Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore Crystal River. We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year. Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, Mexican restaurant, Brother's Pizza and Beef O'Brady's. Firewood is available on site. Loved camping here. The campground was beautiful and magical. We had deer visit us during the night and enjoyed the hoot owls calling to each other. Yvette is a wonderful camp host and made us feel so welcome even with our late arrival. She made sure we had everything we needed and then some. We felt like a wanted guest in her home. We wanted to stay in the woods and that is exactly what it was. My first time "glamping" and I recommend it. Nice to sleep in a real bed, have AC, heat and protection from the elements. We made a fire every night and enjoyed the trees, birds and squirrels running around. It is close to the main house, but we were unbothered and it felt private. Definitely a thumbs up! Very quiet yet close to town.

Super bougie spot to Hipcamp! Not sure they understand the nature of Hipcamp yet - very new. We were the only pop up travel trailer. This is more of a RV park. Amenities are amazing. Guests very welcoming. No communication with host via Hipcamp once booked - did not know which site was ours, the gate code, etc. Happened to run into a guest who once worked the office and she helped us.

We loved our stay! It was an adorable cozy little cabin with the benefits of camping--dinner over a fire, enjoying the outdoors, and an outdoor shower (so cool and enjoyable--even when it got cold at night!). We will definitely be back here. Perfect for a short getaway weekend and very easy to take kids with you without the stress of cramming into a tent and/or getting bad sleep on the ground. We brought out 5 month old and had plenty of room for her portacrib ! Very simple and fun!

A good place to park a travel trailer if you can't get into Lake Louisa or Griffen State Parks. Was quiet and has 30 AMP and city water hook ups. He also has a site with 20 AMP as well as some rooms he rents out. Backing into the site was a little twisty but he came out to guide me in.

The pond is Spring-fed at the headwaters of Marsh Branch Creek which begins at our property and flows West about five miles in to Tampa Bay. Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites. Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish).
