We are stewards of 18 beautiful acres, and nestled between hills covered in hardwoods and Old Taylorsville Church Cemetery. We are very close to Atlanta, GA, Red Top Mountain State Park, The Booth Museum, Tellus Science Museum and the City of Cartersville, GA. GA mountains and apple country are a short 1.5 hour drive from our location. Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season. We also grow figs, herbs garlic and veggies. Feel free to harvest a few fresh herbs and produce for your first dinner!

The woods around us support several owls, Coopers hawks, some deer and an occasional red fox. There is a small nature trail that features several beautiful places to meditate by the babbling creek. Access to our neighborhood's recreation area as our guest to the swimming pool is available for an extra fee of $3/person (May-Oct). (For the safety of our goats, your fur babies larger than 10lbs are not permitted. One of our goats lost an eye once to a dog, and she's never fully forgiven me. ) We have several housemates, so parking is limited to street parking (one vehicle for you). Being under the canopy of the pine trees really helps keep the site cool during Georgia summers. We have a nice outhouse and outdoor shower with hot water that are available to campers. We do live on the property and the bathroom area is shared with others. Welcome!
