The property features a 1 1/2 acre pond stocked with catfish and bream and has a nice little dock with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the water. There are animals! I have a beloved Scottish Highland cow named Genia and she is joined with two mini bulls and two mini cows. Various numbers of Nigerian Dwarf goats join them in the pasture. There are also a few chickens. Small garden beds and a fruit orchard are on the property and I usually have at least a half dozen projects of one sort or another going on. Several acres are wooded and there is ample space for a nature trail that I try to keep maintained. Several of the usual types wildlife can be seen. Are you an artist or a writer? This is a great place for comtemplation and inspiration. I myself have 40 years experience as an art teacher and professor. If you would like to have a mini workshop, let me help. Water is available not far from the campsites. There is also a portable pop up potty/shower tent (with bucket and seat) available.

We own a small farm on 64 total acres with around 59 wooded. We have 4 primitive camping sites with lots of woods, wildlife, and two small creeks. We are even located on a short dirt road to give you that country feel. All of our sites are spread out from one another and you will feel secluded in the woods with nature. On our farm are free range chickens, peacocks, goats and a donkey in a pasture, turkeys (wild and domesticated), honeybees (in the field), and a few outdoor cats. We enjoy our animals and nature. We want to share this experience with others so we have decided to rent a few camping spots that we have shared over the years with our children. Enjoy the peaceful nights and the sounds of nature and star lit skies. In the daytime check out our farm animals, walk the trails, or explore the woods. Guest are welcome to pet and feed the animals if they choose. We are conveniently located less than two miles from a Dollar General, three miles from several restaurants right of I75, 8 miles to nearest Walmart, under 20 minutes to High Falls State Park, under 25 minutes to Dauset Trails Nature Center, and under 30 minutes to Indian Springs State Park. All of this located close to our property while being only 3 miles from the I75 on ramp at exit 205.

Tucked beneath Atlanta’s tree canopy, our forest-style compound blends hostel energy with retreat-level calm. Spread across two houses and a bus with a covered pavilion, guests can choose private rooms, shared bunks and/or campsites and plug into an easy social vibe. By day, cool off in the pool, rally on the sand volleyball court, shoot hoops, or jump into a ping-pong showdown. Wander garden paths to the koi pond and waterfall, or grab a rental bike and hit nearby neighborhoods and trails. Evenings land under safety street lights and at the pavilion for potlucks, music, and mellow hangs. What you’ll find: fast Wi-Fi; self-check-in smart locks; kitchens; fresh linens; pay by load laundry; plenty of indoor lounges; on-site parking; and clear quiet-hours so rest stays real. If you a solo traveler, a remote worker, or a crew rolling through ATL, this is an easy launchpad to explore the city and a laid-back place to come home to.
