2 nights at The Griffin Ranch

What a wonderful place to escape to! Carl and Terri were super-welcoming and made us feel at home and relaxed. Beautiful grounds to walk on and I fed a couple of horses some apples, which made me feel happy! I sat and read on the porch and my husband went fishing nearby in Eureka. The cottage has everything you need, and we got a great gift basket for a birthday treat. Nice little market nearby was helpful.

Arcadio was super helpful upon arriving. He helped us switch campsites with such ease to one that would be more suitable for the amount of people we had and gave a timely refund for the one we didn’t use. The land itself is great, too. There are fire pits, chairs, and tables provided in great condition. Plenty of firewood spread around. And a lot of animal noises (farm and wildlife) that made the trip feel like camping. There’s also a great swimming area like 7 minutes away Arcadia told us about.

Weekend Trip to The Griffin Ranch

Loved the space. I went for a quiet relaxing weekend to shut off from the world and that’s exactly what I did. The property was great, enjoyed quit walks along the lake with my dog and just sitting in rocking chair on front porch. Highly recommend.

The location was easy to find. Arcadia and his wife were absolutely welcoming and accommodating. The lots are spacious, easily accessible as well as comfortable. All and all a very charming experience I would definitely recommend! 10 out of 10! Don’t forget to ask Arcadia where to catch raddest sunset! 🌅

I really enjoyed camping with my family here. The people that run the campground even went out and hit a whole bunch of eggs around the campsite so all the little children can do an Easter egg hunt when they woke up in the morning. The Host that runs the camp is an awesome person and treats the campers with the utmost respect. I will definitely be coming here in the future with my family for future camping trips.

It's a nice place to get away. The owners have made great efforts to create a relaxing environment there. I took my 7 year old camping there and we had a great time.

Weekend Trip to Paradise Lake Rousseau ,Fl

This was a last minute find for my husband and I. Upon arrival we had to message with David to set the actual address - it was a bit further down the road than the app lead us. Beautiful for sunset and sunrise views over the lake. There were nice campers using sites on both sides of us. Everyone was friendly and respectful of each other's space. If you are looking for a private secluded spot this is not where you want to be. It was charming and peaceful with a pleasant breeze coming off the water where you could sit u see the shade of big mossy oak trees. There is a communal outhouse in the middle of the property with a flushing toilet, running water sink, and shower. We did not use the shower so not sure how well it works. There are fire pits (firewood for sale there but we brought our own) and picnic tables at each site (beware of the wildlife - they will snatch your food right off the fire and tables. David was friendly and likes to hang out on his golf cart visiting with the campers.

1 night at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

We absolutely loved our stay at the Little Lulu. The surrounding nature was peaceful and the amenities were amazing. We really enjoyed chatting with Cassandra and Walt, who are wonderful hosts. They set up the perfect campfire before arrival, and had everything we needed there for us. The two kitties, Cali the calico and Day-tripper the orange, kept us company all evening while we enjoyed hotdogs and s'mores under the canopy of stars. I highly recommend this stay, and would love to return in the future!

We enjoyed staying in our tiny house within an olive grove very much! The feeling of camping with a fixed roof over our heads! We even had our own bathroom and could use the outdoor kitchen!

We had a great time at Happy Campers Rescue Ranch! The animals were such a joy to visit with! They really loved apple slices and carrots ☺️ Other than the amazing animals, the other thing we loved so much about this campground was how quiet it is. So peaceful. The stargazing was incredible. They provided our personal outhouse, chairs, solar lights, and fire pit.

2 nights at Cabin Glamping

We wanted to stay in the woods and that is exactly what it was. My first time "glamping" and I recommend it. Nice to sleep in a real bed, have AC, heat and protection from the elements. We made a fire every night and enjoyed the trees, birds and squirrels running around. It is close to the main house, but we were unbothered and it felt private. Definitely a thumbs up! Very quiet yet close to town.

Good experience for a rustic camp spot. Arcadio's land is quite and the camp spots in the back were secluded enough but still close to the house if we needed anything. Arcadio is very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to camp for a few days, and don't mind "roughing it", then give it a try! Oh...also the location worked for us to go to Rainbow Springs (15 mins) and Crystal River (30).

the 4 little trailers are in there own little space the grounds are wooded and well kept the cabin had its own shower and tv extremely clean the outside shower was fantastic had a washer dryer Casandra was super cool let me stay a little later on checkout i 'm a tent camper in Ocala Forest usually but my first hipcamp experience was awesome Casandra even brought me firewood would definetly go back

Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

We had such a lovely time camping with friends at the Blueberry Farm! Cassandra is such a wonderful, thoughtful and considerate host. The sites are all lovely - clean, comfortable, and well equipped with so many special touches. We had a great time exploring the sites in Forest and hanging at the site playing games and enjoying the fire. This was my 3rd time staying at the Blueberry Farm and I can't wait to visit again.

The Blueberry Farm was everything I had hoped for and more. The camper I stayed in (The Gunnisack) was the perfect combination of well-appointed, cozy, and rustic, with all the amenities to make for a comfortable experience. An excellent mattress, an AC, all necessary cooking implements, firewood, a fire bowl, tiki torches... Cassandra truly thought of everything. The Gunnisack is tucked away in a little wooded bower, so it's perfect for anyone in search of peace and quiet. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a rustic, homey getaway that's close to all the amazing nature that Central Florida has to offer (the manatees, gators, monkeys, and incredible birds of Ocala National Forest are just a short drive away).

Located on 5 acres in the Ocala National Forest, Hookie's Hideaway is the perfect place to stay for easy access to all of nature's bounty and activities. This property is easily accessible, serene and peaceful. Campsites are in a beautiful grove of pine and sycamore trees. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are pet friendly!
