The ONLY Hipcamp opportunity inside the city with incredible access to shows, events, public transport, and restaurants! Run by lifelong backpackers and van campers, we truly understand your needs. We are a thriving hostel and a growing urban farm right in the heart of Atlanta. We have 2.5 beautiful, manicured acres of land that we are excited to share with our fellow campers. The main house serves as our hostel and is shared communally with all of our guests, offering access to indoor facilities as needed. Outside, we have five or more flat spots providing your preferred blend of solar or shade and privacy or social interaction. Everything is securely located in the backyard behind a locked privacy gate. Our communal space includes a fire pit, grill, slacklines, a trampoline, workout equipment, and even disc golf. We hope you will come join our community of travelers, doers, and dreamers. Being in the city is a natural part of life on the road, and we want to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. We are a five-minute walk to the public train, giving you easy access to the entire city. We are also about 12 minutes from the airport and only two miles from downtown and the stadium. Having lived and traveled in a van for over five years, I am forever a part of this community and lifestyle. I know it is always a treat to find somewhere safe and welcoming while visiting a major city, and that is exactly our goal for you. I have a variety of camping and van-life supplies available if you need a hand with anything, and we can also accommodate safe vehicle storage if required.

You'll be nestled between the Yurt and a beautiful magnolia tree. Guests will enjoy a short walk to the firepit and grill area, as well as the outdoor shower.

Life is a Highway

This site is closest to the home and is 40x20 foot gravel. It is part of the extended driveway and closest to the exit. This spot is best for those that want to be in and out a lot - or the largest of setups ie, pull behind, skoolie, etc. It is less nature friendly than the other spots but gives you quick access to the home and the largest parking space.

This site is more private and towards the back of the property. It is also the largest 25x27 foot mulch platform. It is best for those with bigger rigs or that want to setup for a longer visit. It has the most sun as well if you are a solar setup - great for a quick warm up in the spring - hotter in the summer. Guests will enjoy a short walk to the firepit and grill area, as well as the outdoor shower.

This site is closest to the firepit and event space and is 40x15 foot grassy patch. It is best for those with longer vehicles/campers. It is full sun for solar needs and right by the firepit and grill. Also closest to the open field views. Guests will enjoy a short walk to the firepit and grill area, as well as the outdoor shower.

This place was great for a short stay in Atlanta. In the city so there’s easy access to everything, but plenty of space to set up a tent or a larger rig! My dog had a great time as well. The hosts were all lovely, too. They made me feel included in the space without being invasive. Heather even let me use the kitchen and bathroom in the hostel during my stay! Bring ear plugs and bug spray and your stay will be perfect.

I think this is a safe and well kept up urban camping spot. It is also very affordable. This is a good spot to camp if you don't mind traffic noise and an occasional train passing nearby. I managed to sleep in my tent by wearing noise cancelling headphones most of the night. If you are sensitive to sounds as you sleep, you probably want to seek an alternative.
