An "Old Florida" vibe in Florida's Manatee Capitol of Crystal River. The property is private, yet just minutes from stores, restaurants and the water. The cabin is located on private property with owners and security on site, yet plenty of privacy. Your cabin is fully supplied with bedding, towels, refrigerator, coffee pot, cups and silverware, AC in the summer months, and an electric fireplace in the wintertime. On site is our own Bistro Barn fully furnished with a refrigerator, gas grill, charcoal grill, silverware and all the pots and pans you may be looking for. It's a great little hang out area with bluetooth speaker setup. Outside you will find a firepit as well as a charcoal grill, a table for eating, a hammock, and a swing chair. The outside shower house is on the primitive side and made for the adventure type. It is equipped with a portable toilet and shower under the stars. It is hooked up with instant hot water. During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee or dolphins on your way there. Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too. There are also several Diving with the Manatee tours available. One we suggest in town is Fun2Dive. These are all only a short drive away. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at camp fireside. Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River. We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year. Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's. We also have brochures on all kinds of other great places you'll want to experience while staying in beautiful Crystal River! Oh, and don't forget to stop by Grandma's gift shop before you leave. Weekend Trip to Glamping @ Lake Louisa

I loved the space. It was comfortable and thoughtful. We arrived bringing very little things with us for an impromptu weekend out for the first time “glamping”. Don’t forget the bug spray and lanterns! I liked that the port-a-potties were nearby and the regular bathroom is also an option down the road. This space is next to a pond so be aware of the wildlife near by (read alligators) and be smart.

Lake Louisa is beautiful!!!! The tent was organized and clean, they also have a small charcoal grill that isn’t saying on the list. The bed was comfortable. It is close to the lake and also the bathrooms the bathroom was clean and organized. The air conditioner worked well at night but for those who are allergic to smells it can be difficult but nothing that an antiallergic next day don’t solve the problem lol. I love my experience and I am for sure going back next year.

We really enjoyed our glamping stay! The tent is cozy and clean, and we appreciated that there are some basic amenities provided. One thing I would note: we booked and had some other friends staying in the “CF1” and “CF2” camp sites (the luxury camping tents). On the hipcamp booking sites it looks like the eco tents and luxury tents are close and all connected in a U shape. That is not the layout - the CF (luxury) tents and full bathrooms are a 15 minute walk from the Eco Tents. The eco tents have a porta potty located close to them.

The tents were clean and the site was beautiful! We camped with a group of friends and the only negative we experienced was the layout differed from our expectations. On the app the carefree tents and eco tents seem to be in a horseshoe and we expected we’d be in a field with our fellow campers, however the carefree luxury tents were actually a quarter mile down the road by the family and RV camping area. We made it work but just something to note if you’re going with a group. Overall awesome experience though!

We loved our time here! The cabin was perfect for the two of us. Plenty of blankets and pillows. They were also helpful with giving us recommendations on places to go. It is close to the owners home but we still felt like we had plenty of privacy.

Absolutely got our money's worth here! They are very nice people! The mini cabin was spacious, clean, had plenty of lighting, blankets, pillows, silverware, plates, ect. The shower was hot and private. Would definitely recommend!

Secluded yet minutes away from restaurants and stores. Very cute cabin with so many amenities provided. Stayed at the cabin closest to her house but it still felt private. Host was great and offered many extras.

Absolutely magical. We are both from Maryland. Lake Louisa offers a little bit of northern looking land. The glamping site was so clean i felt like it was a hotel. The cleanliness of everything, bathrooms, trails etc.
