The hosts were kind and courteous,cleared a spot just so we could have privacey,went above and beyond..very clean campsites,very peaceful atmosphere ..the picnic table and fire pit were very convenient and nice..I would definitely recommend this camp site

This place is a little getaway near home! The airstream was clean and vintage! Gene is a great host and friendly. Having access to the bayou was great, you can take out the kayaks/canoe and go for an adventure anytime. So much wildlife to see, from birds, fish, and turtles! Definitely will book again!

Wow! What an experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtful and beautifully maintained. The grounds were pristine, and you could tell so much love and care goes into keeping this place special. The bathhouse blew us away—it was such a treat to have a full bathroom while camping! The cook shack was another awesome touch. Having a real sink to clean after cooking made our experience feel both rustic and fancy. We stayed at the primitive hike-in Site 8, and WOW—what a gem. Tucked away on a creekside cliff, it felt like our own private hideaway in the woods. Amanda, our host, recommended bringing a cart for the hike in, and I’m so glad she did—it made setting up camp a breeze. The site itself had everything we needed: solar lights, a fire pit with a cooking grate, a trash can, and a picnic table, with tons of room for our tents and gear. Our two boys spent the entire weekend playing in the creek, which might just be the dreamiest spot we’ve ever seen. We loved being able to float down the water, hike along the property, and just let the kids be wild and free while still having everything we needed close by. Amanda was such a lovely and thoughtful host. She checked in to make sure we were all set and even passed by while floating the creek herself! That little moment summed up the whole weekend-fun, relaxing, and full of heart. We’re so grateful for this experience and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!

I almost don't want to review our stay here because we want it all to ourselves! Amanda is a fantastic host, and her property is everything we were looking for. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful beach on the creek. We're already making plans to come back.

The boondocking site was just the right fit for that leg of my travels. Self contained toyhauler and Chihuahua mix. Once the door closed maybe if semi drove past may I have heard it. Host's were talkative quite pleasant and informative. Stay again, sure would.

3 nights at Gateway Trails

Had a beautiful night at Suzette’s campground very wonderful people. I would definitely stay there again.

This was my second trip to Gateway Trails, first was a solo trip and this time, friends came to enjoy! This site was new to me but was equally wonderful. The campsite was so spacious and yet private and protected, we felt perfectly safe walking around at any time of the day or evening. The site-mentioned outhouse was pristine upon arrival, our purchased firewood was stacked so carefully by the perimeter of our site so it wouldn’t impede tent setup, and the fire pit and table were clean and ready to go! We had less bug friends than I’ve ever seen at a campsite, plenty of space right next to the potable water to set up a portable shower, and the stars at night were clear and bright, deep in the heart of Florida (ten points to you if you know that adjusted lyric). Mr. Jay came to greet us and brought over his adorable pup to say hello as well. It’s been two years since I’ve been to their campsite, and he still remembered me (even after all their fully booked months!) and greeted us all with such kindness. We were bummed we didn’t get to see Mrs. Suzette but respectfully might request a celebrity appearance next time we come down! Thank you Gateway Trails for a fun, safe, and gorgeous camping trip, we cannot wait to come back.

Weekend Trip to Sandy Creek Resort

We had a great time! I love being outside and setting up a hammock around the fire and be away from everything! My girlfriend needs a little more- so this was PERFECT! Beautiful set up with many extras to enjoy. Felt like we were in a hotel room! But still got to set up my hammock, cook over the fire, and feel like I was out and away from everything! They have incredible outdoor kitchen ready for if you want more than the fire. The hosts were great communicating and making sure we were set up and enjoying everything! Very friendly and welcoming! Felt comfortable the entire time. Looking to book again soon and get goat yoga scheduled:)

2 nights at The Wandering Path

I could not recommend Amanda's place more highly! It's in a perfect location, right next to the most beautiful creek and far enough away from civilization that there's virtually no road noise. The bathhouse and outdoor kitchen are both amazing things to have, and Amanda was a helpful and attentive host. I'll definitely be back soon.

We loved staying at Amanda’s place! She’s was such a friendly host. We stayed at campsite number 8 and it was perfect for us. I loved floating the creek. It was clear and shallow!!

7 nights at Navarre Beach Camping Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Navarre Beach Camping Resort! The hosts were friendly, the RV park was clean, and the amenities were ideal. Being close to the beach access was amazing. Will be back!

3 nights at The Wandering Path

Amanda is an absolute gem. She was so accommodating from the start. My sister and I arrived there Thursday afternoon and was immediately greeted by sweet Bella. (Amanda’s dog) She hung around with us for a lil bit and then left to make her rounds of the campground. She came back a lil later and said hello again before headed back home for the night. Amanda greeted us right away as well. She made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to pick anything else up that we may have forgotten when she went to the store later that afternoon. The campground was beautifully set up. We stayed at the RV site. My sister had her RV and I set up my rooftop tent on my jeep. The bathroom facilities are adorable. Amanda went above and beyond when she designed them. Very rustic and quaint. I could go on and on about Amanda and The Wandering Path. She personally called me on our way out thanking us for staying out there and then wished me a happy birthday today. That was the icing on the cake for me:) I told her that we will definitely make my bday and annual trip. Thanks again Amanda for the hospitality. We couldn’t be more happier with our stay. Give sweet Bella some love from us until next time.

A great hidden gem. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun camping trip

The property is in a perfect location for star gazing, safe with gate code.Owners have a residence and can assist with pre-delivering firewood and or even a complete tent set up.Private nooks for campers and a new bath house being built. We went with 2 dogs 3 kids and it was great!

Weekend Trip to Navarre Beach Camping Resort

Cool area and friendly staff! The Cold water cabin was cute, a great price, with everything we needed for one night in Navarre. Sits in the middle of a lot of good food options as well. Only a 7 minute drive from multiple public beaches. Would definitely recommend checking this spot out!

I had an absolutely peaceful and fun time at Amanda’s yurt! It was so clean and comfy. Amanda was a great host and very friendly. The bathrooms were so clean and the communal area had everything we needed! I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you

Had a fantastic stay at the wandering path. We travelled with friends and booked yurts 1 & 2 which share the same entrance path so was super convenient. They were close but not to close. There was a good amount of people staying there that weekend but we had no issues with noise or waiting for the restrooms. The bathroom is an added bonus with hot showers. Especially after dipping in the creek. We loved our time there and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from city life.

I brought my 4.5yr camping at his request. Site 8 was the perfect spot for him to get the full camping feel but to still have access to a bathroom and also our car in the event we had to leave. The area was big enough that we felt secluded but I knew if I needed to find help I could. Which was a good peace of mind for a single mom.

Amanda is definitely a super host ! Mother nature moved us south for better weather and Amanda accepted us on her beautiful property right on the creek. The vibe was relax and every guest we talked to was chill and all had good things to say about their stay. Bella came visit often to make sure we was taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place
