Site was as described/pictured. Check in instructions were clear on day of arrival and host was communicative about meeting at gate. The only hiccup was he mentioned a black double swinging gate with a mailbox. Immediately before that is a black double swinging gate without a mailbox. So do not look for the gate, only look for the mailbox. Otherwise it was a really wonderful visit and we were central to the things we wanted to do. In 3 days we covered 2 areas of Everglades national park, Biscayne national park, and snorkeling off islamorada. Highly recommend Mario’s for excellent Cuban food (as suggested by our Biscayne national park guide).

I absolutely loved tent camping at Kings Kamp! The ocean view was stunning, and the location couldn’t have been better for exploring the Keys. The campground is incredibly well maintained, and the amenities were fantastic—especially the free Wi-Fi, which was a lifesaver since I had no cell service during my stay.
The showers and bathrooms were consistently clean and clearly well cared for, which made a big difference. Even though the sites are somewhat close together, everyone respected the quiet hours, and it ended up being such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay—I had zero issues with noise.
I didn’t interact with the staff too often, but when I did, they were all very friendly and helpful. I’m so grateful I was able to stay here during my trip—it really added to the whole experience. I would 100% recommend Kings Kamp and would absolutely stay here again in the future!

What a great spot, in this adorable mini home. I loved that there was an outdoor area to widen the space. It was the perfect spot to stay, and visit the nearby national parks, one to the east and one to the west. Our hosts were so sweet and extremely accomodating. We hope to be back again one day. This space was incredible and you have to experience it for yourself! It's private and perfectly positioned between 2 national parks (Biscayne and Everglades) and the hosts are so kind and laid back. The whole property is fascinating, with exotic fruit trees, beautiful lights at night, and wild Peakcocks, but there's also a casual energy to the host's style that makes you feel at peace, even though you're a stone's throw from huge metropolitan areas. Joe came over and made my quiet senior doggo feel loved and my big loud doggo feel welcome.
The site was safe and private and Joe was super friendly. The dwarf bananas he had were the most delicious things! He even gave us advice on how to cook them (they were delicious raw as well).
Lord willing, we'll be back to enjoy this gorgeous property again.

Jack is a polite host with a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay. There's no "good and bad" in this review, but there is "great" and "less than great".
The great: Anyone that has stayed in the Keys knows that space is tight -- it's hard to find a private section of beach (and there's a dock!) while camping in an RV. The property itself is gorgeous, well maintained, and the sunsets are more beautiful than any photo. There's an abundance of sea life and sponges in the waters around the docs, which were just a short walk from the site. Jack kindly allowed us to use our Starlink on the doc and work from the ample, comfy furniture he supplies along the bay beach. We also enjoyed his list of recommendations -- the Fish House and Key Largo Fisheries were our favorites. For snorkle tours, check out Silent World -- it was a trip highlight.
The less-than-great: 1- If you have a bigger rig and are a novice or intermediate operator, coordinate with the host -- they will help! My advice (I have a 28ft toy hauler): don't pull through the gates, back your rig from the road down the driveway into your spot. 2-The rules for dogs on the property are strict, but fair. There are 3 camp sites very close to each other, an air bnb, and a dry camp site on the beach that necessitate the host rules. I do not enjoy campgrounds and this property is not that, but there are a lot of people staying in close proximity at any given time.
Overall, we had a fantastic time!
