Weekend Trip to River Ranch @ Summerville, GA

Doni was an incredibly gracious and kind host who went above and beyond to be helpful! The property was perfect for our single night trip, and there seem to be several different sites available depending on what you’re looking for. The spot we selected had a fire ring, had enough room for several tents, and felt secluded even though it was just a 3 minute walk back to our vehicles. There is some road noise at night you can hear, but otherwise we had a wonderful time. We had some success fishing as well along the river, which was quite exciting. The paddle board was fun as well. Would love to come back with a larger group.

This was my 2nd time staying at Shackalakin Whats Crackin. It's one of my favorite Hipcamp spots in TN. Can't say enough positive things about this place. Where else do you have 20+ acres all to yourself? It's such a wonderful space to camp with my dog. And everything is very accommodating. Full hookups and very fast WiFi. Plus it's in a great location for outdoor activities.

We stayed under the RV cover in our campervan and extended tent due to the rain which completely kept us dry! This was the best spot I have camped at in years. Wide open fields full of deer and turkeys while all alone on far enough away from other people yet close enough to go into a small town for any missing or needed supplies. The area was well kept, had a string light setup, a nice fire pit, and lots of scenery. 10/10 visit, would and will definitely return in the future. Also of note was the host answers calls even as late as 9-10pm and is pleasantly cordial.

Valley View was a pleasure to stay in. Very new large spaces. Easy entry and backing in on the site we stayed on, #10. The only thing to be aware of is the interstate on the back of the campground and railroad across the street. All that said, we will definitely stay again! Nice location as well.

My boyfriend and I loved camping at this site. I was initially concerned about the site being right next to a road, but it didn't end up bothering us at all and the environment was still very peaceful. It was lots of fun to walk around the land too. The string lights and large bonfire space made the ambiance perfect for a relaxing getaway from busy college life. The land on the campsite was nice and flat which made it very easy to set up the tent and made it more comfortable to sleep in. Be prepared for a relaxing wake-up from all the local birds and a nearby rooster. Easy gravel parking spot only a few yards away from the gate entrance near the road. The owners came to check in on us one morning and gave us a very cute sticker to remember the place by! Thank you :)

Site was as described. A beautiful rolling hillside of freshly mown (when we were there)hay. Convenient to Cleveland. I would definitely stay again. Mark was always prompt, kind and informative in his communication. Just 20 minutes to the edge of the Cherokee National Forest, and the gateway to Ocoee River adventures and lake fishing. Outdoor joy for everyone!

We enjoyed another weekend at the farm! Erin and his family really do a great job as Hosts. They have thought of everything! I’ll definitely be back… hopefully to see the babies! :) Oh! And the jam is DELISH!!

Weekend Trip to Shackalakin What's Crakin RV Park

Good level gravel spot to park my truck with TC. Water, power, internet all worked. Great spot for privacy, nice spot for a family or group. Large fire pit with string lights in trees for effect. Turkeys next to camp each morning, nice field and tree line for walking. About an hour from Lookout Mtn. Mark's comms were prompt and the process was easy. Ill be back.
