We knew our property was a special place when we found it during our search when we decided to move our alpaca farm from FL to GA. We have raised alpaca for last 17 years. They are a fiber producing animal (similar to sheep) as well as just a beautiful animal, have great personalities and it is amazing to watch the herd dynamics. We have 2 very spoiled donkeys (sister and brother-gelded) - have had them for about 18 years. We are committed to provide the best care possible for our animals and love to educate people about alpacas (and donkeys). There is a large covered deck overlooking the alpaca pastures - come hang out with them. We have a farm store onsite with various items for sale made out of the alpaca fiber (socks, scarves, sweaters, hats, plushies, etc). As part of your stay, we provide a short alpaca farm tour!
There is a 2 acre pond on our property which is adjacent to the campsite area separated by a fence. The campsite area is located away from our main house and the alpaca barn. A beautiful small farm where we homestead. We have a large garden, including raised beds, and raise everything organically. No pesticides. We raise miniature horses, miniature Highland and Highland cross cattle, Kune Kune and Kune Kune cross pigs, as well as chickens and geese. We have a lovely 1+ acre pond in front of the main house, which is fully stocked with Brim, Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass. This pond has a wonderful ecosystem and is home to Kingfishers, wood ducks, Storks, herons, egrets, and is a place where a nesting pair of Bald Eagles come for water, and an occasional fish. We have an in-ground swimming pool, and a paddle boat to take out on the pond.

Please let us know if there is anything you need before your arrival and we do our best to accommodate you. For your convenience there is a Dollar General located one mile down the road.

Welcome to beautiful Aiken County SC! We are a small homestead/farm 10 miles north of the wonderful little city of Aiken. Our clothing optional farm offers access to sandy roads for riding horses and 4 wheelers, a sand pit is also close by for some exciting 4 wheeler action. Our travel trailer is situated next to the house but offers a private refuge. Pets are allowed but we have livestock guardian dogs so they must be leashed. We do have a fire pit on the property that you are welcome to use, as well as a charcoal grill. You are responsible for bringing your own charcoal, lighters, etc. If you need wood bundles please let us know.
We are located appx 20 minutes from Lake Thurmond and several well-known golf courses.
The entire property is a no-smoking zone. This includes cigarettes, vape pens, etc. This is also a non-drinking zone. No alcohol of any kind is allowed on the premises. These rules are set in place for the safety of my family and my animals.
Please let us know if there is anything you need before your arrival and we do our best to accommodate you. For your convenience there is a Dollar General located one mile down the road.

Welcome to beautiful Aiken County SC! We are a small homestead/farm 10 miles north of the wonderful little city of Aiken. Our clothing optional farm offers access to sandy roads for riding horses and 4 wheelers, a sand pit is also close by for some exciting 4 wheeler action. Our travel trailer is situated next to the house but offers a private refuge. Pets are allowed but we have livestock guardian dogs so they must be leashed. The trailer sports a queen memory foam mattress and full amenities with accommodations for other sleepers on fold outs. There is a fire pit in our front yard and option of propane pit for the canopy area by the trailer.
Guests are welcome to experience small farm life, we have chickens, of course, turkeys Jacob Sheep, Kunekune pigs and 4 Central Asian Sheppard LDG's and plenty of fresh garden raised food. In summer months we can and freeze dry our foods as well as local peaches, strawberries, blue berries and make Muscadine wine.
Lakes, hiking, Revolutionary War sites are all close by for your outdoor adventures. Bring you wheeler/dirt bike and horses and see what the Midlands of SC has to offer.

Weekend Trip to Small Stuff Farm
This has to be the best property offered on Hipcamp. I have rented places through Hipcamp as well as other apps, and this is the best property and best experience yet. The hosts Loretta and Erik could not be more kind and welcoming. They live onsite, and will give you space and privacy when you want it…but will also quickly make you feel like an Important part of the household.
The property is first class.
You can meet the farm animals and experience farm life as much as you’d like.
Yet you can also lounge by the pool and swim, and feel like you’re at a 5-star resort.
Very unique.
Also check out the large pond for wildlife viewing and a paddle boat ride if you’d like.
The bedroom and private bathroom is really comfortable and they have every amenity you can think of.
And be sure to include Loretta’s home cooked meals when making your reservation.
They are delicious, made with ingredients straight from the farm you are staying on, and the fellowship with new friends is the best.
Your best bet is to arrive for check-in, and not leave the property until it’s time for check-out.
You will love every moment.

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past.
With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake.
Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit.
This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

Camp management is outstanding! Truly cares about each guest and customer service is best I’ve seen in decades. Been there twice, love the area, both camper and cabin were exquisite in comfort and inspiring relaxation. Stress just melts away within minutes of arriving.
