12 nights at J and P Creekside Retreat

Camping at J&P Creekside Retreat was a wonderful experience! The campsites are very large and all have fire pits plus the outdoor shower is great with hot water. Hosts John and Patty are friendly and really make you feel welcome. The retreat is located on the Shell Creek and the entire place is truly a little piece of country paradise!

John's property is well maintained and he and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom and shower are clean and cumfterbull. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and will return, and recommend them to family and friends.

I recently stayed at J & P Creekside Retreat for a glamping getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful, natural setting made it feel like we had discovered a hidden gem. The accommodations were spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the comforts of home while still feeling adventurous and cozy.

John was very welcoming and accommodating during our stay. The property is beautiful and full of fun amenities from kayaking to a trampoline. Our site (Creekside A) was very spacious and comfortable. We definitely plan on returning once the weather cools back down! Great find!

Loved Johns site. The little A frame cabin was amazing. Everything there was well taken care and it was so peaceful amd relaxing. Had an amazing time I will go back.

Campsite was amazing right on the water. Beautiful set up with amenities: grill, fire pit, and patio on the water. Jeff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very nice. Caught fish every day. Hosts were excellent. Very private and quiet. Plenty of space, shade & picturesque creek.

1 night at Orange River Getaway

We reserved the drive in movie spot but did not watch any movies. Good site, level and dry next to the river. Kyle was nice guy and good host, his partner, Dee, was lovely. Plenty of kayaks (tandem) and paddle boards for guests. The river is very nice, mellow and slow moving. Overall a great site.

The A frame cabin at J&P Creekside is the perfect retreat! It is decorated with cozy furnishings that exude country warmth and hospitality! The king size bed is super comfortable and the cabin has a/c and a mini fridge and ice maker. There is a cute bathroom next to the cabin with a toilet and sink and ample room, also decorated with country charm. An outdoor shower is only a minute walk away and it is the perfect camping shower! If you are looking for a comfortable retreat in the woods, check this Aframe retreat out! This place is truly a little slice of sweet paradise!

I absolutely loved this place and highly recommend. The location was secluded with lots of privacy. Lots of trees. Definately made you feel you were in the woods. The whole layout of the property was beautiful especially at night with lighted areas where you will find a shower and a real bathroom. The campsite had everything you'd need including hammock and power. Firewood is available. Located right by a beatiful creek with very reasonable kayak rentals. The host was so accomondating and goes way above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. This place is a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed.

The Log home has a large living room, kitchen, 2nd floor master with single window seat which would sleep another person. Beautiful front porch for the water views and sunsets. The back screened in great room is a great spot to spend an evening. The cabin includes the use use of the Waterfront outdoor kitchen Cabana. Guests love staying here "If you don't like peaceful surroundings and beautiful sunsets and a host that truly goes out of his way to accommodate all your needs then I would avoid this place.
