Only 6 miles to Pensacola Beach, 10 miles to downtown Pensacola, and 17 miles to Navarre Beach. This 1985 camper has been completely remodeled with a hippie flare. My 1/2 acre property has a very unique feel in this beach town. Go enjoy the nearby beaches, hiking trails, National Park, zoo, shops, and restaurants, but then come back to the peace and quiet of my Gypsy Rose which is nestled in a tropical forest. My neighborhood is quiet; great for walks and bike rides.

We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. We have a 32' sailboat that has been in our family for 3 generations and our oldest son runs charters on it. You can charter our pontoon boat for as many as 6 people to take you to Crab Island as well as some other spots that only locals know about. We can also accommodate up to 2 people on an inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.

Heart of the Country

Heart of the Country is our home and also your own personal twelve acre state park whenever you stay with us! We are less than 15 minutes from Interstate 10 and from Interstate 65. I offer a half-dozen campsites, all either on a relatively level paved driveway or grass. Power (20 amp and 30 amp) and water is available. We have two 30 amp campsites, which are first come, first served. WIFI is available! (please ask for password). This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary with lots of nature trails. This is also a hobby farm with livestock (Donkey, two Goats, two Ducks and a flock of Chickens). I feed the livestock grain every morning usually between 8 and 9 am, and again hay before dusk. You are always welcome to join me and I'll introduce all of them to you! My dog, Homer, is our very friendly welcoming ambassador who will enthusiastically great you upon your arrival. I put him up in his kennel each evening around dusk, then lock him in his shed until morning which keeps him from backing during the night. We also host an AirBnB, so other guests may be here as well. Texting via the app is our preferred mode of communication. If you call, please leave a message and I will call you back. The site photos are painfully impossible to edit and arrange. Use them only to determine your price, for example: A site with 30 amp power and water is $20 per night. A site with 20 amp power and water is $15 per night. A boondocking site (no power or water) is $10 per night. Suggested local attraction: Blakeley State Historic Park is four miles away.

Additionally the East West driveway is where the original "old stagecoach road" was long before Johnson Road, the old brick road (now a biking and walking trail), highway 90, and ultimately Interstate 10 each an iteration of East West mass transit through Northwest Florida. With 200 of feet of Blackwater river and bounded on the South and West by a wet weather pond and stream, we have everything from hawks, owls, and woodpeckers, bees, dragon flies, the occasional deer, and frequent raccoon. There are crickets, and symphonies of nature like the wet night frog songs makes ours a veritable "island" wooded paradise. Come relax in our neck of the woods all while being close to shopping, entertainment, state parks, sugar white beaches, surfing, boating, sailing, skiing, swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving . Whether you drive in, or fly in commercially at Pensacola International Airport or your own plane at nearby Peter Price Field you'll find a relaxing evening nestled in historic Milton Florida.

Large parking lot but watch for low power lines. Beach Cruiser Bicycle repair and gas motorized bicycle repair and sales. Have bicycle tires tubes and many bicycle parts in stock! I only have 1 site renting, the parking lot is never crowded with other vehicles. Great place to park, no detours off of HWY 29, just pull in and pull out, circular drive and parking lot. Direct access to other Highways like Hwy 65. No alcohol at this campsite, serenity. AA meetings if you would like. Property established in 1963.
