Turkey Hollow is a 10-acre farm with pigs, chickens, turkeys, goats, and a sheep who thinks she’s a dog. (All roam the property except the pigs.) All of our critters are rescues and orphans whose original owners could no longer care for them. We’ve worked hard to give them a happy place to live and play. Come join us on a “critter crawl,” where we take the goats, dogs, and sheep for a walk on the trails and feed them their favorite treats. Collins Farm is conveniently located 20 minutes south of Gainesville, right off of 441. OR 30 minutes north of Ocala, off of interstate 75. Quick on and off highway, less than 5 miles from exit 384. Private, peaceful camping is available with full RV hook-up that includes sewer, 50 amp electric with a 30 amp adapter, and water. Your campsite is located right in the heart of our farm. While at your site, you will see and surely be entertained by our goats, sheep, horse, Charlie and Dottie Mae our Kunekune pigs, chickens, Eduardo our turkey, and many more. The wildlife that you see is dependent on the season but likely includes deer, sand cranes, and the occasional bald eagles. Pets are welcome. We just ask for the safety of our farm friends that they stay on a leash. A fire pit and picnic table is at each site. We also include animal feed so you can feed the animals through the fence at your leisure. We kindly ask that you only feed them their feed and no other feed to ensure their health. For those needing grocery delivery. Instacart and Shipt delivers to Collins Farm on a regular basis. The historic town of Micanopy is just a few minutes' drive from Collins Farm and offers antique shopping, restaurants, unique gift shops, and entertainment. Paynes Prarie Preserve State Park is also within a few miles and offers hiking trails and wildlife sightseeing. There is also trails for horseback riding within two miles of Collins Farm.

As a return camper I will come back again! A quick drive to downtown St. Augustine, lots of restaurants and stores close by. Stephen is very easy to talk to, great communication. The campsite is quiet and surrounded by trees for a great night sleep. Plus my dog loved the yard😊

Good rustic setting. Small farm with lotsa goats. Probably not for very big rigs. Main house is kinda close but you should still be able to get some privacy. Owners were gone while we were there. I'd reach out early just to make sure they are home before you stay. Both spots have full power/water/sewer.

Corner key was a nice place to stay while we were passing through St.Augustine. It is a nice and quiet, well maintained with nice landscaping. We enjoyed meeting up down town with the family and exploring. Then getting away from the hustle and bustle to this tranquil hideaway.

3 star. The hookups were difficult to attach at the same time. The well water was brown and smelt weird. The bathroom had lizard poop everywhere. The animals looked like they needed some love. Yet, the view of the field was beautiful. Don’t expect much for the price.

Nobody was there to greet us when we arrived, but when I asked for the exact address, the owner replied quickly and gave clear instructions. The number on the power pole was different from the one in the message, but luckily one of the neighbors kindly showed us the right spot. It felt a bit spooky at night, but in the morning we were welcomed by a herd of friendly horses — they loved being petted! 🐴 The grass could use a little mowing, but it wasn’t a big issue. The water and sewer hookups were a bit farther from the power connection, though that also wasn’t a major problem. Overall, a positive experience — just better to arrive before dark! 🌙

This is a very quiet spot, it's not crowded at all, I didn't see another human the whole time. Lots of horses, I was hoping to see the donkey, but it never surfaced. The water appears to be well water, but it's clean, no smell, no issues. Very nice place.

Waking up to say "hay" to 7-8 horses was pretty damn cool, including 4 young ones. You stay on the side where the grass is greener so they loved getting the good stuff from us. Overall, just very peaceful, quiet, private, and surrounded by nature. A few box turtles walking around. All that is stuff we like. It is not for everybody, but we loved it.

It was wonderful! Quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed waking up to a lovely view of farm animals and the rooster's good morning call. The baby goats were the cutest! The host was really nice and the site was spacious. Im definitely coming back!
