Our camping area is surrounded by trees so you won’t even realize that you are close to everything. You are only 9 minutes (4.9 mi.) away from the Sun-N-Fun Fly In, less than that for restaurants, 6 minutes (2.3 mi.) from Walmart and Home Depot is less than a mile away too! Many denominations of churches are also within 10 minutes of camping. Walt Disney World, Busch gardens and Sea World are all approximately 45 minutes away. There are many parks, hiking and bike trails within a few minute drive. We have an outhouse (with a modern toilet), an outdoor heated shower, a cute “Clubhouse” (a converted 1950s camper) for small social gatherings and 2 community fire pits. Electricity is available at the Clubhouse for small appliances and charging electronics. There are several shared water faucets that run off our well. We hope that this is a quiet relaxing place. Our quiet times are: weekdays at 9pm and weekends 12am. Being this is a smaller place, we only have 1 public outhouse and 1 shower. They both are first come-first served. The “clubhouse” is available by reservation only. Being there are exotic animals on site (all are caged and not visible), no pets are allowed. Courteousness will make this a very enjoyable stay. We have lived on this property securely since the early 70’s. We hold NO LIABILITY on people or acts of God.

Our camping area is surrounded by trees so you won’t even realize that you are close to everything. You are only 9 minutes (4.9 mi.) away from the Sun-N-Fun Fly In, less than that for restaurants, 6 minutes (2.3 mi.) from Walmart and Home Depot is less than a mile away too! Many denominations of churches are also within 10 minutes of camping. Walt Disney World, Busch gardens and Sea World are all approximately 45 minutes away. There are many parks, hiking and bike trails within a few minute drive. We have an outhouse (with a modern toilet), an outdoor heated shower, a cute “Clubhouse” (a converted 1950s camper) for small social gatherings and 2 community fire pits. Electricity is available at the Clubhouse for small appliances and charging electronics. There are several shared water faucets that run off our well. We hope that this is a quiet relaxing place. Our quiet times are: weekdays at 9pm and weekends 12am. Being this is a smaller place, we only have 1 public outhouse and 1 shower. They both are first come-first served. The “clubhouse” is available by reservation only. Being there are exotic animals on site (all are caged and not visible), no pets are allowed. Courteousness will make this a very enjoyable stay. We have lived on this property securely since the early 70’s. We hold NO LIABILITY on people or acts of God.

You will possibly see cows, bobcats, wild turkeys, wild pigs, armadillos, birds, or the neighbors dogs might show up. Don’t worry, they are quite friendly. We have a 50 amp RV Hookup with NO septic and plenty of space for primitive camping. Bring your horse, but there is no paddock or barn. The storage building on the premises is not part of the rental, please leave it alone. There is electricity and non-potable water. The water is safe for teeth brushing, washing dishes, and showering, but it does have a very strong smell of sulfur. There is an outhouse. Please use it sparingly & only flush toilet paper provided. There is an outside sink, an outside shower with no privacy, a picnic table and a fire pit. If you come with your RV, please use your RV toilet. There will be a major fine for any septic dumping. 1/3 of the land is cleared and 2/3 is full of mature oak trees and trails. It is fenced with barbed wire fencing. Please keep your food trash in your cars & take it with you. You do not want to attract predators. You can recycle, or throw away any trash that is not related to food in the garbage can. Keep an eye on your small dogs. There are also snakes and predatory birds. It is hard with words to describe the beauty of this property, so please check out the pictures. Happy Camping!

This was a great trip! We had the place to ourselves for the most part. This was the first time primitive camping for the wife and 3 kids and a great spot to disconnect from everyday life. The cameras pointed at the campsites was a little uncomfortable, but we were able to setup behind them so we knew we weren’t being watched constantly. At night time on the weekends, the next door property had atv’s running and big guns shooting till 3am. So having good ear plugs is necessary. During weeknights, the atv’s and guns are not going. Definitely would go back again.

Awesome spots along the river. One is very accessible to the river. The river has a long sandbar that is perfect for playing and relaxing in. The water is nice and cold. No problems with wildlife getting into our stuff. They have swings throughout the property and perfect spots for hammocks. Be sure to look for the cute messages hanging from trees and you can even go home with a souvenir! 😁 The only down side is the gunshots throughout the night but it didn’t bother us at all. We will definitely be back with friends! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful land with us.

Weekend Trip to Cedarkirk Camp & Conf. Center
Really nice campground. I didn’t explore much as I just needed a quiet place to tent camp overnight after a sport event, but it was perfect for me. Site was large, with two spigots, a big picnic table and grill. Bathroom was very clean and great water pressure in the shower! Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Myrtle Oaks
Otter Cove is a great place for a weekend get away. Easy to find and fairly secluded. Short dirt road leading in. The spot is on the back end of a large clearing with big oaks surounding and drop off on two sides. The site has a good mix of shade and sun. We were the only ones their and had complete privacy. You can hear some traffic, but its pretty far off. We would stay here again.

So quiet and beautiful! Exactly what I needed to escape for a night. Had an amazing fire going for hours while watching the full moon rise. Definitely recommend this place and host! I'll be back for sure.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The campsites are so well maintained, the scenery is incredible & Paul is the best (make sure you get to hear one of his jokes after you check in). There are beautiful longhorns roaming around the campsites and goats in a pen you can go feed. Oh and the bathrooms? Impeccable. So clean and very nice. Truly cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful camping experience! The site was clean, private, and felt very safe. All the amenities were excellent and well-maintained.
