed: a fire pit to keep warm, cozy blankets in the cabin, and forest sounds to keep us company. I highly recommend giving this spot a try. George is a phenomenal host who was available immediately when I called him with a question. 10/10 would come back!!
